This has been a very strange year.. So far this year I have met 3 men with strong past life connections or possible soul mates but they have all been involved with other people.. What is going on here. So far in my life, Im 34, Ive only been deeply in love once and he was married. And Im not making that mistake again.. Can I blame pluto, or is it my saturn retrograde in my 7th house? And why am I meeting so many this year? Anyone wanne have a look at my chart? It seems its not only my love life, or lack of, thats throwing me of this year. My health and my line of work is also very affected. I feel like Im being put through some big test, like in a year or two I might just be a completly different person. What a ride... Would love some input!!

Natal Pluto and Venus are square, giving you an intensity and passion toward those you are attracted to.

However, transit Pluto and transit Juno are directly over your North Node, which could be magnifying your 'lunar' desires, and the desire to move towards those 'objects of desires'. Pluto is a powerful transformer, and Juno can highlight an attraction to another.

transit Saturn has been in conjunction with your Vertex earlier this year. This is when you may have felt that 'fated' quality with another. Saturn, being karmic, may have brought a 'lesson' to you through the person you were 'attracted' to.

I can see that you would have been affected deeply in a passionate, karmic and attracted way. Unless we can view the men's chart, it's hard to say to what degree your attraction was truly fated.

it mentions some ways the square (and oppo which i have) might manifest... which might relate to your position of unavailables...

It's a chart of a northen birth, I've seen it before. It makes sense, she was born in Central Norway.

Equal House would change some of the placements but for those that prefer this house system, it won't alter my answer because I am going to hone in on the 7th house.

And that is .. the ruler of the descendant is the Moon because it is in the sign Cancer. There is is at the bottom of the chart in impatient Aries. The good thing about Aries Moon is that is articulates what it wants and what it feels, it tends not to leave people in doubt. However, here, it is Opposite Pluto.

Moon/Pluto is a heavy duty placement. I know, I have it too, the Conjunction. We are in good company, a lot of LindaLanders have Moon/Pluto placements strong on their charts. Moon/Pluto is greedy, insatiable in its emotions. It tends to hide some of its intensity, but it's there alright.

You want depth and intensity in a relationship (Moon/Pluto). You want a soulmate, and you want one now (Moon Aries). But life doesn't work that way.

Yes, you need that bit of luck, that bit of luck that has eluded you so far. But part of the problem might be in you, in your urgent need.

How do you come across to the potential soulmates? It might put them off that after meeting you and maybe going on a couple of dates you are already scrutinising them to see if they are potential soulmates. If they don't go for the terminology of soul mates, they might think they are being sized up to see if they are marriageable. That is enough to make some men run off screaming.

You're 34, no, that's not that young, but you're hardly past it. You're still young, and when friends of mine have settled down in their mid to late 30s, it seemed quite normal to me although my life panned out differently. Maybe if you relax a little, the energy might flow your way more easily.

The Cancer Descendant in itself is interesting. It suggests what you are looking for in a partner is emotional security. The Pluto/Venus I think is quite wide, but if you feel it and it is effecting you, then bear it in mind as well.

Saturn on the Descendant I think is going to make you come across as quite serious. I don't think it means you are destined to have bad luck in relationships. It is probably more that you come across as a having serious intent, and not being interested in time wasters. That might be daunting to potential suitors, but it is also a good filter.

Oh my God this really hit home.. you are so right... Thank you sooo much!! I know Im intense and with my cap asc and cap venus I am so looking for "the one"... My friends are always commenting on this and asking why its so important to me.. Guess I just have to accept this and try to chill...

Also so true. I actually did a past life regression during this transit and I learned a lot about my karmic patterns. Actually been working through a lot of fear.. Now its going to be interesting to see what happens when pluto moves into my first house and opposing my seventh...

Thank you all sooo much!!! Its so good to get some input!

the KOCH house system was devised with extreme north and south births in mind. i learned it when i was casting charts in great britain and it does seem to me to work better not just in those cases but in general. those houses will still be big, but not QUITE as extreme...wish i knew how to import charts here but i don't! the sun comes up in 11th house
