Jupiter and Pluto conjoin on Tuesday (Mars' day) December 11th, 2007…..

From: http://artcharts.com/aspects/jupiter/conPluto.html

Jupiter conjuncts Pluto

The conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto can blend power and position, authority and influence, vision and prosperity. This can be a time you get your karmic rewards for the good deeds that have gone seemingly unnoticed. Mixed with important, serious, historic events and environs, there needs to be some levity, humor, lightness, even (and perhaps especially) at the most critical moments. This IS your life, your legacy, but we are also human and substantiating ourselves by overfilling our egos with our grandeur and being overly impressed with our own greatness can stretch and distort our positive and negative qualities and experiences, especially exaggerated during this conjunction. Maybe it's good enough to be you! That's who everyone is hoping will show up.

If you stay away from petty disturbances and ego skirmishes, keep your eye on the big prize and your focus on networking with the famous and fabulous, you can improve your position as Jupiter and Pluto conjunct.

From Bill Streett at astro-noetics.com:

Jupiter conjunct Pluto (in effect from late October through December)

As the Saturn-Neptune configuration lessens in quality as the year progresses, a potent conjunction takes place that has an almost diametrically opposite manifestation than the Saturn-Neptune opposition. If the Saturn-Neptune opposition is characterized by an anemic, ascetic and world weary urge for transcendence, a spiritual longing for a heaven or hereafter that is more ideal than this world, then the Jupiter-Pluto configuration is nearly antithetical in quality and tone. Jupiter coupled with Pluto represents life force in triumphant, haughty swagger. The Jupiter-Pluto pairing is Nietzsche's "Will to Power" dressed in royal regalia and regal splendor. With Jupiter and Pluto in pairing, the king of the Gods meets the king of the Underworld, and the results are quite striking.

With this planetary pairing, Jupiter tends to exaggerate, inflate, expand, and liberate the evolutionary life force associated with Pluto. Conversely, Pluto's immense power tends to "hypercathect" Jupiter's tendency towards social elevation, success, and aristocratic resplendence. At its best, Jupiter and Pluto together can manifest as truly magnificent displays of grandeur, majesty, and imposing splendor - art that overpowers, authority that commands, individuals and organizations that triumph and succeed. At its worst, the combination can easily degrade into grandiosity and pomposity, or an arrogance that reeks from an overwrought decadence.

In the closing months of 2007, phenomena congruent with the Jupiter-Pluto archetypal matrix will manifest. This is a "bigger is better" combination in all respects. In art and culture, Jupiter-Pluto alignments tend to correlate with "events" - spectaculars, fanfares, and enormously large-scale events that tend to overpower the senses and sensibilities. In politics, the Jupiter-Pluto aspect is arguably the aspect for displays of political might and power.

The danger with Jupiter-Pluto aspects as they relate to politics is that they tend to correlate with either stunning successes, or conversely, extreme downfalls. In business and economics, the Jupiter-Pluto aspect is a titan's aspect, a captains of industry aspect, and it can correlate with extreme business deals and mega-mergers - anything excessively large and excessively expensive can be an expression of this aspect.

Uranus conjunct Mars and Rahu: Accidents, power shortages, airline crashes turbulent weather
Uranus conjunct Rahu opposing Saturn conjunct Ketu: Mass media discrepancies, accidents, surrender, miraculous discoveries
Saturn changes signs into Leo: Political shifts, new leadership, and democracy
Jupiter changes signs into Sagittarius: (November) Religious beliefs intensify
Jupiter conjunct Pluto opposed Mars: (December) Religious and righteous fundamentalism, war and power plays, explosive events with loss of life

Jupiter conjunct Pluto. December 11, 2007.
Jupiter - the principle of expansion - aligns with the lord of the underworld. This conjunction happens only once and does not linger. Coming as it does at the end of the year the suggestion is that the transformation is complete. Our old era is dead and the new one is born. The struggle is over.

Azalaksh,

Thank you for that. I can't wait because that conjunction happens at my Venus/Jupiter midpoint, so I'm gonna be popular, rich and happy.

My thought for this conjunction, at the galactic center no less, it's literally going to actively rain money and good luck. But because Mars is involved it won't be paper money, it will be metal, so put on a good sturdy helmet and get some plastic buckets to catch all the gold coins.

Maybe they will be money bombs, so the explosives may do a little damage, frighten us a little, but we can be cautious. We'll have our helmets afterall.

I think everyone should make their biggest active wishes RIGHT NOW so they can come to fruition around that time. Jupiter-Pluto contacts are reward. Everyone gets an Oscar, everyone gets a Gold Star!!

Merry Christmas everybody, Happy Holidays and enjoy yourselves now before Pluto dips his toes in Capricorn. Save that money, too, cause when Pluto goes into Capricorn to stay, we'll need it.

In the meantime, PARTAAAAAAAAYYY!!!!

I've got mine ready for that rain of money, Geo!!!

And I'm working on a giant funnel system for my collection barrel

Should add that the conjunction occurs approx 28Sag22..... I have no delightful midpoints there, only a measly sextile to Saturn at 29 Libra

Eighth ~ Thanks for your kind thoughts

OH YEAH!!! The Sun comes along and highlights the conjunct. It's all around the 17th, 18th, and 19th of December!!!!

MO' MONEY, MO' MONEY, MO' MONEY!!!!!!

Azalaksh,

I need a helmut like yours and maybe some body armour, too. That barrel looks like just about the right size for collecting those gold dollar coins from heaven. Since it's coming from the galactic center, I really do believe it will be raining money from heaven.

