And yet again, I wrote a looong post yesterday and lost it.  Aphrodite-I agree with you about Aquas and Gems! All of my friends with those sun signs are so easy to get along with...and we naturally lose touch and then reconnect and it's always fine, like no time has passed and no one takes offense. The Scorps on the other hand...well, put it this way, I have a hard enough time dealing with their "why haven't i heard from you in 1 day?" interrogations. In fcat, I know one Scorp who has ignored 3 of my messages b/c I didn't call her regularly or see her for 3 weeks. So it's been 2 months since we've spoken and I just don;t think that's the way friends should be. I have a Virgo buddy (Cancer moon and Gem. rising) who constantly calls me and doesn't udnerstand that I simply cannot spend hours on the phone talking to him and when I ask him to e-mail me instead, he gets insulted. And yes, Aries make very good friends. Although, the only Aries friends I have are female...Aries are very loyal...as friends

Almost everyone that I know and interact with regularly is a Pisces, Aquarius, or a Scorp (or has one or more strong placements there).
Aquas fit nicely into my urge to interact with most people on a casual, friendship level, and they'll follow me on (or initiate joint) little mental romps; Scorps - no matter how quiet and broody they might otherwise tend to be (and there have been a few like that, esp. one very moody musician) open up and will either banter and/or enjoy comfortable silences with me. Pisces...I actually couldn't get away from my fellow Fish if I wanted to. Both my Mom & Step-Mom are Fish, and every third person that I bump into is, too.
I usu. get along w/ my Squares (Gem & Sag) well - my best friend in Grade & Middle school was an Archer, and we still talk today.
Hrm.
Lemme list the rest to clarify my own thoughts:
Aries - I know almost none, the only one that I can think of being my Ram cousin w/ strong Virgo/Pisces placements...although, oddly enough, quite a few people have guessed me to be a Ram, so you'd think I know a few...er something.
Taurus - I usu. get along with them well, and am definitely attracted to people with strongish Bull placements - although their tendency to take everything so derned literally can grate.
Gemini - As said above, I can go back and forth nicely w/ them, although it tends to stay purely superficial.
Cancer - I don't know many, although I know quite a few with strong Crabby influences; I get on w/ them, too, but sometimes I just feel like shaking them and yelling, "Snap out of it!" when they begin to...act like Crabs.
Leo - I don't know that many outside of my family; I tend to get along with older female Leos better than any other kind. One at my old job (yay, Taletha!) decided that I was her honorary daughter.
Virgo - Quite a few in my fam, although not that many known otherwise; they're able to know me pretty quick.
Libra - I know almost none (except my Pop), but he's a moody-arse Cancer Moon person.
Scorp - See Above. The males esp. very easily see through my tomboyishness to my Soft Lil' Pisces Soul. It's cool.
Sag - See Above. If we get along, they adopt me.
Cappie - I either get on very well with them or we're like oil and water.
Aqua - See Above. Cool peeps, all in all.
Pisces - See Above.----------

Something that I noticed:
I get along best with other people ruled by the the outer planets (Nep, Pluto, & Uranus); and not only are my big three all ruled by those (Pisces/Aqua/Scorp), but I have a tight natal Neptune/Sun Square, a tight Uranus/Sun trine (the Uranus being in my 1st House), and a close Pluto/Sun Quincunx (I prolly wouldn't normally look @ that aspect, but that's the only non-generational aspect that my Pluto has - the "generational" one being the Neptune/Pluto Sextile).

