With aquarius rising I notice a sort of natural grace.The taste in clothes is distinctive...but not always outre as the stereotypes would have it.The clothes are not always designer threads but there is a sense of stlye....style not fashion...so something individualistic.IP: Logged |

Well, our rising sign may to some degree describe the way we appear, but not the way we look. Hair colour, eye colour etc can not be defined by our rising sign. I believe it could describe the "energy" of our appearence, hard to explain... 
Im a Aries Rising, IE: my appearence got a Mars energy.

I believe our apperance is effected by our Sun, Ascendant, and Venus. And if there is a certain element that you have a lot of in your chart your obviously going to appear more to that element or sign. IP: Logged |

Asc, Chart rulers, dwads 1st planet houses are terribly important. Everything affects our appearance but go look at the aries rising research for the tests so far...IP: Logged |

taurus rising here as well... no tendency of putting on weight, quite the contrary. i love clothes but i'm against paying for the brand. also, i am not a gourmet and can't sing if my life depended on it. IP: Logged |

Bumped this post because I saw a pic of Rocco Ricthie(Guy Ricthie and Madonna's son).I immediately thought he has to have Taurus rising. That neck of his is thick as f***. But no, he is Gem Asc with Jup is conj his House 1 and Pluto opp from the Dsc. Typically Plu and Jup do give an imposing physique when on the Asc. But this is not the case here. He is 1.70 m. So he aint very tall. But you can tell with Pluto/Jup worked more on his breadth than height as his physique aint exactly skinny. It doesnt look like he works out much(yet). But he is chunky( which I attribute to the Jup/Plu opp mix). His waistline is wide and if it wasn't for Saturn conj Asc from the 12th and conj Jup,he would be fat or heavy set. But Saturn has a way of restraining/ postponing that weight gain. So he may be fortunate that the weight may not be an issue for some time until older. What intrigued me however is that I immediately saw Tau with him(Venus ruled). When i looked closer,his Venus is in Virgo and squares his Asc/Dsc axis tightly. Bingo. There is Chi in Sag in 7th opp its own ruler (Jup) & squaring Ven. There could be an issue here with relationships or being well received by others. Something pertaining to intellect because Gem/Sag and Virgo are involved. Plu co-rules his 6th and is in his 7th. Venus is in Virgo square Sat/Jup/Plu. Chiron in 7th square Jup/Ven conj Plu. Mercury conj Mars in Leo . He is into "Virgo" types or may meet his mate via his occupation. Maybe someone who works under his command? Something about the mate will likely represent Chiron. Maybe they are "troubled" and he comes to "fix" them OR they are self deprecating in some way. IP: Logged |
