Hi All,

Well, here it is. I have Pluto in Virgo conjuncting my rising sign and sharing the 1st house with Uranus (which is in Libra and opposing my Aries moon while squaring my Mercury).

For some reason I seem to REALLY attract Virgo men. The problem is that although we find each other facinating and easy to talk to, we just cannot get along after a while. It is though what drew us together, pushes us apart. I am going through a long separation and divorce from a Virgo husband. We still care about eachother, but it was just not right for us to be together. Now, please don't think me immoral, but I did meet someone (once we knew it was over) and he is a dynamic Leo with an Aquarian moon that I have known for a couple of years and we get along famously.

Yet, I still seem to and always have attracted Virgo men in my life. It is almost like 1 out of every 2 guys that approaches me is a Virgo. What do you think? Is it my Asc and Pluto that is sending out the vibes? Just curious.

Me: (12/16/69 23:45 Artesia, CA)
Virgo: (8/31/53 22:30 Yonkers, NY)

Yeah, that conjunction in your first would attract many Virgos, that's fairly natural I'd say. And of the 16 years age difference, and you being a young hotty to him. Virgo men like younger chicks, they are less messy in the head we seem to think. I was always one to act simply on the principle of be young, date older; get older, date younger. A proper Virgo should learn all he needs from one or two older women, it needn't become a lifelong thing. I was 22 when I met my first wife, a Cappy, who was 34 and practicing dentistry at the time; we wed two years later. So there is that whole thing. Maybe you have an older man thing you haven't discussed...and the Leo's age?

LOL, Hi Carlo,

Thanks for the response. How ironic, my Virgo was also in dentistry until he switched careers.

I have usually dated guys that were my age or a bit younder, but rarely were they ever older. He was the first person that was so much older than me. The Leo is about 5 months older than me.

I the past I found that I had either attracted men that needed to be babied or men that wanted to conquer me for some weirdo reason. He was different and we are still great friends and can talk about almost anything, we just don't fare well romantically at all. He is a genius and can go just about anything from P-chem to rewiring a dishwasher.

You are right, I think that he saw a younger woman and thought that I would be a bit easier to mold and shape into the DC power couple that we see so often out here. Me, I am pretty much a Western girl and I love the whole family, lot's of pets and wide open space kind of thing. Not to mention I am pretty hard headed.

I admire Virgos and their ability to get at the bottom of things, yet at the same time, I wish you all were just a bit faster and not so analytical...LOL..see that is the fire in me wanting to push things along. I was also a lot more emotional, passionate and combative that he is and I know that it sometimes overwhelmed him. To me an argument is just two people venting, to him it was devastating. I think that his Gemini moon made him even less emotional and more analytical, but highly entertaining and brilliant.

So, does that mean you have a younger woman now? I thought that Cappys and Virgos made great mates?

the rising sign is the door people see on the outside of you. so it is probably that these virgos see a part of themselves they can identify with by your rising sign.

now, as for the part about relationship is concerned, there are other things within the charts and how they interact that would give a better indication of what's happening.

is the data you have provided that of your ex-husband? or some other virgo that you had encountered?

Hi Aphrodite,

How are you? The birth date information is that of my ex-hubby. I can see how the rising sign would throw out that vibe, I can also see how it would attract me to Virgos as well. We both see something in each other that reminds us of the self in a way.

Hmmmmm, looks like you Virgos are also attracted to American Indians.

I am also from out West. My maternal great-grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee that read cards and auras. The rest of my mothers side is German (mom is blonde with blue eyes). My father is 3/4 Apache (Chirichaua). His father was Apache and Spanish and my grandmother is a full blood. LOL...and all my parts are real. My Virgo is also from the Boston area by way of New York. Funny how that works out.

Does your wife get a chance to stay in tough with her heritage? Being a Leo I am sure that she is full of fire especially when combined with the Cherokee blood.

