Another viewpoint below, from a site that NeptuneLove posted ( http://www.uraniannights.com/articles/ltth.reflections.html )From Kathy Cooper: Wednesday 12 December: Jupiter conjunct Pluto. This is a powerful and intense combination of two of the heavies of the zodiac. It can be very positive for those who feel they need to liberate themselves from previous strangleholds on their lives. Some people will feel inclined to take a gigantic leap of faith, and for some this can really pay off bigtime. Freedom in every sense of the word will be the goal for many people on this lovely planet. There may also be some reforms and changes to our systems of control, such as prisons and other places of confinement. Those who like to gamble may win enormous amounts of money. Those who can afford to invest may choose very wisely and create vast fortunes and empires. The building of new and innovative companies, buildings and structures is very possible and can bring many rewards well into the future. We may witness incredible changes in the building industry, land and property. Our value systems will change. We can invest in the property market with confidence, provided we also have a safety net. Enormous changes and transformations are also likely in the travel industry, the funeral and associated industries, our legal systems, as well as in medicine and hospital administration policies. We may also see some major changes in who takes charge of running our countries (Prime Ministers, Presidents, Kings and Queens) and some very powerful leaders will emerge with many new policies in mind for major transformation of our land, the environment and even our belief systems. There may also arise a major new leader connected to either politics, the royal families, churches and various religious groups in the world. However, there can also be a downside. There can be fanatacism to the extreme in many areas of our world. Those who are one-eyed will be very noticeable, dogmatic and opinionated about what they believe is very right or very wrong with our world. Some big businesses may also go bust, due to over optimistic expectations that could never be realised. Some very wealthy individuals may lose vast fortunes, or go completely broke or bankrupt. Protecting one's wealth will become of paramount importance, not only to those who are already abundant, but those who are setting out to make their own personal fortunes. IP: Logged |

