i would love to know any of the members experience with this transit.my mom is having one and its turning out to be the worst phase of her life.

My mom was diagnosed with Crohns in last september.since then we have consulted 3 others to confirm .but so far all have concurred. thing is no one her family has it, heck our genetics itself are alien to Crohns. we have ulcerative colitis instead. this has led some other doctors who are acquaintances to raise doubts.

on the other hand her condition is worsening. the doctor recently recommended surgery for fissure in her anus. she complains of unbearable pain all the time.

this is tearing our family apart

when i looked at Geocosmic Valentines reading...

http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum11/HTML/000228.html

quote:
Pluto rules your mother’s 12th house health center. Jupiter rules her 1st house health center.

Pluto (and Scorpio) rules the lower regions of our bodies, the colon, rectum, anus, genitals; our personal underworld. Saturn rules the skin, bones, teeth, things being “hardened” “stones”, drying things, freezing things, tremendous control. Transiting Saturn is currently in Virgo about to conjunct her natal Pluto for the 3rd and final time.

First hit: October 7, 2007
2nd Hit (Saturn RX): March 8, 2008
3rd Hit: June 26, 2008

But I’m sure she’s feeling it now.

the first satrun hit was when she got diagnosed with Crohns
the second hit coincided with an anal fistula getting diagnosed and surgey recommended

now the thirs one is approaching but she is not physically so much as mentally , emotionally and spiritually breaking apart....and there is not much i can do...which sucks

has anyone delth with tr.Saturn conuunct natal Pluto ???

how did u deal and what problems came up ?

Hi VenusDeIndia,

I'm so sorry to hear that you and your family, especially your Mom, are really having such a difficult time. I have had experience with Pluto-Saturn hard aspects, most of us have, but I guess we didn't know it until we learned astrology.

My mother went through this recently, however, Saturn rules her 7th House of the spouse and Pluto rules her 5th of romance, sexuality, creativity house. Her Saturn is located in Leo in her 2nd House of Self-Worth/Finances.

Her husband was 15 years older than her and had been very ill with many ailments from his heart, to his kidneys from 1999 onward. He slowly declined and passed away when transiting Saturn conjuncted her Pluto. Saturn made 3 hits to her Pluto within a span of 2 years. First her husband died, then she had to deal with closing their home and all the business issues that occur when a loved one dies. She had to do it with no family members present because they lived in a very remote part of the country and she had to rely on friends in her church to help her.

She ended up having to let her house go into forclosure (2nd House issue) and then she moved back near her family and her youngest brother died from Cancer 9 months after her husband. The experience of her brother dying was more devestating for her than her husband because, not that it should be measured, but her husband being in decline for so long made it more of a relief when he crossed over than it was for her brother who was only 53 years old and he was her closest sibling.

The positives of the measurement expressed itself as her having the incredible strength and resourcefulness to take care of everything that needed to be handled, she made sure that she was with her brother through out the entire process of his hospice and she was with him when he died. It made him incredibly happy that she was going to be with him until the end, it was a blessing for him and her. Her grieving process has been difficult but she also discovered that she had incredibly reserves of strength that she never knew she had.

Some key words that popped up within my writing this all suggest characteristics of Saturn and Pluto together.

Lonliness - she did much of this alone.

Church - her friends in the church and her faith were of tremendous help to her.

Strength - Pluto and Saturn completely represents building muscle. First muscle must be torn down before it can be rebuilt anew and stronger.

Incredibly Hard Work - dealing with two major deaths in two different parts of the country mostly alone is incredibly hard work, but she was some how given the strength and resourcefulness to get through it.

Loss - even with so much hard work, it is inevitable that there will be some kind of loss whether it is death, or her house, or a goal doesn't come to fruition, whatever, it's the cold hard truth of Saturn-Pluto.

But I want to remind you of the positives once again. Look at Arnold Schwartzeneggar, his power with his muscles and his power as a governor. He has a pronounced Saturn-Pluto conjunction (along with Jupiter) in his 1st House of health and identity. If the country allowed it, he could become president, no doubt in my mind. He's a symbol of that Saturn-Pluto energy.

In the U.S. you cannot become president without strong Saturn-Pluto in your 1st House, 9th, 10, or 11th house. Unfortunately, if the birth certificate of Barak Obama is correct, my bet is that he won't become the next president. However, John McCain has Pluto placed in the right spot. Oh well.

But I talk about presidents because that is the kind of power that you weild when Saturn and Pluto come together. It's not comfortable, it lonely and cold, but it's powerful and it doesn't last forever.