Oh sure, an American Leo with Cherokee blood, and a descendant of the Chippewa Cree tribe, known to be one of the more bloodthirsty back in the day. Now most Native American tribes have lost their fight, having been pacified for so long by US goverments. My squaw is a true Big Kitty, she purrs mostly, yet can swipe your hand off if you get her going She's on the tribal rolls and working on making an impact within that community. I am Wiccan, so Earth religion is pretty plain between us. I love her very much, Leos can be sooo exciting and inspiring, they are so optimistic :^) We dour Virgos need that now and then! And she is just lovely Her name is Joy Love I call her JL sometimes, and Cookie, and all sorts of names, we each have about five or six different characters that we play, including the obligatory southern hicks and the Brits I think everyone does that out here in LA LA Land she is my J. Lo too I did a page about us, wanna see? It opens with a poem by Linda Goodman I bet you've never seen...

http://lovestarz.com/leovirgo.html

some parts are bit racy ;^) we both made the page during our courtship

Carlo,

That page is beautiful and so inspiring. For a moment it made me miss my Virgo, but our passion was never like that. He encompassed some of the more insecure traits of the Virgin. Somewhere, something scared him and he never showed the passion that so many Virgos have within them. He did however teach me to slow down a bit and his brilliant mind always kept me on my toes.

As for Leos. Yes, they are passionate. The one that has really stolen my heart has taught me so much about real love and passion. Sometimes I wonder who is the Lion tamer, me or him. We are like two long lost friends that have so much catching up to do, yet we have only known each other for a few years. We lived so close to each other, but never met until my job took me out West for a meeting with a bunch of Cowboys. On the flight out there my stomach was in knots, which normally indicates that something will is going to happen. He showed up to the dinner meeting late and sat down across from me. When our eyes met, time stood still and the as we both like to say "the fight was on" LOL...the cowboy and the Indian. He has really taught me how to slow down and breathe and how to love again when I was so afraid after being rejected for so long. (His b-day 7/28/69 11:59pm Moscow, Idaho)

Our lives have almost mirrored each other and things seem to happen to us at about the same time. Both of our maternal Grandmothers were diagnosed with cancer 6 months apart and both died six months apart.

He doesn't think it is odd that I am Lutheran, but I also practice many of the old ways that my grandmother taught me about herbs, meditation and of course there is astrology and tarot. He almost wept when I gave him a small leather pouch with Apache Tears that had been blessed for protection. He carries it everywhere. I just knew that he needed them.

I saved your page into my favorite places as it is so beautiful, both in the pictures and also in the words.

Thank you,

Pidaua

Hi Carlo,

LOL, the Leo is the Cowboy, the Virgo was a proper New Englander from a blue blood family.

My mothers family is from Kansas, from the Great Bend area (her grandma was the Cherokee by way of Oklahoma) My dad is a Texan.

Apache tears are polish stones that come from volcanic rock. They are actually a form of obsidian, that when polished, is said to reflect back at the person. It is so much like glass that finding jewelry with cut stones is difficult. I was lucky to find a beautiful pendant / neckless with a cut apache tear. It is said that when you look into the stone, you can see the tears of the Apache.

The legend states that the US calvery chased a band of Apache Warriors to the edge of a cliff in Arizona. Rather than be taken into custody and denied freedom (the worst thing other than hanging or losing ones head, which meant spending the afterlife with a crooked neck or a headless body) they jumped to their deaths. It is then said that the Great Spirit looked upon the grieving tribe that that came back to camp found the bodies on the canyon floor. Where they wept and wailed with grief, their tears became the stones.

It reminds us all of the courage and pain of the Warriors.

Oh my, that is so profound. I love that! It is just sickening what the white man did. I did a paper on the steady eradication of Native American sovereignty by US governments for a class I took in law school called Native Americans and the Law. It's just dreadful, yet it is heartening to see some recent gains by the community over the years, yet at what expense? They hav lost nearly all their native land and it is just galling. Thanks for telling me that, it's so neat. Sry for the mixup over the cowboy Of course, the Virgo would be a proper Bostonian...I just can't picture Woody Allen on a horse lol Oh come on, we Virgos aren't that bad! (right???)

