Well, I`d think the aspect between 8th house ruler and 1st house ruler should be a strong one.Yet, maybe this works only with the new rulers, not the old rulers?
Or maybe there should rather be a connection between 8th and 2nd house?
Hmm, I`m not sure about this. Did you check how you fit into each other`s chart, judging fromt he DSC, Planets in 7, ruler of 7 in Sign and house?
Well, maybe the constellatons of 5th house could be interesting, too? EDIT:
What I mean is something like this: My Ruler of 7th house AND the ruler of 5th house are both in my 1st house - the Aries / Mars-house, which explains some of the attracction Aries-people hold for me. Now that singer has Aries intercepted in his 1st house, so that might be a reason for a basic attraction that I feel for him, because his 1st house (or Sun or Moon or Mars) fit my 7th-house needs and my 5th house needs. For me it is like this:
1. natals show a potential for basic attraction
2. synastry show if that potential finds expression and how
3. progressions and transits point to moments in time, when it is possible to lift those dormant natal and synastric connections into consciousness. Maybe a relationship can only be formed, if aspects exists of all levels? Example:
1. natal: her 7th house ruler in 1st house - she wants a Mars-type; he Aries in 1st house - he IS a Mars-type
2. synastric: her 7th house ruler conjuncts his 1st house ruler - this is like a Venus-Mars-conjunction, and it surely itensifies the dormant natal basic attraction from her to him
3. progressions / transit: Transit Uranus is squaring the exact midpoint of the conjunction of her 7th house ruler and his ASC-ruler, and therefore this aspects "awakes". IP: Logged |

meta_4. It's not the only indicator but experienced astrologers including Linda said that it may point to that.wait... lemme check first. It reads on Linda Goodman's Relationship Signs: "In a love or marital relationship, Venus will experience some kind of sorrow or hurt initiated by Saturn either intentionally or involuntarily, through the interference of others..." It says more but I am too tired to type so read pg 67 of Linda Goodman's Relationship signs, under the topic Love Aspects. The great unrequited love of my life. I've never quite been able to figure it out, but our 7th and 8th house rulers are loosely conjunct, his 7th and 8th house rulers are pretty close to my descendant, and his 5th house ruler trines my Mars and Pluto (which is my 5th house ruler). What gives?I wonder if the outer planet rulerships of the relationship houses require super tight orbs in order to mean anything. I know most of my personal planets are in his 9th, but my Mars is in his 8th, my Saturn in his 7th, and my North Node is in his 5th. I wonder if his Venus exactly on my South Node has a larger role to play. Or maybe it's that my moon/Venus conjunction is receiving only squares... except the sextile to his Venus! I'm inside, he's outside. He ended up marrying a Virgo sun/Cap moon and they have an adorable Aries sun/Virgo moon girl now.

i don’t think there’s a pattern for such a thing. it’s individual. sometimes a person just don’t like you back.
let me check now some synastries with unrequited love.with one guy i didn’t like back - we have even asc/ic and mc/dsc conjunction, his sun and moon in my 4H, we have 5H and 8H overlays and eventually he even ended up ******* me off because he takes too much drugs and is very embarassing to be around once we actually went to hang out. if there even was a crush, it was for a fleeting moment only from my side and he was pretty obsessed with me. the other guy is someone i liked and he didn’t like
me back. we have a lot of oppositions between personal planets, which i find very good and favorable and oppositions usually give me “my other half feeling” but clearly not for him.
and my current crush shares many oppositions with me as well and the feeling is mutual, even tho we argue and clash egos. so it has to be looked at individially i believe. IP: Logged |