When I've gone through these times and I'm looking down the barrel at it once again (grrr) you must gather every detail of your day that had some joy or interest even in the smallest of ways. I've done the "10 Good Things That Happened Today" list, just to prove that God is in the details and that something happy or wonderful happens everyday, even if I laughed at a little joke or saw a beautiful bird out of the window. Those are the little signs that Higher Power is with us through these most difficult of times and soul lessons.

I feel like your mother is reconstucting her deepest soul identity and unfortunately that comes with destroying the original identity in order for it to be rebuilt. It's not easy to experience or watch, all you can do is be there for her when she needs you. It can help to ease the lonliness of the process.

I'm praying for you and your family, VenusDeIndia.

Hi, Venus!

I'm so sorry to hear your family is going through such trouble . I hope the 3rd passing of Saturn over Pluto will bring a positive change. Perhaps it isn't Crohn's - after all, in some cases it's hard to tell the difference between it and ulcerative colitis.

My family has been affected by this transit too. My father has Pluto @18 Leo, mother @19 and my aunt @21 Leo. Saturn passed over their Plutos in 2006 and 2007, and this is when my grandmother became very sick and the 3 of them had to take care of her (my grandmother is the mother of my father and aunt). At the same time, they dealt with an unpleasant court action, which was also caused by my grandmother's actions. She died last week, when retro Pluto conjuncted my father's Moon at 0 Capricorn, and my own Moon at 29 Sagittarius. I think it is also relevant that all 4 of us had Saturn or Pluto or both in the 8th house, either by transit or progression.

My father has natal Saturn at 2 Libra, so he'll also have the square from transiting Pluto to natal Saturn in 2009 (Saturn rules his 1st house, and Pluto is currently transiting his 12th). I am concerned about him, I am afraid he might become sick too. I am worried because he has a very self-destructive life-style... and I think it is catching up to him.
The best thing we can do is be strong for our parents and hope for the best. You and your family are in my thoughts, Venus!

This is an important period for the ~'83 generation, the ones who have a Saturn-Pluto conjunction natally in late Libra/early Scorpio, because both Saturn and Pluto have been sextiling it by transit. I know these are soft aspects, but they're character-builders still and they will help us surmont whatever difficulties we are facing.

[edit] Ok, just looked at your chart and you were born in '82 . I apologize for my confusion, I have mistaken you for an '83-er.

My sympathies to your mom, venusdeindia. I have a digestive disease myself similar to Crohn's, which developed when transiting Pluto conjuncted my Scorpio Moon in the 6th a few years back, so I can sort of relate to your mom's problems.

My specialist runs an organization called the Canadian Society of Intestinal Research. Here is their page pertaining to Crohn's Disease. It maybe of some assistance to you and your mom.

http://www.badgut.com/index.php?contentFile=crohns&title=Crohn's%20Disease
and here is Ulcerative Colitis http://www.badgut.com/index.php?contentFile=ulcerative_colitis&title=Ulcerative%20Col itis

Best wishes to her and her health.

Back in late 2005 and early 2006, my dad had Saturn (limitations, sorrows, solidification and precipitation) go over his Pluto (transformation, slow growth, eliminative systems) and Mercury (communication, short journeys) conjunction in the early degrees of Leo in his 11th house of circumstances beyond your control. Mercury is the ruler of his Ascendant (Virgo) and his 10th house of career and status (Gemini). Scorpio rules his 3rd house of speaking, writing, car trips and local environment.

He was diagnosed with aggressive stage II cancer of the bladder due to the use of hair dyes for 25 years. He required surgery to remove his bladder, prostate and to resection his intestines to create a stoma. The recovery period was three months during which time he was off work, communicated less, did little driving and was very tired and run down. He did not require chemo because the lymph nodes were not involved, and the cancer was caught before it metastasized. As of today, he is doing well.

Myself and the rest of my peers will be experiencing Saturn conjunct Pluto and Uranus in Virgo later this year and next year as well. I'm not particularly looking forward to it, but maybe some good things will happen as a result of this transit.

I'm sorry that your mom is going through this. I don't have much to contribute in the way of experiences that I can recall - but I have Pluto (Libra, 11th) square Saturn (Cancer, 7th) natally; I've never really looked into this aspect and how it applies to me but it seems like nothing good really. Also I and many others will be experiencing the Saturn conjunction to natal Pluto in the coming years so I am a bit nervous about this, especially since Scorpio rules my 12th house (and Capricorn rules my 2nd house). It also makes me wonder if, since both Saturn and Pluto aspect my natal Jupiter, my 1st house will be affected as well. (And yes I'm considering the possibility of Scorpio-related health problems... maybe I should take heed and get my health in good order while I can).