Also pidaua, I would say that you will naturally find some affinity with the Leo simply because of the age diference. Not in and of itself, yet in contrast to the age diff with the Virgo. It's like it should feel more normal coming off a relationship with someone from a different generation to then be with someone your own age. It kind of centers you, if nothing else. So it may be easy to read things into it that might not normally be there, just because of the big contrast. And it should be a natural friendship, you both being Fire signs, rather than square signs. You know how heavy a spadeful of Earth can be coming from a Virgo. It's never fun for Fire signs, just ask my wife lol. Yet Linda made it clear that if you have any problem, any issue, take it to a Virgo, leave your heart in your glovebox, and prepare for an objective solution that no one else could see. The trick is separating from your emotions long enough to just listen. Too often it may sound like lecturing, yet it isn't. Because Virgo is foster-ruled by Mercury, not only are we inclined to point out all flaws we see, we are inclined to run our mouths about it! It seems like we are heaping Earth on those around us, yet that is just their perception. They have to change their perceptions, because they cannot change Virgos, or anyone else. And remember that Fire signs are often more emotional than all other elements. So a Fire female can be very emotional. We Virgs do need to just listen more when you all are spilling forth your feelings. Yet please understand that our natural inclination is to solve your problem, not be sympathetic and "Aw, poor thing," you to death. Go to your Pisces pals for that. We are just the opposite. Open your mouth and we believe you are inviting us to solve all your problems, and then we undertake to do so.

My fabulous sister is a Sag! She is sleeping under the stars in the Serengheti now, after finishing her second master's degree. She is a year younger than me, and flies all over the world, runs marathons, she is so active. I love Sag girls, and they usually like me, I just don't know too too many that I have as friends. Maybe part of the square comes from that Sag is about honesty, and fundamentally so is Virgo, yet it's about how they communicate the truth. I am still not sure, yet it is part of my work to reconcile the elements of Earth and Fire; to be more tender and sympathetic, thereby claiming the traits of my opposite sign, yet I am already a pretty sensitive guy! Now excuse me, I have to go crank Check Your Head and wake up my wife If there is only one CD that I could have on a deserted island, I think it would be that one Okay, okay, I actually made the coffee and will prolly just put a cup near the bed so it wakes her that way

Have a fabulous weekend

Love,
Carlo

Noooo, I would never say that Virgo's are bad at all. Actually, I find you all to be cute and just a bit stuffy, but you're just waiting to let the party animal out.

Carlo,

You are soooo right about the emotions and how Virgo's tend to have the ability to detach themselves and look at things objectively. I can do that with most things, but not when it comes to matters of the heart where I am concerned. LOL

I had to smile about the leaving the heart in the glovebox (so true) and how honesty from both the Sag and the Virgo can lead to a few arguments. I had dinner last night with one of my Virgo friends. He was jabbering a way (surprise) and then he looked at me and said, in the typical Virgo way "You know, you are a beautiful girl, but you really don't need to wear makeup. You should cover up your face". I almost fell off the chair and came back with, "Well chubby, maybe you could stand to work out like I do once and a while and lose that spare tire". LOL ...I just smiled and realized it was his way of trying to help "perfect" something in me.

My ex is still a great guy and he as been more emotional through the break-up and he realized a few things about himself and I also learned about how cutting I can me and how I really am an emotional creature. Here I thought I could hide my enthusiasm and passion, but I am a Sag and I do not have a "poker" face. He also would wake me up in the morning with a cup of coffee on the nightstand next to the bed, or he would stroke my face softy and whisper goodmorning. I do miss many of his qualities.

You're sister sounds like she is really loving life. I go to Apache Lake in Arizona with my family a few times a year to go hiking, rock climbing and of course water sports. My younger bro is also a Sag and he seems to be like your sister in that he is into hiking, rock climbing, traveling (which I love to), and anything else sports related. He isn't as clutzy as me though. I think my long legs have a tendency to get me into a few scraps, grace...Hmmm, that is before dinner.

I love doing that, I carry all my caving gear with me in my car at all times. what is Apache Lake like...big? Are there caves near it? Where in AZ are there caves, pidaua?

Carlo,

You are too much!! Apache Lake is near Roosevelt Dam. It is pretty much unknown to most people and the sticker says "Make friends where the pavement ends". Most people turn around when they realize the road stops and you have to follow a curvy dirt road.

There are many caves, you just have to be careful when exploring. Lot's of rattlesnakes and icky hairy spiders. LOL. I love climbing to cliffs to the top of the mesas. There is one mesa that has an old burned up tree that was struck by lightening. The lightening has also struck the rocky canyon and melted the quartz in places. The quartz bubbles out and you can pull small pieces off, it beautiful.

