Message for aries sun:The moon represents your feelings and emotions... Think of it like this; the moon controls the patterns of tides all the oceans wide, your body being 80% or so water, is bound to be effected I hope this helps... ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit"

Yes? quote: Aries must be somewhere in your chart
Natal, no. Solar Return, yes. Moon & Mars. Fibbing, no. Drive, initiative, yes. Bit of a temper as a bonus. Also attracted a lot of Aries types, tons of Venuses, Moons, few Suns...I digress. quote: um.. he's a cancer, but i already saw your opinion on cancer suns just a minute ago..
I've only met one Cancer-Gemini. Pretty cool, but we only hung out a few times. According to my book, he's a great conversationalist, and I'd hate to dwell on the negative, but...he gets even. quote: Oh. It's good to know that Pope John Paul II, Sigmund Freud, Kafka, Dosteoyevsky, and Pasteur, were all really a bunch of loud, obnoxious, tactless, underhanded, and vicious gossips...
1. Now, now. No need to get snippy, and bring religion into this. We're having an abstract discussion after all. 2. Stories of the Pope's underhanded behavior are abound. 3. Wasn't Freud the Mentor who disowned his protege for stating astrology has some validity. 4. Jeffrey Dahmer did not have moon in Sagittarius. 5. Re: Saddam Hussein. Let's keep it light, shall we. However, to butcher your own people in the name of greed and ego is insincere? But to butcher your own and foreigners alike to maintain a certain standard of living in the name of democracy and freedom is sincerity? Let's no go there. IP: Logged |

In my own personal experience, some of the most dishonest, insincere, disloyal people I've ever met were(in order from least to worst): 6)Leo Sun & Aqua Moon(fibber, somewhat loyal) 5)Cancer Sun & Sag Moon(fibber, wishywashy loyalty based on how much attention they get) 4)Gemini Sun (don't know moon sign)(liar, shallow, out for self) 3)Leo Sun & Taurus Moon(very disloyal - left husband on death bed ) 2)Pisces Sun & Leo Moon (liar, cheater, thief, disloyal, out for self) 1)Scorpio Sun & Virgo Moon (pathological liar, cheater, deceptive just for the sake of being deceptive, not loyal to anything or anyone, downright scary) Most honest and loyal - Sun & Moon Aries, Sun Libra & Taurus Moon, Sun Sag & Moon in Aries, Sun Aries & Sag Moon. See a pattern here? Nope. Me neither. I think it's very individual. As for myself I'm a Virgo with an Aries Moon. I'm sincere and can't do or say something if my heart isn't in it. I can't lie to save my life and I feel physically ill when I sense someone else is being insincere. However, my loyalty is subject to change based on how I'm treated. If you treat me with disrespect, my loyalty to you is dead. Even if you're neutral we're cool. But bad treatment/disrespect, and all loyalty is dead. I don't owe you a thing. IP: Logged |

Unfortunately our sincerity is usually misinterperted as "a-hole-ishness," "Egotistical behavior," "Superficial views," and "arrogance." Yet in most cases, that is so far off from the truth. When Leo mooners are in a relationship, they are honest as to what they want and what they are gonna give in return. Not to mention they are usually generous with gifts and try to make the relationship quite a special experience for both themselves and their lovers. And they see eye-to-eye with their partners. They wouldn't be with someone if they didn't see them with the same powerful potential as their own .

Offtopic:Peachy and still high on sugar Lol! Still recovering a bit from yesterday's trip to the "Cavalcade of Lights" at downtown Toronto. Gosh it was amazing; A perfect setting for couples IMO. Had an amazing time with Babelicious (though we both were laughing our butts off tumbling and falling everywhere since she didn't know how to skate.) IP: Logged |

