I'd really love to get a relocation chart done, and I see that astro.com has them. Has anyone had one done on there?
I understand that the personal planets move into different houses to affect the energies, etc, but the aspects stay the same...is this true?

Does anyone know how to read the darn things?

Thanks...so I suppose that means I would simply add those 'energies' to the natal chart as the new influence of the place on me?

Clear this up for me....

I am born in Leeds with my natal chart. Say I move to Andorra and my Ascendant somehow changes to Scorpio. I would then use my natal chart for me based in Andorra as my actual natal chart, not the one where I was born, which is Leeds....

Is that correct?

You got it in one.

You'd use the chart set for the location of Andorra and it would tell you what things you could expect to change or whatever in that new location.

I heard you don't discount the natal stuff, that you essentially 'combine' the new effects of it to the new chart...have I missed something?

You're not "discounting" anything, you're just only looking at what's relevant. Your natal chart hasn't changed any, so there's no need to be gandering at that, what matters it the changed relocation chart for the new location. The relocation chart won't change you as a person, I think you're thinking too modern psychological astrological approach when you look to interpret a relocation chart. Becoming a Scorpio Ascendant in a relocation doesn't mean you're going to suddenly begin to morph and start looking like a Scorpio, it's indicative of other things.

Actually, I used to live in the area for years before I moved, but things were much different...so all these years I was there I was dealing with the 'Scorpio rising' energy, whatever it means.

One thing which is interesting though - my Neptune moved from the 7th house to the 1st house in the relocation...I always had a really strange sensitivity there, where I felt more 'attuned' somehow...I remember that very clearly. So I'm wondering if that's Neptune first house influence.
