Dear Friends,
The next New Moon forms on Sunday morning, December 9 at 9:40 AM PST at 17º16’ Sagittarius. This is quite an extraordinary time. From 11:11 PM PST December 7 to 10:51 AM PST December 10, there will be five major energies in Sagittarius, as the Moon aligns with the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and Pluto already in Sagittarius. The 9th sign in the zodiac is symbolized by the Archer, aiming for the heavens, for the point and purpose of life. Why are we here? Where are we going? What really matters? The Sun’s conjunction with the Galactic Attractor at 14º Sagittarius (a quasar-like anomaly with titanic gravitational forces) on December 6 and square to Uranus at 15º Pisces on December 7 adds to the impetus to “Think Different” and follow our inner guidance. This New Moon also squares the last Solar Eclipse (which occurred on September 11 at 18°25’ Virgo), urging us to move ahead on what began and/or became important three months ago.

On December 11, Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, forms an exact conjunction with Pluto at 28º24′ Sagittarius. The mythic Sky God and the Lord of the Underworld rendezvous only once every thirteen years; their last conjunction was on December 2, 1994 at 28º26′ Scorpio. Depending on one’s level of consciousness, a Jupiter-Pluto combination generates tremendous personal drive and/or great compassion for others. Bill Gates was born with a Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in Leo in his natal 2nd house; Mahatma Gandhi had a close Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in Taurus in his natal 7th house. This Jupiter-Pluto conjunction in Sagittarius offers tremendous tailwinds for transformation, as it forms close to the Galactic Center (GC) of our Milky Way galaxy. When any celestial body aligns with the GC, the radio, microwave, infrared and other electromagnetic rays streaming from the galactic core are focalized, triggering evolutionary leaps in consciousness. The potential for perceptual shifts and quantum leaps continue as the Sun makes its annual passage over the GC on December 18.

I'm saying a prayer now that my little daughter [Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Pluto in Sagi natally] doesn't wish for a moose or something equally odd. With this natal set-up and her determination, her wishes are likely to really come true!