Randall, I think it's been known to happen..on occasion..I've known a few Cappies to flirt, but they usually seem to just come out and admit what they want. I think the flirting award goes to Leo, Aries and Gemini. I have the most fun flirting with other Gemini/Libra Risings and Gemini Moons.  IP: Logged |

Aphrodite that was so funny... I don't know any Cappys, yet I can identify with the Gemini portion of it. I did talk with a Cappy once. He was a very charming person. I have a question for the Aquas... I know of 3 different Aqua/Cancer couples... and well, the cancers always seem to be so mean to them. Can anyone identify with this? IP: Logged |

This one does (but like every other planet in his chart is fire or air).
He's from Honduras, and every time I see him he says, "Hellllo, my beautiful Corri! And how has my love been since we have last been together?" (sounding like Ricardo Montebon) and then asks me out...again.
At first he was sincere (but I was going out w/ that Taurus and kept turning him down), so now it's more of a just a thing that we have.IP: Logged |

Geez Oxy, ouch!! I know the Aquarian burn there!  My sig. other is a Cancer with an Aries moon and he can be durn ornery, especially around the full moon. Yep. That helped me out. I was wondering if these poor Aquas had just run up on some mean Cancers or something. I can generally get along pretty well with the cancer (I'm suppose to). Although, I see them just verbally trash or dismiss these Aquas... it makes me so ill! Had an example of it this weekend with 2 girls.. one Aqua and one Cancer. This Aqua is such a friendly and out-going person... she was trying everything up her sleeve to get the other girl to smile or laugh. Well... here came that Cancer with the most rude comments you could imagine. Then I had to intervene I just know a few of the aqua/cancer couples and it "seems" that alot of this is really just un-called-for. IP: Logged |

Hi All,Oxychick, that is cool your Virgo friend was comfortable enough to express his grievance. My Virgo roommate once expressed that when she is in a "relationship," she expects to talk and see that person everyday. She is dating an Aquarius who is overseas in England, so that made a few pretzel bendies on what her terms are in a relationship. He was out here directing a play she was in a few months back. She expresses to me nervousness and insecurity about things when he doesn't write at least once a week. Which makes me feel sad because I just want the girl to be happy, not miserable. I know 2 Aqua/Scorp couples in which the Aqua just torments the Scorp with their "I come and go as I please" attitudes and emotional "coolness". Actually, they torment each other. But they're so in love. Ah, the Square. Such beautiful torture. IP: Logged |

Aphrodite-sorry to hear that your roomate is unhappy. My best relationships were all long-distance ones because I didn't have to see them every day But I can understand her frustration. It's a tough thing that has to be worked out between them. I hope she's happy whatever she chooses. As for my Virgo buddy, yeah, well, he wanted to plan a get-together recently b/c he's been in Texas for months and when I didn't call him back and instead IMed him asking about the time (he logged off on me before I could explain that I had to take the notary exam in the morning), and i e-mailed him explaining and i haven't heard form him since. Those Cancer moons can really give you the silent treatment. Hopefully he'll come around. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the advice ... He is a sweet guy... I think I'm going to stick with a friendship thing with him. Hey, maybe "I'll" take "him" out to dinner. What is it when you're unattached you'd have a hard time finding someone under a rock... yet, when you're beginning to get involved (as I am with the gemini.. again ) they come out of the woodwork on ya! My Gem has black hair.. beautiful blue eyes.. and I probably shouldn't say this on here.. but what the hey! This Gemini has a body that just puts a tear to my eye!!!!! Wew-Hoo!!! It just says "Come hither"! OH YEAH!!!  Sorry... I had to let that out! I had mine and the Gem's compatibility charts ran together... and well... he's mean and so am I. Yep! I mean I'm really cheesing right now If they're not in my "home town" than they're pretty close by! Aphrodite said that my house of sex (8th) is on the cusp of Gemini. Go figure! He is a hottie... has a scorp moon and his mars is pisces and venus in cancer. See, see... trines there baby! He's actually a pretty private person. Also, his moon makes him very protective and well... a bit jealous. Actually, he can give me a run on the jealous thing. He's a hottie!! Also, has a great personality... I think we've grown up enough now to sort things over... actually, it's always me and not him. (at least I admit it!) However, I've been trying to learn him better through astrology. Believe it or not... it nailed our problems and now I know if I'd just relax a bit and let him take lead every once in a while, than we'll be fine We've been together for five years and have mutually agreed that we can't stand to be apart for too long.