Kindjali ~ quote: What if this occures trining my Chiron in 4th house, Aries? This also occurs [list]. . . What is going to happen?
No one can know that….. we could guess at certain scenarios, but very few human spirits could predict what is going to happen to you, and the few that could would probably be psychics, not astrologers Did you ever read this excellent excerpt about Astrological Predictions from Steven Forrest?? http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/012497.html The important points: quote: No astrologer can say what any one of us will do next. He or she might say how the stage is set, what the issue of the day might be – and what will happen if we try to slither away from facing it. The astrologer might also tell us what we can learn if we respond creatively to that issue and what new possibilities each path might open – all that, but what we will actually do? Never. Questions, not answers: These are the heart of any accurate approach to predictive astrology. We must honor human freedom and weave it into our understanding of the astrological symbols. We must do that not for pretty, soothing philosophical reasons, but because the human will is a mighty force, a power capable of shaping its own future. In short every accurate astrological prediction must end with a question mark. It is we, not the planets, who are writing the script. And with that freedom comes uncertainty. Life is a vast, ironic, mysterious whole, and most attempts to break it down into its components are intriguing intellectual exercises at best and vain self-deception at worst. Any such analytical systems, whether we call them religions or sciences, can be judged only by their practical usefulness and never by their ultimate truthfulneses. That final, all-pervasive Truth can be witnessed perhaps, but never precisely described. No words or ideas could ever be powerful enough. At least that is the way it looks to me. One such arbitrary division of experience has proven to be very practical in helping me organize my understanding of predictive astrology. It is the notion that the process of life goes on at three distinct levels. The first and most obvious is the physical level. This comprises all that we do and everything that we might choose to call “reality” – trips to Europe, the endings and beginnings of relationships, meetings with “tall dark strangers.” The second level is emotional and psychological. Thoughts and feelings are the substance of this dimension – all the inner, subjective reactions we might have to the actual events on level one. We quit a job; that’s a fact, a level-one experience. But how do we feel about it? Scared? Elated? Inspired to new heights? Insecure? That’s level two. Finally, on level three, we find issues of meaning and purpose. We can refer to this as the spiritual level, though we need not think of ourselves as being particularly “spiritual” to grasp it. One way to come to terms with level three is to imagine that we are reflecting back on personal events of many years ago. What ultimate significance did those events possess? How did they help us to become what we are today? What we’re getting at in level three is a sense of how given events fit into our overall pattern of development. Typically, such reflection inserts into our memory of those events a level of self-awareness that did not exist in us then. “Mommy didn’t hug us much, but she would always feed us candy when we were good.” At the time, we felt happy to be given the candy. Twenty years later, level three awareness might arise, helping us to understand how the Love-Equals-Food equation has contributed to our pattern of compulsive overeating. We seem to stand outside ourselves, grasping the patterns of our lives – and that’s the essence of the third, or spiritual, level. Astrology is fabulously accurate at predicting what happens on level three. That is its real purpose and its ultimate strength. Above all, astrology is a study of meaning – and meaning exists only in the spiritual dimension. Working on that level, a predictive astrologer can approach 100 percent accuracy, although in practice the symbolism involved is often incredibly subtle and human error takes its toll. What am I supposed to be learning here? What is the broad purpose of this event in the overall plan of my personal development? How will I look back on this moment two or three decades from now? Those are the questions we ask on level three, and if we want to understand our lives from that perspective, we can seek no stronger an ally than a sound knowledge of astrological symbolism. Moving back to level two, the dimension of emotion, the accuracy of predictive techniques falls off dramatically. It is still significant, but not nearly so precise as the descriptions available on level three. How might a person feel about facing those spiritual issues? There is a lot of room here for human differences. An astrological event, for example, might arise involving the planet Saturn, always a sure sign that the spiritual lesson will touch on the need for practical, self-disciplined responses to concrete reality. One person might react with renewed personal resolve, self-respect, and determination. Another might experience a sense of inadequacy, followed by feelings of defeat and despair. The lesson itself is in the category of “fate,” but the emotional response is something we create ourselves and for which we must take personal responsibility. But what is the nature of the actual event which the passage of Saturn triggers? On level two, such a question is of no concern – here we are only interested in feelings and attitudes, not in what “actually happens.” Level one, the physical, is the least predictable of the three. What outward action will the individual take in response to a passing astrological configuration? Certainly, some of that is determined by feelings arising on level two, and they themselves are unpredictable. But even if the feelings are understood, there is still enormous uncertainty. To predict which action a person will take in response to a spiritual question is futile. We might be right every now and then, but we will be wrong a great deal of the time. Predicting how someone will feel is a bit safer, but even there we will often be surprised. People are frequently far more resourceful and resilient under pressure than we might expect. It is only in predicting the nature of the spiritual issues people are facing that we can achieve dependable levels of accuracy – and significantly, it is there that we can best help a person to grow in self-knowledge and happiness. The tragedy of astrology’s history is its obsession with level one, the dimension of action. Even its victories in that department seem pitiful in the light of the opportunities missed. It’s as if Albert Einstein had decided to be a baseball player.

quote: This conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto falls exactly on my descendant!! I am thinking.. I will become more counscious what my real needs are? What other interpretation could you think of??It's on my DC as well. You'll enter a relationship (7th) with a Sagittarius (Jupiter) with Scorpio (Pluto) in his chart lol Or.. could it be a Sagittarius AND a Scorpio ? lol
To my best friend the conjunction falls on Nadir Pluto conjunction Descendant: Cards on the table Your intimate one-to- one relationships, such as a marriage or other personal relationship, partnership and close encounters with friends and enemies, will be greatly affected by this influence.
In a marriage or other close relationship, pressures will surface that indicate that you and your mate need to consider making significant changes in your relationship. Perhaps you have been reluctant to face the forces at work between you, afraid that discussing them would cause a blow-up. And it probably would, but a blow-up is not always a bad thing in a relationship. Now it will become especially urgent that you both lay your cards on the table and work out all the problems in your relationship that are bothering either of you. Otherwise the pressure may build to the breaking point. This influence can cause a close relationship to break up, if you do not face your problems honestly. Very often this influence does not affect the relationship itself but brings about an encounter between you and someone who will be very important to you, someone who may literally transform your life. This may be someone in a professional capacity, such as a psychiatrist, who will help you learn what is making it difficult for you to live the way you want to. Or it may be a friend who affects you more strongly than most. Unfortunately it may also signify a struggle with an enemy who is particularly powerful and disrupts your life. However, even in a confrontation with an enemy there is potential for positive change. Jupiter conjunction Descendant: Mutual growth During this period you seek to grow in various ways through your closest contacts with other people. You try to create relationships that will further your life, not in a spirit of selfishness, but in a desire for mutual growth. Often at this time a person will come into your life who offers to help you out in some way, usually through a partnership. In business, for example, this is an extremely good time to enter into a partnership or a contract with someone. In your personal life, you will work more closely than usual with someone, which will work out very well for you both. If other indications are compatible, you may meet someone who will be important to you romantically, but that is not the usual result of this influence. This is also an excellent time to seek out someone for counseling, especially a lawyer, but also any other kind of counselor. Related to this, incidentally, is that if you have a case in court at this time, it will work out as you want it to. A marriage or intimate relationship should work better than usual now. You and your partner will be anxious to help each other grow and to further each other’s interests in all possible ways. You do not want to restrict your partner or be restricted by her in any possible way. Because you understand the need for freedom of individual self- expression within your relationship, you will try to find ways to bring that about. If your relationship is not working out very well in general, this influence can have either of two effects. It can either bring a time of healing in the relationship so that it ceases to be such a problem, or it can make your desire for freedom so strong that you break off the relationship altogether. At any rate, the problems themselves will cease. And a relationship that does break up under this influence (this only applies to one that is on the rocks) will do so relatively amicably. Source: www.astro.com How do you think these two interpretation could sum into one? IP: Logged |