Since the galactic center emits infra-red energies, we might want to use a wooden bucket like Azalaksh's because you shouldn't microwave stuff in plastic so the money might be a little radio active, but let it sit in the wooden barrel for a few days and the radio activity will wear off.

Just in time for Christmas Shopping.

I'm like Daffy Duck, I'll be a happy miser.

Thank you Zala. Great read.
That conj will be one degree from IC, would be grand if it helped to solve pending residence problem.

My birthday is on december 18th, so I think this Jupiter-Pluto-conjunction happens very closely to my natal Sun/ Mercury-conjunction with Mercury being DSC-ruler.

And on 10th december I`m gonna go to a concert. I really hope to have a good time there.

Mars retrograde in 7th house trining Moon
Venus conjucting Uranus trining Moon
Omg...what is going to happen..

I think that Jupiter will expand all of our motives, ethics and efforts since Pluto went into Sagittarius in 1995. Jupiter will connect and explode open the magma of our efforts and philosophy used since that time. The "lie, cheat, steal to win" folks will have many of their efforts begin to be seen and then when Jupiter moves into Capricorn, their "career ambitions" may have a revealing of the true motives. Those who have gone through "trial-by-fire" process that has galvanized the true ethics and the highest of Sagittarius philosophy will move into Jupiter's entrance into Capricorn and have their efforts become visible as well. The connection begins to roll out the red carpet of our past efforts and move us into the Pluto in Capricorn transition in which the changing of those in power will occur. I believe we will see major changes and transitions in government, big business and international powers because of the philosophy used since 1995. We each will begin to see the pathway emerge with the explosion of the magma of our effort, providing a path that moves us into our rightful positions.

Was just looking at my midpoints and notice this conjunction will hit my venus/pluto midpoint smack bang in the middle of my 7th house.

Help!

I'm hoping for a boost in my love life (to actually HAVE one, lol!) but as the 7th is ALSO open enemies I'm betting its going to slap me in some way. Supposedly 'nice' transits in the past have brought me nothing but heartache, so I'm wary of this one- and its a strong one.

Any advice knowflakes???

You know I have a tendency to think that your actions since 1995 (when Pluto first went into Sagittarius) will have a stronger impact than midpoints. If the conjunction ocurs in your 7th house, I think it could be getting a job that gives you the opportunity to meet a really good mate and connect you with the type of people you enjoy.

That's my take - well let us know what happens.

Karyl-
Funnily enough I was offered a job last night! I already have a good job, but as this one is only about an hour every night cleaning offices around the corner from my house, I'd be mad not to do it. No travel time, no tax man (Shh!), no babysitters.
Not sure how I'll meet anyone alone in an office, but you never know.

I've been doing some reading, and discovered the sun on that day will be at 18deg sag which is square the september eclipse. The lunar eclipse in march and this september one really knocked my heart around. The first man I truly loved left my life (first eclipse) but wouldn't stay gone (second eclipse) so I'm hoping this particular conjunction won't bring that old chestnut up again! The pluto/jupiter conjunction is also conjunct the neptune in our composite so if I run into him I guess I'd better be wary of neptune's fantasy...

Ive only red this thread now...so should we all ask wishes like if a falling Star were passing through the Sky?

Well i will be at the store not doing anything special i think..but i bet now that i will be wishing sth!

I went at the charts seeing what would happen to our natals there:

On my Bf´s : the Jup/Pluto conj will be exaclty conj his Juno in his 6th house; and also his Neptune in his 5th...would mean anything good particular?

I will be at my 3rdd house, conj Uranus..well not anything romantic to wish for..it will trine my Venus though...

I am feeling strange now-a-days, I am trying to recognize myself. I have cleaned my home and my office from a-z stuff, got rid of all stuff which I was not using from years. I am changing apartment at the end of month.

I am questioning my beliefs.

Thank you!

OK, ya'll piqued my curiosity now...1995 was independence day for me. I struck out on my own in a big way due to some vicious acts by my infamous sister. I then embarked on a 6 yr. career in a male dominated field that solved many but not all of my problems. She's 18 years older than me and has done serious harm to me with her lies and scheming. So, does this mean my sister's actions will finally be exposed and she will have to give back all the money she stole and admit some of the other things? This has been a lifelong thing with her and we are involved in litigation now but I'm supposed to be getting my case together and it won't go to trial til after Christmas at least. I can't figure out any OTHER way it could bring a lot of money except what I'm expecting in grants, loans for college.

I have the transiting Pluto&Jupiter conjunction in my 5th house EXACTLY opposing my natal Jupiter (in Gemini) in my 11th house.
This Pluto&Jupiter transit is also in conjunction with our progressed composite Sun in the 7th house...

Something powerful happening...? I'd greatly appreciate any insight, please...

Lana, Thanks for reminding me to check the composite
So... the Jupiter Pluto conjunction squares composite Moon (0 Aries), makes a trine to composite Venus (29 Aries) and a sextile to composite Juno (0 Scorpio)
Pretty exciting

It's on my DC as well. You'll enter a relationship (7th) with a Sagittarius (Jupiter) with Scorpio (Pluto) in his chart lol

What if this occures trining my Chiron in 4th house, Aries?

This also occurs this days:

Sun on my ASC
Mercury square Venus
Venus conjucting Uranus
Venus trines Moon
Uranus square AC
Neptune conj. Venus
Retro Mars in 7th house

What is going to happen?
