SagSun unregistered	posted November 30, 2007 04:48 AM Since we already have a thread on our family's signs, I thought we should start one on our best friends' signs as well. So, what are the signs of your best friends? So, I guess I'll start then: Me: Sagittarius Sun/Leo Moon/Libra Venus/Pisces Rising Best friends in kindergarten/elementary school: Scorpio Sun/Virgo Moon/Virgo Venus Capricorn Sun/Capricorn Moon/Sagittarius Venus Best friends in high school: Capricorn Sun/Leo Moon/Sagittarius Venus Scorpio Sun/Virgo Moon/Scorpio Venus Cancer Sun/Pisces Moon/Leo Venus Best friends in college: Libra Sun/Sagittarius Moon/Virgo Venus Cancer Sun/Scorpio Moon/Cancer Venus I can definitely see a pattern here!!! All of my best friends had strong placements in earth or water. All but one of them were either Capricorn, Scorpio or Cancer Suns. Thinking back now, all of my friendships with the Scorpios were rather explosive. We fought A LOT. With the Capricorns it was more of an easygoing friendship. With the Cancer girls friendships were rather tiring for me because they would get upset easily and were extremely moody. Edit* I can't believe I forgot my SO as he is actually my best friend ... he has a Capricorn Sun/Pisces Moon/Aquarius Venus/Sagittarius Rising He fits into my pattern perfectly as he also has a Virgo stellium. Either friends with a Scorpio Sun and/or Ascendant or else women with Air Moons. In fact, every single female friend I've had (up until this year) has their Moon in Gemini, Aquarius or Libra. I've always thought that was funny. This year I'm collecting Earth Moon girlfriends. IP: Logged

My best friend since I was a baby is my cousin. I love her to death! Sag sun/Aqua moon/unk asc. The 4 girls I've been best friends with for the last 17 years are: Gem sun/Cap moon/unk. asc. Aries sun/Aqua moon/unk. asc. Sag sun/Gem moon/unk. asc. Leo sun/Cap moon/Leo asc. One of my good friends that I met at work 2 years ago is: Sag sun/Virgo moon/Cap asc. I prefer fire sign female friends...I've always gravitated toward them...air signs too. I've had a couple short term friendships with Scorps and one close friendship with a Pisces until she moved away. The fire signs are incredibly loyal in friendship. IP: Logged

But I know their moon signs � and I took a look at my chart-houses that are touched by their Suns/Moons. Yes, there are some �patterns�! I am CANCER Sun/ SAGITTARIUS Moon / SCORPIO Asc. (female) In my younger years I had the strongest affinity to LEO (my 9th house), AQUARIUS (my 3rd house) and LIBRA (my 11th house) people. I�m in my mid-thirties now, and I still get along well with LEO (9th), but I feel the strongest affinity to SAGITTARIUS (1st) and VIRGO (10th) now. The overall strong LEO-affinity may be rooted in my LEO-Mercury. Most striking pattern to me: All the women I have made friends with over the last years are SAGITTARIUS � only one exception to that (she�s a VIRGO-Sun). My moon is in SAG � in my 1st house. So there must be a strong �identification factor� with these five SAG-Ladies. They have either WATER- or EARTH-Moons (my own Venus is in VIRGO). My singular very best friend (female) of long standing is ARIES Sun (my 5th house)/ AQUARIUS Moon (my 3rd house)/ CANCER Asc. (my Sun-sign in my 8th house). As far as male friends are concerned, VIRGO-guys grew closer to me over the last years. Still some LEOs around � and always some PISCES-guys who seek to be close to me in one way or the other (but the affinity is not always mutual � although my IC and my NN are in Pisces!) Over all, my chart-houses mostly touched by my friendships are the 1st, 3rd, 9th, 10th and 11th. Interestingly there is NO significance concerning my 7th house! My DC is in late TAURUS, the rest of the 7th and the cusp of the 8th house are in GEMINI � but I NEVER had any closer contact, neither to a TAURUS-, nor to a GEMINI-person, neither friendship-wise, nor romantically. Probably because people have to be rather clingy to stay around me, because I don't cling at all. Except to guys I like(Cancer Mars, Gemini Venus lol). My best friends: #1 Cancer Sun/Taurus Moon- We had such a cool connection. Like partners in crime. I was always very comfortable around her, and had a lot of fun with her. Can't trust her with anyone or anything, but for a Gem who doesn't expect much except a good time from friends, I don't mind. #2 Cancer Sun/ Aries Moon- She's just plain clingy. Calls just to see if I'd answer the phone. But she'd do anything for her best friends. I had a close friend, I wouldn't call her a best friend, but she was a Gemini Sun/ Pisces Moon and we had the most fun. I knew her back in school. Whatever class we had together, we would sit in the back and pass a notebook back and forth. We'd write the dirtiest, funniest, silliest, meanest, stupidest stories about ppl we went to school with. They were great. But isn't that typical geminis? The whole writing part of it. Another best friend for many years was a Taurus with either Sag or Cap moon. Almost every single online best friend has been an Aries sun, with one exception who's a Gemini w/ Scorpio moon. So we're basically looking at Aries/Taurus/Gemini combinations overall. With the exception that my ex was also my best friend, and he's a Virgo stellium. Myself: Taurus sun Sag rising Scorpio moon Venus in Gemini Jupiter in Aries Seems like Jupiter and Sun are important to me when it comes to best friends - which seems very much like "having fun with people who 'get' me". With BUD my Gem/Scorp friend, the major thing between us is mutual understanding and empathy (primarily based on our moon signs) but other things too like Sun/Venus (we 'get' each other in all the Venusian matters). I have a Capricorn friend - we have always been "on and off" friends for years. That's just how we are. We fight and then make-up - even years later, as though nothing has changed.