Thx Zala I know all that. Looking events in my life and astrological predictions everything is possible...learning from past is good thing. I wanted to ask "What could?" not "What can?". Emotional life is activated here, some beginnings, healing, but strange stuff. I am trying to "connect" it with extraodinary period in my life that comes in Spring 2008. Sry K.

Ms. Ozmeg - You know you have such a lovely heart, you also think that others can see it, however, not all can see as deep as you'd like them to. It would be my guess that with your person, they don't know what they want and so they would not be able to connect with you long enough to "see" your heart. But keep giving, you are the type that just needs to give no matter who you think sees or doesn't see. Now the person who has the 7th house aspect, Lana, I think that would be extremely good to have a chance to move your life into some very positive directions with a bit more stability and a want/need /desire to "settle down". It feels as though it is time. The 4th house Chiron, Kindjali, trust your feelings, it is time to know that you have had so many events and people try to pull you away from what your feelilngs have wanted to speak and walk as the truth. Chiron is the spiritual warrior, sheild of Truth and path of Love, keep going. Still at large - It has been a trial-by-fire for you, no doubt. The issue is that you are bringing forward TRUTH, important, and the results will open the door for transition as you move into 2008. The explosion of Jupiter/Pluto brings in the events that will provide us with new directions and the rewards for our choices, directions will move us into our appropriate new environment. Funny Face - I think that you will be getting into the right career/direction that may allow you to go to school or take up an important study....you have so much to offer, it is time to move it into the outside world. Gemini-Fizzi - I think you will begin to shine so much more without Pluto opposing you by sign, you will feel that the challenges are off and you have the chance to move into a really good direction for you one that potentially has a great relationship connected to it. That's my take. IP: Logged |

Karyl- Thank you! I'm having such a bad day and what you wrote cheered me up. Made me cry, but cheered me up. I gotta open up a bit more, how can I expect people to see my heart if I don't open it! I mostly blame it on my leo moon conjunct retro saturn (in 3rd) opposed mercury in my natal. But I'm the only person who can do anything about that... Thanks again!IP: Logged |

Hi Karyl, Thanks for the great words. These past 4 years of Saturn transit have been very bad for me. Heartbreak, separation from my family, all kinds of stuff that has made me lose a lot of sleep and hair. The last jupi-pluto conjunction in 1994 was a good one for me. It was conjunct my sun in 29 Scorpio. I got into school for my degree. I hope this one helps me find peace in my personal life. I have 4 planets in Sag and MC too. So Pluto seems to have hit them all very hard these 14 years. Hope he is kind to me when he leaves. Will this transit mean that finally I find the love of my life? Thanks again.IP: Logged |

Thank you Karyl,I admit that path is looking confusing at the moment. Hopefully I will get what my heart wants this time. It sounds fatalistic, but If I don't get this "reward" till July 2008, doubt it that I will anymore. K. IP: Logged |