Anyway, I always feel closer to God , Nature and my spiritual guides when I am out there standing on the mesa. I have to go a few times a year.

I am tall, 5'9". I was really skinny and tall as a kid and wild as hell. I ran everywhere. I must have been a sight, all legs and long black hair with my trusty little dog, Apricot. Luckily I filled out, but I still have an athletic body. If I don't work out or have some major physical activity, I will get depressed.

So you are a cave explorer? What is the term?......splunker (forgive the spelling if I am wrong..LOL)You must have some interesting stories. Does you wife go caving as well?

PS. It has come to my attention that my Virgo co-worker likes me. I looked at his chart and there's a lot of squaring going around, but I have to admit, I have this attraction to him, almost like a pull. He has his Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto, Uranus and Ascendent all in Virgo.

What is your take on this development? (His b-day) 9/9/66 6:49am Silver Spring, MD

you know, I went with a girl for four years who was born 6/6/66!

Venus in Virgo, huh? you better be perfect lol they are the pickiest and all that Virgo in his 1st & 12th house...well, if any Sag can handle him, it's you You can help him understand himself better, since you are a Virgo man specialist I bet he is more of the epitome of Virgo traits than you'll ever see, that's a lot, especially in those houses. His Pluto & Uranus must be around 18°, he's like born a few weeks after me. So he has Mars in Leo, good for you

the term is spelunk. It's a blast, yes Joy does it too. Fire girls are always active

Your mesas sound lovely. I am coming out to visit, it's settled lol

I am gonna have so much fun next week. I am going to film a Latin American film festival for a week. They wine & dine me and I just shoot my camera on their events, parties, and shows. I am so psyched. And heading to the desert tomorrow, near Palm Springs for a couple days. My wife loves the desert too. oh, I forgot about spiders and snakes! You Indian girls

Palm Springs? I LOVE THAT PLACE!!!

I am originally from Laguna Hills and I would spend 3-4 weekends a year in Palm Springs with my mom and friends. I haven't been out there since my mom moved to Nevada a year ago. I might be going out there over the holidays.

I do love the desert, the beach and of course the mountains (repect and fear them as well).

Wow, it sounds like you all are going to have a great time at the Latin Film Festival. I really miss authentic Mexican and Spanish food. When I am out West (I work with the agriculture / cattle industry) I just go crazy in Texas, Arizona and California. I also found that you can get some great Basque food up in Idaho. Out here I am still having a hard time getting real beef chorizo and they finally offer something in the stores other that Taco Bell beans. LOL

You wife sounds like blast. I am happy for the both of you because it is very apparant that you still are courting each other even now!!! Good for you! I do think that us Indian / Fire women have a real fear of crunchy bugs and spiders. I can hang with snakes, but the bugs get me everytime.

Hi Carlo,

Sorry, it took me forever to respond. Things have been so hectic on the career front. I am trying to get myself wedged out of the political fallout caused by our Gemini / Cancer Biz Manager (who is now gone, but he has left a mess behind for me to clean up. I just hope this Sag can charm the clients back into our fold) and the ego-driven Taurus CEO that cannot admit he has been wrong in his decision making. This company is so strange, it seems to succeed in spite of it's CEO that build sandcastles (products) and then tears them down (cuts funding right in the middle). DO you think it being founded during the Pisces Sun means anything (March 1967)?

Anyway, it seems that Mr. Leo and I have been able to rescue the product from certain hell, but we'll see if we can keep our jobs in tow for the next few months. Me? Well, I am looking outward for new positions out West.

Other than that, I am still studying my "retrograde planets" I found and ordered the book by Sullivan after losing the bid on E-bay. I also found the 3rd book in the Anasazi Mystery series by Gear and O'Neal...I can always get lost in a good novel, especially those based in the Southwest...not to mention I am a sucker for a bit of Romance sprinkled in the story.

I LOVE Mark Twain and fell in love with Huck Finn when I was just a little pee wee. I recently found out that he is not only a Sag...but he has an Aries Moon....yippppee, just like me.

How are you??? I hope things are going well.

Kisses!!!!
