I got turned off when a 30-year old guy I had been going out with for a while told me that he was still a virgin. I didn't think he was a freak, it's just that I didn't want to be the one to "baptise" him.

Some good advice there Koi. I will not do the obvious flower joke related to this. Just too bad!

Yes Blokes, Women want your sperm. They have your child and make you pay for 18 years, even if they leave you, you still keep paying. Respect the c0ck.

Women, if you trap a man with your child, he will pay you spending money for 18 years. You dont have to work and even if he leaves you, the government will pay you anyway.
Go have unprotected sex!

As you can see, my main reason is financial.

Ugh, I know you're hopefully MAINLY joking, but I don't see how men can think that women want to "trap" a man by having a kid. It's not like having one is a walk in the park!

9 months or so of pure hell of people pandering to your needs while the birth can be simple as c-section supplied with lots of drugs. 18 years of nights out after, is all worth it.

Venus in Aquarius isn't focussed on the flesh, perhaps this could suggest periods of celibacy.

Missneptune, good on you for remaining a virgin.

Hmm...I would think saturn in the 5th. I have this (I also have pluto in the 5th) and I was extremely picky when wanting to be intimate with someone for the first time and while all the girls in my school were obsessed with losing it, I waited until high school. In fact, to be honest, I didnt even have any sexual feelings for anyone until I turned 18. I was a late bloomer sexually but I don't regret it.

Also, when I started dating, I would go 6-8 months with NOTHING. Usually the only time I would want to be intimate with someone is if I knew there was a future with the person. Even now, I could never ever just "hook up" with a random someone that I meet in a bar...not even kiss them!

This might have to do with Venus retrograde, too. Love seems to come later in life or there's great inhibition with it.

Kickit generally i love your sense of humour but forgive me for saying "doesn't that sound just like a man talking!!" .......quite apart from your describing a c-section as easy,

are you KIDDING? do you know how much child support a woman gets from an estranged father? do you have any idea what it costs to raise a child? the figures are not even CLOSE! well when i was pregnant (in the early 80's!) the reckoning was that including loss of mom's income a child cost about 250,000 pounds sterling! in a country where all children are entitled to free healthcare to age 16! when her father left me he voluntarily gave me 200/month, a good deal more than the courts would have awarded me. so far from making it possible for me to stay home and raise the child, it didn't even cover the rent. in those days rent was typically about a quarter of one's living expenses...

my grandson's dad is forced by the govt to pay - it comes out of his paycheck - WHEN he is in work. and THAT is a hit-or-miss situation at best!

though i had sex for the first time at what was then considered to be a young age it was probably 4 or 5 years before i had what i would call a SATISFYING experience. i don't recommend losing your virginity because you think you're backward. far too many people abuse sex and their partners. it helps to be a little more emotionally mature and would probably save the world a lot of neuroses if we were all more discerning...

C section is a breeze compared to "natural" birth. Yeah, sure it is hard too.
Yes I do have an idea of how much pregnancy/raising children costs and also how much it costs for someone who has a kid, then its taken away from him. Most cases it is him.

No guarantees in life, but if he is paying child support, what happened to get to that situation? Did he run? Did she? Something went wrong in these cases.

IQ hunks observations:

quote:
Apart from Saturn in 5th, Pluto in 8th and Venus hard aspect Saturn, I would look for Asteroid LUST or EROS hard aspect Saturn or even Lust sq Eros for extreme celibacy.

I have Venus opposite Saturn by 0*. I was celibate (subjectional topic) for 10 years with a couple of slips thrown in

Is it?

You tell us.

*sigh*

I should really get on with my work rather than argue about giving birth on a virgin thread.

All I can say is I'd rather do f@nny end any time if it's all the same to anyone else. And I don't need financial incentive, like many women, I have this funny thing where I actually like children, LOL. I'm picky about who I have them off so don't worry Kick-It, you are safe. As you keep moaning about your lack of funds that will keep all of these female golddiggers away, as well.

I rather do other things than watch you argue on this thread. Maybe discussion could be useful instead.
Know any Monk types with a natal chart to look at?

More like driven to extreme loneliness with a gay population of 1% in my hometown - and the only other gay woman prowling about was my Ex!!

After all, I have a Virgo stellium and that requires some form of attention, even if I have to wait 5 years for a 10 minute period of intimacy!!!

Can't say I do, no.

But there must be a famous example of someone who was notorious for their chastity and/or celibacy who could serve as a working example?

Isaac Newton?

Who was the guy played Psycho, was it Antony Perkins? I think the story is he lost his virginity aged 40.

Let me think on it whilst I attack this piece of work. It's got to be done.

Oh, well done, Buena.

A good example.

She had good reason to be resistant to sexual relationships outside of waiting for the right person:

* not wanting to share her power and authority

* her father killed her mother ~ and her stepmother/aunt (Howard)

* the high chance of death in childbirth like 2 of her stepmothers (Seymour and Parr)

Different reasons, drain on creativity, distraction from life work:
http://ty.rannosaur.us/6-historic-figures-that-were-celibate/

Of course we can't guarantee the accuracy of the information, etc.

Funnily enough, he does have Saturn in 5th according to this (Newton):
http://www.astrotheme.com/portraits/DHE6jBr59Q7k.htm

I would want to see more than that, though. I know some non-monk like types with this placment. It's not enough on it's own to sway me.

I think to study Celibacy the best examples are Catholic priests and nuns. They are married with God.

Here is Florence nun, we had already here.
