Here's some good news. Just because you're not being approached, doesn't mean no one is interested in you. It's funny how what we are on the inside gets given back to us outside. Your chart shows someone emotionally deep and intense, but also private. In turn, men who are attracted to you probably keep their feelings private. They don't sense that you're open to a 5th house style of relating. They sense your emotional self-protectiveness and absorb it, and give that back to you. Getting a man interested in making a move requires showing him that you like and value 5th house fun and the risk-taking inherent in that house.

The goal is to get your romantic self and love of life (5th house territory) onto the surface. You have your 5th house ruler in your 12th house. That could indicate that your 5th house self isn't apparent to others (or even yourself). You can however, with a little effort, make it apparent, because you have it conjunct your Asc.

Your chart shows a beautiful, deep emotional nature, but you are perhaps very private and self-protective with it. Men may think you don't want them, and be clueless about how to be what you want. I feel the same as you Mysticr. Plenty of people tell me I'm beautiful, fun to hang around, and an all around good person. I can't attract a guy to save my life! Well in the U.S. its a bit easier but in the UK, I've just stopped wasting my time. Maybe my looks and personality don't appeal to British/European men.

But I wasn't content to give up and say, well thems the breaks! So I've tried approaching guys, being silly, friendly, sexy, etc, I've tried practically every approach in the book. Either I get rejected or there is some fun interaction - either talking longer or dancing all night etc, but they don't ask for my number.

Quite honestly I'm starting to think that there is some kind of strange cultural thing going on, similar to what Lucia23 mentioned or that I don't exude the right vibes that would attract a guy in this day and age. I am quite happy with my life, hopeful for my future, and excited about the work I do now. I don't want a guy to "complete me" etc, it would just be nice to have a partner in crime. Maybe he doesn't exist, or maybe we're both not ready to meet each other yet.

Either way, given the social scene I've observed in the UK so far, I'm thinking I'm not going to meet him here!

Sorry for the rant! This post has been helpful.. I know now that I'm not alone!

Lucia, I have to agree with you. I think that people have heard so much about "soulmates" and that "spark" and the "you'll know when it hits you" thing that we wont settle for someone who is attractive, who we could possibly just have fun with. We all think we have this soulmate sixth sense now, either someone is the love of our lives or they are nothing. I must admit, I am guilty of this myself. Personally, I think it is because I dated lots when I was younger and, to put it plainly, it sucked! I know that I want to settle down soon.

On the astrological side - maybe this Saturn in Virgo transit has people really feeling like they need perfection (in self and others) enough to suffer alone for it. I know that having it natally, it is that way.
