I hear this makes for quite a sexual person..a person who is in tune with his sexuality. What do you think? I'm curious to know what a person's Venus conjunct Mars in AQUARIUS indicates sexually..seems too detached, but with Taurus moon and Pisces sun thrown in..crazy mix. Anyway..so yeah..Venus-Mars, in Aquarius..what are you like?

Hi,
Venus in conjunction with Mars is never detached. It's intense, even in Aquarius.

my lovely masculine ruled female coworker has this venus mars conjunction in Aries also conjuncting my Mars in Aries. I have the hots for her but sometimes I think she is too masculine for me.. she talks acts and prolly thinks like a guy but looks like a semi beautiful girl.. venus mars conjunction in synastry indicates an intense aspect but a dynamic attraction. dynamic meaning change. at first we kinda clicked and then our egoes conflicted and we were a little bitter and now finally i think we are having fun working together and Im looking forward to it we make eachother laugh like crazy. Im not sure if she feels anything from these aspects but if I had to guess I would say I think shes got a thing for me.

I have Venus conjunct Mars in Taurus. Once I'm in love, I cannot detach myself. I become totally absorbed in that person, and I can be very intense about it.

I also find that I cannot be sexually attracted to anyone that I don't have genuine feelings for.

i have venus conj mars in 7th in gemini and i get easily obsessed when there is passion involved and have real trouble to let go afterwards. it seems i really have a hard time differentiating between possible love and a simple sexual affinity...

the other day i nearly laughed my head off as i read mars conj venus is so called with magi society SUPER SEXUAL ASPECT, with celebrities like madonna, warren beatty and jack nicholson as examples....

hmmmmmmmmmmmm?

i dont think though that this makes u overtly sexual as in frequent sex, i think mars venus has a major impact but on LOVE relationships, or so believe astrologers i have read... so probably people with this aspect are extremely passionate and it will manifest dependng on the house and on the other aspects...

Yeah I think venus-mars conj would differ depending on the sign and house. In the 5th a need for play and romance especially when in libra, and also highly creative. In the 10th house emphasing energy invested in career and also love relationships through work and creative work. Aquarius mars/venus conjuction would be a person who values their independence and would value friendship in their romantic relationships.
I would say intense about their need for independence,

deux i think in libra it might be not so fiery because libra is the sign of fairness and equilibrium so it might mean u dont go over the top so much... supposedly!

it might mean u are really really romantic when it comes to love, fun and are passionate about children and ur identity!

I personally found venus/mars people to be somewhat competitive/athletic types. And, almost always easy to look at

I'm interested in the other side of this aspect, as in can it indicate a love of violence or a proclivity towards sadism?

Anyway, assuming the sexual interpretation, the sign is the way you express the planetary energy, so in Aqua.. I don't know.. in a rather quirky way?

Body movements are supposed to be beautiful with this conjunction, and sporting prowess enhanced too.

Hi Seeing Stars,
the competitivity comes from Mars conjunct Mars, and I read that it not a good aspect to have, and that it may indicate violence in a love relationship.

I also have venus-mars conjunct sun in aries in 7th house, I think it makes one passionate, and competitive, but not necessarily atheltic, could tell you a thing or two about my laaazy moon in taurus and libra asc

luv light u reckon mars conj venus are beautiful people?

stargazers it is funny because in another forum i visited they said once this aspect gives extremely sensual and feminine women so wonder where mars stays then? surely mars would bend the more peaceful venus?

maira my venus c mars is also in 7th, how have u experienced this? because saturn is also there so it might make me more restrained...........

"surely mars would bend the more peaceful venus?"

Venus has her own techniques for getting her own way, powerful ones.

I think Mars and Venus are like opposing signs who possess the same power but who utilize the power in different ways, like two equal vectors travelling in opposing directions. They complement each other in a way. Yin and Yang... no?

Wild sheep, are you talking about self-pollination?

Yes, pollination, that's what I meant...

...no, seriously. I'm sure it looks funny to those who don't have the conjunction. In my life, it represents a frustrating problem. For the most part, I don't see the need for a partner.

uh, oh, now you made me remember some guy I made out with when I was about 14, and he told all of our friends afterwards that I wasn't a virgin, and everyone asked in disbelief : so you banged her?? Noo, but I can tell, for sure
Me, an innocent, sweet pure girl (at the time )

winky, I think the fact that the conjunction is in house 7 means that I tend to put the significant other's needs above my own, but they are also conjunct sun...

I also work better and negociate better for someone, not for myself. My ex-husband's income quadrupled in the 6 years we were together, it's true we were young, but he does have a liberal profession, and I think my advice and support helped him to acheive his true potential.

The planets in 7th are supposed to mean the qualities you disown, and subsequently attract in your life i.e. Saturn, you supposedly lack discipline and attract a father figure to discipline you.
This is not true in my case, since Mars is my chart's final dispositor, and it would be hard not to acknoledge it's presence, but I can easily make others shine (sun) or feel beautiful (venus)

wild sheep - im really curious - what do you mean?

i know a guy w Venus conjunct Mars in Aries and he's really detached from his relationships - its all sex for him and he doesnt want a partner

i feel like venus conjunct mars really magnifies the qualities of the sign its in - he's outgoing, in your face in an Aries way, charming and very direct... but also doesn't care about partnerships and *despises* the idea of being "jailed" into a relationship.

I see each planet modifying each other here - Venus becomes a bit more like Mars (upfront, not committed, etc) and Mars becomes and bit more like Venus (graceful, the movements are pleasant, beautiful, the actions are endearing)... in Aries the effect is multiplied toward the Mars side

i think the conjunction in a sign like Taurus or Scorpio, for which Venus and Mars are secondary rulers, there is a different effect- less detachment, and less focus on the not wanting to be in relationships and more aggressiveness toward what is desired, and ones possessions.

I mean I think sex is kinda a stupid waste of my time. Orgasm—yay! Sex—why bother? I've tried to incorporate other people into my sex life, not because I wanted to, but because I felt I "should" (ie; was pressured into doing so by society, peers, etc). Those encounters really did not work out. And I've never had pleasure through sex with a partner that is anywhere near as satisfying as what I can do for myself. That's just the way it is. I think the Venus-Mars hook-up in my chart best reflects this; there's a way to interpret it as "in love (or lust) with self."

Years ago I was in a relationship with a Taurus who had Venus conj Mars in Aries (in his 1st house). It opposed Pluto in his 7th.

So I guess it would seem like that conj in Aries would make him selfish, but he wasn't. Not in a straightforward way, at least. But now that I think more about it, his selfishness was in how he needed to feel like he pleased someone else before he'd be happy. That turned me off a bit, b/c I could sense his impatience and how my own happiness was about him, more than about me just being happy.

This was most obvious sexually, but he expressed it more subtly in social situations too. He's truly a good person and kind-hearted and would want people to be happy and comfortable, but you could feel the pressure that he was waiting for you to have a good time so that he could then relax and have a good time.
