Solar return charts for 2008. I googled what cities they were in on their birthdates, and found it sorta interesting.

The 10th house Pluto action is interesting. It's a shame there aren't many replies on this thread, or maybe that's good, the arguing about who has the best P.R angle and party affiliation, sorry, I mean policies, is raging elsewhere. IP: Logged |

in obamas boston solar return: pluto tightly conj the 4th house, and jupiter in the 4th, point to a move of some kind. with a jupiter emphasis, expansion...moving into a bigger place for sure in the upcoming year. moon(home) opposing uranus, promises a move for sure. libra rising, will attract people more to him, it will be easy to seek the approval of others. very social year. uranus in the 6th shows an unusual job, or a job out of the ordinary. president is definitely an unusual job. sun conj mercury- a year of big ideas, very talkative, easy to get his point across, pluto in the 3rd helps although its near the 4th.....moon, mars, and saturn in the 12th point to secret enemies in his life(obviously many people would like for him to not exist sadly) mars shows he'll be aggressive behind the scenes at work(virgo), moon in virgo for the year shows a lot of work, it will be a year without much rest, will always be on the go to get things done.(still editing, will be back later)(edited to add- too lazy to finish)IP: Logged |

Interesting! I'm not sure what it means, though. Still, this reminds me that the planetary positions were supposed to mean revolution, or were the same as the American Revolution or some such. That is, it could mean one or more major nations becomes defunct. One astrologer suggested that there would be no 2008 election because of this, or that it wouldn't matter at any rate. Btw, the other thread has been up for days. It takes longer than 2 and a half hours for comments to begin to flow, especially when we have such detailed and intriguing charts. I myself didn't see this until a few hours ago and then I didn't have that much time to read it all, and I wanted more time to study the charts. But I expect (and look forward to) some very interesting comments to be added to what's already here from our more expert astrologers after they've had time to digest this info (and probably double check them using their own resources). Ty for posting this! IP: Logged |

quote: PLUTO IN THE TENTH HOUSE OF THE SOLAR RETURN - Brings great activity. Could be slightly disorganized activity if there is a malefic aspect to Pluto. Increases your ambitions.
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/5/25/1111285/Solar%20Return%20Book.pdf It's Square Mercury CNJ Venus, quite close by orb. Not sure that is great for getting a message across.
And Sun CNJ Saturn in the 7th, house of open enemies.
quote: It is very restrictive, delays good things and brings unhappiness. It is fortunate only if the NATAL ASC is in Capricorn and if Saturn and the Sun IN THE NATAL do not have one unfavorable aspect.

my friend whos been an astrologer for over 9 years, has told me its a toss up, which to be honest, im glad to hear. thanks for the info, blue. open enemies part is obvious in politics. transit wise, saturn is going thru his 12th, hes going thru some negative heavy transits.IP: Logged |

Such as? I can't find any "negative heavy transits" to his natal placements, but I only had a fairly quick glance. If I'm looking at the right chart, Obama will have Saturn entering his 8th house soon. And Neptune squaring his MC. IP: Logged |
