Well, my brother met his current GF online and they've been together for over 2 years now.

I'm not looking for a romantic partner, but I (like most, I would imagine) have made some wonderful friends from all over the world whom without the Internet I wouldn't have met. What an invention...and great medium of communication.

physically speaking, being in a net relationship for any amount of time can almost become torturous over an extended period.

The medium is also greatly open to mind-games and abuse from both parties because its so intuition dependant. Usually its easy to fool yourself into beleiving they're better than they actually are.

When they break down because of that extra attachment it can seriously knock you for six, not to mention the disastrous effects it can have on your self esteem.

If there is no doubt, whatsoever in your mind about this then by all means give it a bash.. but just do not allow yourself to become overly focused on the light at the end of the tunnel - sometimes it turns out to be a train!

The internet allows us to bypass normal modes which is better for some people, but once you do make contact try to keep meeting up regular.. and i mean more than once every 2 weeks as a rule of thumb... even for a venus in cappy like me any more than that is stretching it really.

I know i've come across as sounding very negative, but i've been a first hand witness of the emotional damage being that attached can do. On the other hand you CAN feel more connected than before.. and it can be a great experience.. but like anything it can take alot of effort not to go sour.

I'm not willing to share my personal experiences in the open as the first one at least was rather extreme in its effects on me, and im not meant to be posting here anyway (lol.. so much for that idea)...

but... i felt i needed to break my rule when i saw this thread. Just keep your wits about you and dont allow your emotions to fool you on this and you should be fine.. but pay attention to those alarm bells.. they aren't wrong. ever.

By the way: Jupiter transited through Leo the entire last year and made an opposition with the transit Uranus and Neptune. Are you sure you have not met somebody already? If you look at your chart, the houses that Venus rules can tell you WHERE love is going to be coming from. The transits of Neptune and Uranus made it very difficult for your Venus and you might have felt confused and sad about love - even betrayed. This can also mean love with an artist. But Uranus probably gave the kick - it rules computers and the Internet. But I do not think the end result is going to be happy: Saturn is moving somewhere around your Moon and is going to make you depressed, sad and emotionally inhibited. But this is a good time for soul searching and can define what you want from your emotional life and yourself.

Can you give me the degrees? I need your degrees to be more accurate.

Your Moon is NOT in Cancer - it is in Gemini (so: yes! yes! yes! about your Gemini partner) and your Asc is in Aquarius - welcome to the world of future. And your 5th house is in Gemini (love with a Gemini) ... now I know why you use the computer (maybe the phone?) a lot and your Gemini partner could be GREAT. Did you experience a lack of love during the last 2 years? Did you feel that love is coming as fast as it is going?

Just to check: the 1. July 1970 in Sydney, Australia (New South Wales? I use a program and I do not know about the different parts of Australia, so please confirm), 19:50h. Can you give me the data of your beloved Gemini?

If the data you have given me is correct, your love could be coming from far away and he probably moved in you building (house). But I am not sure.

You two have a really good chart and I am so happy for you! You have a Venus/Mars conjunction - vice versa - and this is supposed to give the greatest love of your life! And the sex life must be great too (if you are not having sex yet, you are in for a great surprise)! This is a great love and I so hope that I am right! You bring so much happiness to his life that you do not even notice it. And you bring structure to his thoughts and plans. He can be an optimistic if he wants to and dream about the future, sometimes not judging people the right way. Your Venus is on his Mars/Saturn conjunction (which is difficult to handle as it is) and you tend to heal his wounds. I am so glad I did a chart - for once - of people who really love each other and who have a lot in common. Not just sex, money or superficial fun. The only problem is that his Saturn conjuncts you VIIth house, so this may prolong marriage a little bit. If his birth time is correct Saturn left his Venus and this can only do 2 things: brake up the relationship or make it even deeper. As you two are not separated I hope that I am hearing wedding bells correctly.

I am doing the composite chart and the equidistant chart for you both, so I can give you an exact evaluation of the potentials your relationship has (read: what to do and what to avoid). I am always there to help a fellow Cancer. And the transit of Saturn through your IV and V house, the transit of Uranus and Neptune over your rising sign must have made the last few years difficult to handle. And you have a Saturn/Venus squre; people with this aspect suffer through love, in love, with love and for love. And they usually have to wait. A lot! I hope the time has come for you to be happy ... after all the heartache you have been through.

my venus is retro in the 9th/cappy conjunct my south node by 1.2 degrees and opposing my moon/north node conjunction, my saturn is retro in libra in the 5th (using koch)
