I think DD was one of the first (if not THE first) to start a thread about them. I have seen them work in synastry to the degree that it is clear that they are significant.

I thought I would start a thread which tries to do two things: include as many links to Draconic chart interpretation as possible as well as offer people a chance to discuss their *natal* Draconics. Just like when you start studying astrology, you begin by studying your own chart and it might make it easier to understand Draconics if we start with out own charts and how we interpret our findings.

draco ASC in my natal 1st house
ASC TO MIDPOINT VENUS/SATURN
Hiding one's light, shyness, withdrawing, fear of not being accepted.
VE/SA=AS To hinder the inclinations of others. To quit others. To be forsaken.
So my depressing ;-) love life hinders my “karmic” persona (ASC) to shine!

draco SUN in my natal 9th house
SUN TO MIDPOINT MERCURY/VENUS
Awareness of things beautiful; the arts; sunny disposition. An art which can be of practical use, particularly sculpture, architecture; recognition.
ME/VE=SO Personal meeting or greeting of friends or new acquaintances. Love of one's own body. Vanity. Taste for plastic arts.
SUN TO MIDPOINT VENUS/MARS
A strong physical love; artistic power of creation; marriage, conception.
VE/MA=SO Sexual love of the body. Determination to marriage. Procreation. To be bodily together with intimate friends or blood relatives. Male relatives.
SUN TO MIDPOINT SUN/MC
Individual recognition; potential glory; usually successful; fulfilment.
So I can live out my draco/karmic being by indulging in the arts (exchange “sculptures” by “words” and “music”, and here we go) - and also by being a hell of a “lover” – hu-hu ;-).

Renunciation of one thing and adoption of another to fulfil needs better. Sadness or melancholy, impressionability, getting depressed too easily. Suffering from members of the female sex.
MC/SA=MO To avoid or to deny public appearance. To separate from others. The frame of mind due to the separation from a woman.
Difficult to get a clue on this one … obviously my “karmic” emotions do receive stressful signals from the burdens of my actual professional life …

MERCURY TO MIDPOINT SUN/URANUS
Presence of mind, quick and prudent acting, sudden flashes of cognition, seeing things too analytically for comfort. A young reformer; making arrangements.
SO/UR=ME To comprehend fast. A day filled with news, calls messages. To have spontaneous ideas. Quick and vivid thinking. To give orders suddenly. To be excited while speaking or writing. A rescue team present at an accident.
MERCURY TO MIDPOINT MERCURY/PLUTO
The ability to persuade; communicating new perspectives.
I’m quite good and quick with words – so I have the feeling that I am acting out my draco-Mercury in real life to 100%!;-)

So … a rather fickle and dreamy (illusionary?) love life full of variety seems to be predestined for me… ? Hm. But my natal Juno is in steady Taurus! And my natal Venus in down-to-earth and reasonable Virgo!!!

In fact, I am able to recuperate and start anew even after the worst break-downs… I never lose faith completely and can endure quite an amount of obstacles and delays…I am also one who can stand on her own and make it alone, if necessary.

Ouch, ouch, ouch … I don’t like THIS subtlety of course. Indeed … it has always been me who said “goodbye” in relationships … I am very good in saying: “Okay, we have to part”…. I also got cheated on, in a few relationships – but never cheated myself. “Protecting one’s position” – I must admit, that rings a (unwelcome) bell in mind …

Yikes! I have moved more often than any other person I know, I’ve lived in 5 different cities during the last 14 years, in about 9 different appartments … “high probability of geographic relocation” – in this regard, “karma” definitely has a hold on me! I tend to look for my luck afar … where the grass … always seems greener;-) I am also very good at improvising in my job and in other matters….

Gosh – my draco-Neptune is a mean one!!! I cannot understand this – because the opposite seems to be true in my actual life: My Moon, cj. my draco-Neptune, is in optimistic Sagittarius, I am rather the adventurous type, a lover of life … and at several times I have proven that I am courageous enough to face life’s obstacles … But maybe I must be careful … to not overestimate my optimism … and … die one day by risking too much??? Death by foolhardiness???