Hermes: I hope you read these as the geniune counterpoints they are meant to be, and not argumentative. A caveat is that transiting Mercury is conjunct my Mars, so I am trying to not come across as harsh!1. I think we can discuss a religious leader without bringing religion into it. We can look at their chart and their biographical information and refrain from making a call on their theology. 2. Even if you believe Pope John Paul II to have been "underhanded," he still could hardly be called "obnoxious," "tactless," or a "vicious gossip" (terms utilized by you to describe Gemini Moon men). 3. Freud didn't disown Jung over Astrology. They couldn't come to an agreement over the general unconscious (Freud) versus the personal/collective unconscious (Jung). Jung is the one who made the break from Freud over that, by the way. 4. Oops. That was a goof as I was looking at a report on the astrology of serial killers and wasn't careful. In any case, according to that astrological report, serial killers quite often have a Sagittarius Moon (combined with Gemini Sun is a frequent aspect). 5. Re: Saddam Hussein. We don't need to go into what he did to know he's hardly a paragon of "sincerity," right? My point is that you can't look at a Moon sign and make a correct determination that "Oh, this person will be truthful/sincere," or, "This person will be loyal." The Moon is a very important part of the chart, but it has to be read in conjunction with the whole chart to have meaning. Otherwise we're just saying "All Gemini Moons like to watch television," or, "All Sagittarius Moons like to read the newspaper," and so on - and the Gemini Moon person who can't stand television is wondering where the validity is in Astrology. Generalization doesn't apply to individuals. Xodian - I've always wanted to be lucky enough to be in Toronto during the Calvacade! Glad you had a good time. IP: Logged |

"a-hole-ishness," "Egotistical behavior," "Superficial views," and "arrogance."That's what I see of my Leo moon/Scorpio sun best friend sometimes. Otherwise, the loyalty is intense, even if I am mad or upset at someone over something stupid and impulsive of me, she'll be the first to say well if they hurt you, they hurt me so "f**k 'em!" ------------------ I love my Virgo <3 S: Aries ASC: Libra M: Cancer V: Taurus M: Gemini IP: Logged |

Perspective for each of us is very different. I might consider someone who conceals things "dishonest" while someone else may only consider a person who outright lies "dishonest." 8th IP: Logged |

But I find Gemini moons loud, obnoxious, tactless, underhanded, and vicious gossips... especially the men.>>>>>Well, I'm a female with Gem moon. I'm the opposite of loud! In fact, I love my quiet alone time, and I love longggg walks alone (well, with my dog). I detest gossip... I'm usually the one that would say "well, where did you HEAR that?" - a gossip killjoy I guess you could say haha. I wouldn't say I'm the most tactful...because I am very honest and straightforward. If you ask me how an outfit looks, I will tell you, and spare no feelings. IP: Logged |

I think Moon in Cancer is steadfast. They will stick it out to the very end... truly for better or worse. Doesn't matter if it is a lost cause or not. But as with any sign, they also have negative qualities like they seem to like to play emotional manipulation games, and use it mainly to control their partner, and keep them in line. Just my opinion. MM IP: Logged |

THE MOON AND TAURUS The Moon is exalted in Taurus, and the symbol for this sign is sometimes understood as a pictograph of the phases of the Moon, the celestial body linked to growth and fecundity. Whether we see the symbol of Taurus as the full Moon on which the crescent Moon is placed or the face and horns of the bull, the symbol describes the vigor of nature. The ever changing phases of the Moon harmonize with the quick changing thoughts and interests of this sign. The sidereal Taurean qualities of quick perception and adaptability happen naturally when the Moon is placed here. Neither Taurus nor the Moon functions well in an atmosphere of repetition or boredom—the exalted Moon in Taurus allows the mind to be fluid and receptive to new ideas and thoughts. However, the Sun in Taurus loses some of its characteristic stability and is not so good for solar affairs. In the sidereal zodiac, a planet in its exaltation sign is completely 'out front,' purely itself in every way. Studying the behavior of people with planets in their exaltation signs is one of the best ways to learn what a planet is really like. The Moon in sidereal Taurus gives us one of the best examples of the pure expression of the Moon in human psychology. Remembering that the Bull represents the season of spring, the exalted Moon in Taurus expresses these qualities: Sunlight and rain alternate in quick succession, but provide ideal conditions for the growth of new plants. New plants of thought sprout readily when planets lie in sidereal Taurus. Planets’ Strength and Weakness in the Signs of the Zodiac Moon - very strong in Cancer (the zodiac sign ruled by the Moon), strong in Taurus (the sign of the Moon's exaltation). Very weak in Capricorn (the opposite sign from the Moon's sign), weak in Scorpio (the sign opposite the place of the Moon's exaltation). IP: Logged |

...but seriously, i think Moon in Aries, or Leo. No other placement is as sincere as these. People might say Moon Cancer but although i rate this position it is too shy to always be sincere, and will often say something to keep the piece rather than actually mean it. The answer is 1st. Moon in Leo 2nd. Moon in Aries. Please lock the thread now. IP: Logged |
