augentier - Ooh, you have some natal aspects I love: Sun-Mercury-Uranus-Neptune. You could be a creep for all I know, but I I like your chart very much.
So looks like he doesn't have a Moon-Mercury square (?), but considering your concern, I think he has something even better: a Mercury-Uranus trine. Those moments when he makes his "WTF?" eyes are probably moments of pure bliss for him.
As someone with a Mercury-Uranus aspect yourself, you probably also like the absurd and unusual, and would eventually be bored with someone too straight and narrow. If anything, my bet is that he enjoys the way you can surprise him. Sure, he probably doesn't want a complete weirdo, but a little weirdness probably bonds him and keeps him interested. So I wouldn't take those facial expressions as a rejection.
His Mercury-Uranus aspect can also explain the animated conversation style.

the first time we met and talked we talked about everything from how to make prison hooch to sex imagery in Disney movies to Lindsay Lohan to paranoid schizophrenia.
Yep, that's what'll happen when you throw 2 people w/ Merc-Ur natal aspects together. Good times.
One second you're talking about prison hooch and sex imagery in Disney movies, the next you're talking about prison sex and hoochie imagery in Disney movies. And they all seem like such natural things to discuss.
quote:
When we are together all my sexual/romantic interest in him (which is insanely STRONG) is almost masked by my absolute fascination with him, intellectually.
I can relate so much to this. It's such a gift to be very passionate about a person in multiple ways. Sublimation never felt so good.
As far as your Mercury synastry aspects go, I think the ones you're both most likely to feel are his Merc trine your Moon, and your Merc sextile his Pluto. The first b/c they're both personal planets, and the second b/c it's so tight and Pluto is personalized for him since it's the ruler of his Moon. The conj with Neptune could stimulate your imagination and/or make you find him hard to read or deceptive. Could also bring some of that Neptunian, unspoken understanding.
The Mercury-Pluto sextile could make psychological discussions normal for you two, where it almost feels like he's your therapist. Get a comfy couch and let the games begin.
Jupiter in your 3d builds on the comfort and talkativeness his trine to your Moon gives you.
About birth time...I remember someone here saying that she asks a person what his birth time is and whether he's a night or morning person, saying that she's testing her theory that those born during the night are night people. I thought that was clever, but I know I wouldn't be able to do that with a straight face. I'd feel like I had shifty eyes and that the person would know I was lying about my motivation. It's been so long since I've wanted someone's birth time without wanting them to know why, but back in the day, what worked for me was if there was a group of us near a computer, I'd go to a site that makes up birth charts and see if anyone was interested in doing theirs. I'd act like it was a casual, spur of the moment thing, but my Mercury in Scorpio would delight in everything going according to plan.
