Hi there!!!WOW!!! How fascinating... And very true... I wonder if someone out there can help me... I'm trying to interpret the birthchart of someone I know... This person has Aries in the cusp of the 7th house and Mars is in Sagittarius very close to the cusp of the 3rd house. Jupiter is in the 7th house. The rulers are in each others houses, which should reinforce their influence. The 7th house is supposed to rule marriage, business partners and clients, best friends and peers, steady relationships, bitter enemies in the open, dealing with the public, contracts, diplomacy, opponents, grandparents and what you think you lack. Then the sign should reflect how you deal with those areas. Aries is brave, noble, assertive, passionate, blind towards the effect on others, pushy, self-centred, selfish, willing to reveal himself, original, impulsive and fiercely competitive. In those areas, he would think “Me first” and has to be the boss, a bit of a tyrant. But then… What is the influence of Jupiter? Jupiter shows where you are lucky and merciful, how and when you trust, things you enjoy, the ways you are kind, how you have fun and your sense of humour… I’m confused!!! How do you relate the blindness and the me-first-attitude, the egocentrism and so on from Aries with the kindness, mercifulness and fun of Jupiter? This person is actually a bit blind of his partners needs and does tend to be me-me-me in relationships without realising it… How does it fit with the Jupiter meaning? Thank you!!! IP: Logged |

What if the ruler of the 7th is trine Venus and sextile the Moon? And I read that if someone else has their sun in your 7th house, you will feel burned out quickly. As for the description of the ruler in the 7th, it's true I met a significant other at an electricians conference, and I have dated a doctor i worked with, an artist I modeled for, a marriage counsellor, and a lawyer, the lawyer I almost married. I am getting the idea the 7th house rules doctors/lawyers, business ventures, sharing resources, and information, counselling, and possibly political campaigns. The sixth house finds people at work, the 7th house creates work with people. Natasha

I'm barely keeping up with this thread, but I'll "get it" eventually. The thought of my 7th House Ruler having aspects with other planets sounds interesting. If anyone sees anything here, please let me know so I can try to follow. Thanks :::Ruler of 7th House = Pluto My Natal - Venus Conjunct Pluto Neptune Sextile Pluto .gloria ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

Crow, What he means is look at the sign that is on your seventh house cusp. In my case it is Cancer and the moon is ruled by Cancer. So I look at the house in which my Moon is in, in my case the 8th and read the interpretation. quote: Eight: Your best love connects with the hidden world –maybe astrology or psychic realms apply. Love can also come from investment counseling, endowments, or insurance.
Hope that helps. What sign is on your seventh house cusp? Go from there. IP: Logged |

Hey Lovely Lioness, I had some trouble figuring it out too! The sign opposite you ascendent (aka Descendent) is what we're looking at. This sign also falls on the cusp of your 7th house. Now, What is the planet that rules this sign? After you find the planet, look for the planet in your chart and make note of what house it is in. Hope that helped! IP: Logged |

lioness,um, if what scorpbaby said doesnt make sense, look above your last post. I explained it for Crow as well. 1)What sign is on your seventh house cusp. 2)What planet rules that sign? 3)What house is that planet placed in, in your chart? 4)Now read the explanation for that particular house. Hey this is cool! And something I actually understood YAY! That's a first for me and astrology of this nature...At any rate, here is something pretty interesting I think...astro.com says my ascending sign is Aries, yet ALL other astrology sites I've been to say it's Taurus...at any rate, I have BOTH planets of those signs in my 7th house!!!! Now THAT is pretty darn special! IP: Logged |

Ok so the chart isn't posted on here but I opened up the link. You have a Pisces Descendant, and the ruler of Pisces is Neptune. Neptune is in Capricorn in the 4TH house, so you shoud check out the description of the ruler of the seventh (Neptune) in the 4TH house. IP: Logged |

Virgo on H7 cuspMercury in H6 Sixth: In many cases, Cupid can entwine your heart right where you work, more especially if you’re connected with teaching. As insurance, add small animals to the formula – a liaison at the veterinary clinic, perhaps. Well I fell for a guy that I work with... I did get married before, but I met him at a bar... But I wasnt interested.. He became friends with my friends, and then a few months later, we got together.. But I also never considered him my true love. IP: Logged | |
