I have found no hard Venus-Saturn aspects or anything what has been mentioned above for the guy I am talking about...

We met in person (at work), we work together all the time, we've spent many hours together outside of work and can communicate but there is something holding us both back from taking anything further although we have both made it to clear that we like each other. It's like initiating the physical part is scary for some reason...and at work we have a hard time talking to each other, not sure why. We just give each other awkward looks and smiles..

Id take a look at the composite ASC, see what that is. Maybe an Aquarian type of relationship.

An exact venus pluto square can cause this type of reaction. You can be intensely attracted yet it feels vaguely threatening, especially when you are all alone with that person at first. This negative feeling will fade over time, as more of the sexual passion comes out. Remember pluto aspects regenerate and renew themselves, but in transformed ways.

I'd also like to know that. I have the same issue with my "boyfriend", who I've been seen for six months.

I've looked a little more at the synastry and we have Moon square Venus one way and Moon trine Venus the other way..the comfort is there but perhaps we do both feel emotionally threatened if things were to get intimate? His Pluto is also exact on my ASC so that might be part of the tension.

I don't know much at all about the NN but his NN squares my Venus, sextile Mercury & Uranus. My NN squares his Sun and trine his Mars.

I don’t know, this is going to sound a bit weird but I have this with my man and we’ve known each other for years and are well passed the stage of becoming intimate. There are still times when he just freezes, gets all awkward, makes me awkward, and then he bolts, without looking like he’s outright bolting (a slight exaggeration, but that’s the way it feels).
His Saturn square my Mercury, Pluto, trine my Venus, Moon
His Pluto opposition my Sun, Chiron, square my Asc
My Saturn square his Neptune, trine Jupiter, opposition Venus
My Pluto square his Saturn, trine his Moon

Augentier - have you thought about checked the progressed charts? The Moon-Venus square is not a hard, hard aspect but it can lead to feelings of not feeling appreciated by the other, a sense of (emotional) disappointment.

BM - nice visuals there except usually the knife can't get through. Mars is the one to leave the relationship.

Always thought that these were great descriptions of the aspects.
http://www.cafeastrology.com/synastry/mars_saturn_aspects.html

They really accurately describe what I have felt. I've been both Saturn and Mars in these aspects with people.

...and otherwise AG's advice is spot on

CoralBird - I think you hit the head of the nail. I have with my celebrity crush his Mars square my Saturn and his Saturn squares my ASC/Jupiter/Pluto/Moon. It feels terribly uncomfortable and similar to what you say as well as feelings of guilt, vulnerability, heaviness and unworthiness. Very strange.

23,

Tell me about it! lol

With my Celebrity-crush (which one you ask? One of the only two that really count) his Saturn widely conjuncts my Saturn (5) and widely opposes my Neptune (5), conjuncts my Karma, while my Saturn conjuncts his SN exactly and opposes his Jupiter and Destinn.

Uncomfortable? Heaviness? There is a lot of heaviness involved, emotionally for me.

How funny, Mamma Mia, with my celebrity crush his Venus also conjuncts my NN, and his Saturn trines my Moon.

I guess, it can get really complicated, if you have strong uncomfortable but sticking Saturn-contacts on the one hand and on the other hand there are really nice aspects like Sun-Moon, Sun-Venus or Venus-Moon or Venus-ASC or Venus - NN or Moon - NN for example.

I think some people are taking the astrology a little too far in this instance. This scenario is actually fairly common between Capricorn and Cancer suns. This has essentially been how all of my relationships with Cancers have started. There's kind of a long mating dance to it.

I'd love to Lara...the thing is that I don't know his birth time, and I don't want to ask him (see what I mean? He doesn't believe in all this). Will it still be useful without his exact birth time?

Ours went on like this for 20 years.

I think you're right if it's just beginning butterflies, but sometimes it lasts. We eventually discussed it...20 years later.

Our signs aren't quincunx though.

Over 19 years for me.

Strange indeed. I remember him saying one time that the relationship felt too heavy with too much responsibility and obligation. I was so shocked because I am quite independent and pretty low maintenance. I think the only times that I felt this way was when I felt it building up in him….kind of like…what’s that word they use for husbands of pregnant wives that start experiencing all the symptoms of pregnancy? Empathy pains?
