You can find a cookbook breakdown aspect by aspect on here: http://members.wizzards.net/~magyan/aspects.htm
scroll down and look them up by the fastest moving planet first.
There's a list on here too, but I like it less:

I know we are dealing with esoteric matters but a bit of plain English aids understanding.
quote:
Mars quintile Neptune: Finding stylized ways of expressing a love of idealistic and sympathetic action; developing skill in activities which involve subordinating one's individuality to a common cause.
O.K ~ are they trying to say compassion, charity work? If so why don't they say so?
I was going to say yes to Quintiles, I have Mars Quintile Jupiter CNJ Neptune. Mars in the 3rd in Aqua, Jupiter/Neptune in Sag in the 1st.
For me personally I feel this is creative potential I need to tap into and use. The pull towards esoteric and spiritual endeavours, well here I am on Lindaland. I'd find it hard to break down why I like astrology. It's like why do I love someone? Well either I do or I don't, there isn't really a reason. It just is. I don't really question it, I do it ~ that's Mars with this combination though, isn't it? I stumbled into that answer but it seems apt.
On here it says Quintiles shows where we are driven, and compulsive:

I'd put up with a lot in life but I'd struggle without some form of intellectual or creative endeavour. That's the other side of this ~ the need to express my ideas, not so much feelings, my view of the world. If that makes sense?
If you see my chart, Jupiter/Neptune is in a nasty T-Square featuring an Opposition to Saturn. I think the Quintile helps out here to get that lazy conjunction activated, as it is getting hammered by Saturn and it does struggle.
I read a degree in Philosophy as a teenager. Not the popular choice in Thatcherite Britain. But I loved Religious Studies at school, that's how I got into that. Putting abstract ideas into words. That's this Quintile.
Just some first thoughts on my Quintiles, the wizzard link I do recommend. It has Ceres and Chiron aspects too if you are interested.