A little OT, but Geocosmic Valentine...Ronald Regan didn't have either Saturn or Pluto in his 1st, 9th, 10th, or 11th houses. Neither did Gerald Ford, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Andrew Johnson, Abraham Lincoln, or George Washington.

Thanks, Wildsheep. Maybe I should have said "Most U.S. Presidents" but now I'm not even sure about that. Thanks for doing the research, I was actually just speaking off the cuff of something I checked out around the year 2000 when that exciting election between Bush and Gore was going on. I was going by someone elses research and must have morphed it into "all presidents" or something like that.

So, HEAR YE, HEAR YE! NOT ALL THE PRESIDENTS HAVE THAT SATURN OR PLUTO IN THE 9TH, 10TH, 11TH OR 1ST HOUSE.

Phew, that's a relief because I want Obama to win.

VenusDeIndia,

Your Mom will find her strength also. I think every aspect, no matter how difficult, has some kind of silver lining, or a vein of gold and the strength and power of this one is the silver and gold the Saturn-Pluto hard aspect. Please keep us updated as to how she's doing and how you're doing around the situation. There are a lot of prayers going out to you and your family from around the world now, maybe that's one of the silver linings of this aspect. Pluto is power, Saturn is organized religion - powerful prayers.

ok....now we are testing her for Rheumatoid arthritis...its an autoimmune disease si it often acompanies other autoimmune diseases like crohn's and colitis...

so far she has been compalinig of pain, swellings thru out her body..even in her chest area. when i googled it came up that arthritis can also hit the heart and the lungs
so we are testing her now.
i believe that diseses have metaphysical causes..so i looked up arthritis.it says " Believing that ur suport structure is painful "

now Saturn represents our structure in life doesnt it ?

god almighty

I have Saturn conjunct pluto in libra in my first house. I think I have this crazy amount of physical strength and determination to get herever i want to be. Physically I have a very strong structure and strong bones, probably due to drinking a litre of milk every day for 27 years lol. This isn't a bad placement at all. I feel it very much in my first house. When others crumble and fail we can withstand any pressure or succumb anything. Yeah were. It bothered but I know my year is different to the rest of my generation. Were tougher. It's hard to explain I guess. I don't believe it makes you sick or that it's an illness aspect. It's power and determination combined.

Transiting Saturn is conjunct my Pluto in 1st 8 minutes separating. It's sextiling my Neptune now.

I feel the transit had to do with the power, control issues with my former vice president/secretary of my non profit.

Saturn is now conjuncting my Pluto in Libra (house 8), sextiling my Neptune in Sagittarius (house 11),
trine my Sun and Mercury in Aquarius (house 1)

I'm already feeling paranoid about a lot of things.

what can I expect?

Someone I know who is going thro' Saturn conjunct Pluto in Libra in house 12, got promoted unexpectedly to a higher post earlier than expected.

Is there a possibility that this could be a good transit for me?

Hey jacque, been through this recently and believe me it could be OK. Actually been through a lot of drastic transits of late so i wouldn't know whether it is exactly this one that is responsible but i did get a couple of opportunities for a career rise. I didn't take them is another matter.

I had this back in Sept of 2010 in my 1st house. I can't remember anything specifically happening by the time it made an exact conjunction - maybe some trouble at work?

The worst time was when Saturn backed up over my ASC the first week of May 2010. Pluto then was squaring my natal pluto, ASC & Sun and a few degrees past my north node. Uranus was also opp my ASC & Pluto. Rather than health issues, I experienced a wave of losses. My pet was killed, the guy I was dating broke up with me, and I had a web venture hacked and stolen out from under me. All in about 5 days time and the whole time I was on the road, traveling like crazy. There was also construction going on w/ my house (Pluto transiting 4th) and ongoing issues there and with a neighbor.

So...I probably didn't feel it too badly 4 months down the road when Saturn actually conjuncted my Pluto exactly. (I also have Saturn sq. Sun & Pluto natally.)

One year later and things have calmed down significantly. (Or maybe I am just used to it by now?) lol

having just had invasive camera up and down can sympathise. Can you post your mothers chart with progressions and transits please?

"The main theme tends to be facing responsibility in the face of corruption. This is a time when you have to concentrate your interests more deeply and narrowly, most often because you are going through a financial burden or some other kind of shortage. This is also a time to get rid of any rules and regulations that do not adequately meet the demands that you are experiencing. Many of the habits that you have grown used to, simply do not apply anymore. You may have to live with austere circumstances for a while. The authorities may not be dependable, or may be corrupt." http://www.astrology-x-files.com/transits/saturn-cj-pluto.html

Can you post the chart please with progressions and transits in the one chart, reduce the orb ratio down to 85%.

12th house does not rule health, per se but the house of confinement.... 6th house rules health and Asc physical body...