Thanks Karyl. I just remembered back to Nov. Dec. of 94. I had met a very good looking but sorry guy at the grocery store who I dated, found out I had gallstones and would need surgery lol, got a small but very helpful amt. of money from a guy who'd deliberately rear ended my car, was left by the very good looking guy for an older woman who drove a convertible Jag, lost a job,and then in first 3 of the year just pretty much reached the end of my rope with the family situation. Great things happened in the spring and summer of 95 but it was after the battle. I had to go through some hard ugly things first that I'm not even mentioning and I feel like I've never gotten over them. I hope this PJ conjunct helps me to do that. This one is supposed to be especially "pleasant" with 26-29 degree fire signs and I'm 29 Leo so maybe I can escape the bad stuff this time. IP: Logged |

Thanks Karyl, If Gemini-Fizzi is me, I could say that the last 12 years were quite difficult for me, like every accomplisment (and there were many, wich I have worked hard for) felt a bit as a "consolation prize".... there I said it. This is about to change and that's wonderful IP: Logged |

tPluto is in my 8th square nPluto in my 5th... nPlu is also square my tJupiter and tMoon. It's under a degree away from my venus/mercury midpoint (venus in 8th mercury in 9th) And... It's a little bit over a degree away from my moon/mercury midpoint (merc/9th moon/8th) Anyone have any ideas what this could mean? Tell me, I can take it. ~It's less than a degree away from my SR pluto in the 12th. I don't know how important that is, since it's a SR and it's ending in a month - probably not that important. ------------------ Sun Aqua, Moon Sagg, Asc Taurus IP: Logged |

HeartCakes: Yes, it would, but if it's an ending, what is the new beginning? I guess pluto in capricorn...But that conjunction (pluto in cap/jup in cap) won't happen for a long time (if at all). So, how long do the effects of this conjunction last? I *guess* it's like a regular conjunction and will separate, so its effects will wane as the orb grows wider...right?I guess I just don't understand how this can last 13 years. Pluto will not be in sag much longer and jupiter leaves sag soon. So, it makes no logical sense to me how this can start a 13 year journey. It just doesn't have any logic to it. And I don't remember anything out of the usual happening in December of 1994. Nothing. I don't feel it started any kind of journey. IP: Logged |

Hey Mustang, None of your planets must have been in orb with the JP conjunction in 1994, hence you did not feel the effect. I did have a major career breakthrough at that time, Feb 1995 to be precise. I am now hoping to have a breakthrough on the personal front. the JP conjunction was 2 degrees away from my MC, hope it is a positive thing.IP: Logged |

ZALA - Thank you, you are so nice to welcome me. You know the reason I got into astrology (and numerology) was because I wanted to see and understand others and astrology was really the only thing that gave me answers. Of course growing up way back when (in the 60's) there wasn't any books or anything like that to read from, so I would do people's charts and watch what happened to them and then I began to understand from the "laboratory" of life who the person INSIDE really was and I could see and understand the cosmic clock. So to check in and look at different people is "fun" and I just love seeing who people really are INSIDE.

Mustang - Since Jupiter takes approx 12 years to go through a sign, spends about one year in each, the Jupiter/Pluto in Sag brought to the current all the issues we have been dealing with since 1994. This continues to pull all of these events forward for resolution and then as Jupiter rolls into Capricorn, Jupiter rolls out a red carpet of sorts, to give us the opportunity to bring our accumulated efforts forward to move into the career and business world. So, this conjunction brings all issues into a time of resolution and transformation into a new phase. So HEARTCAKES is right - both. Now, that we are moving the focus into Capricorn, the "doorway signs" - those that are square (and opp and conj) will have the opportunity to move into the next level; Aries, Cancer, Libra So this one may impact you a lot more. But one of the things to realize is that until Uranus was SQUARE Pluto by sign, the intensity was "bearable" ...but 2002/2003 the intensity became like a blazing inferno. But greater challenges create greater galvanized character. So, there will be a bit of easing once Jupiter and Pluto move into a more harmonious energy to Uranus ..... Look to Jupiter as it rolls out the red carpet... time to dance along the way into a New Year!!! IP: Logged |
