So I have been told both that a Composite chart is what the relationship is like between two people AND I have been told that it's how OTHER PEOPLE see your relationship-and therefore not how it actually is...

... So which is it?

Oh, And what's the frickin difference between a Composite and a Davison Relationship Chart?

So many questions!!

The Composite chart is the chart of the relationship. The Composite Ascendant is how other people see it.

Davison and Midpoint composite charts are read the same way, they are just derived differently. Midpoint composites are constructed by taking the midpoint of each individual planet between you and the other person. Davison charts are constructed by finding the midway birthdate and time and location between you and the other person's birthdays, birth times and birth locations.

Ah, ok. Thanks very much.

What is more accurate when reading a relationship then? Would you say...? In y'alls experience...?

I don't have a lot of experience with either, but I've used the midpoint chart more. But, I'm kinda wondering this, too...see my post:

This is how it works in my experience:

The synastry shows how 2 peoples energy fields interact. It shows what happens when the auras intermingle so its especially powerful when the people concerned are standing in the same room.

The composite chart shows the Dharma (purpose and duty) of the relationship. The dharma or higher purpose of the relationship will not really be actualised unless the people involved can handle their synastry. So often the composite chart will not make sense as a reading of the relationship, because people get stuck in the synastry.
