For many years I had been pondering the concepts floating about in the esoteric world about Soul Unions from within the sELF. What are the purposes of Ego and Spirit? Some say each Zodiac sign embodies a unique relationship between the two. There are also thoughts that it is the Soul that must "overcome" the Ego.When I started looking at charts and communicating with people on a deeper level on the essence of One almost 8 years ago, I noted conflicted themes, coherent themes that though gave balance --- lended to an unbalanced view of reality towards a larger realm, struggles of being related to one another, etc. Further complicating Soul Unions are the principles of the Masculine and Feminine Energies existing in both Ego and Spirit. Sometimes I think if we are able to intergrate fully oursELVES, we can exist as a Universe within a Grand Universe; freely contributing and receiving --- the non-existence of ownership and alienation that forces many to blindly believe there is profound advice and wisdom to be found only on the outside, when we naturally possess that magick and charisma in us. Non dependent - interdependence . . . the possibilities of being infinity in Soul Unions. Thoughts? Aphrodite IP: Logged |

Yes thank you, Aphrodite..."food for thought" ! Its frustrating beeing a spirit within a human body which are chained to the controlling ego of our kind. My opinion is that our ego feed on our desires and obsessions in a way that seems unfitting for our pure goal of loving another humanbeing in a SoulUnion. We end up in an circle of illusions of love and often just hurt eachother. And many of us end up collecting ghosts that just makes the search for love more comlicated. I came to the point where I truly had to find the balance between the Masculine and Feminine Energies within myself before I am able to truly give love to a man. Before I have put myself in a non dependent - non needie state of spirit and ego, I can not truly give nor recieve. And I will probably not recognise one of my soul mates before I am there. Or at least the union would bring less wisdom to us both. We should love in harmony and balance, not to feed on our ego to satisfy what we desire and want. I see a soulmate as a teacher, as a morror. A union which is not meant to be possessed, not to be controlled by the ego! When the souls are ready the union will find place. And when the lesson is learned the souls will be freed from their union/karma. Well, lovely people this was just my opinion anyway Love, Li IP: Logged |

Funny how when we are on the verge of universally understanding something new about ourselves, our first reaction (which usually lasts a few decades) is to decide whether to discard it or not. Black & white. As time goes on, as we begin to understand the essence of simply being in the know about something quite personal, we get a better handle on it and realize, it was never whether to hang the witch or let her breathe. The ego is quite necessary to survival. Just because one may not be practiced in how it will intertwine with our lives does not mean it should be given up on. Simply, spend more time figuring out how the ego is useful and learn to limit it to those areas of your life where it will work for you. Everything in moderation. I believe the old faith is trying to tell us something in that we WILL invaribly fly off the handle at some point, we are not perfect. Therefore, we take a deep breath and keep the eye on the proverbial ball (being one with Spirit - once and for all)... It's the frustration in dealing with the above dynamics which, I believe, causes the violence, the riots, the lack of compassion. OUR FRUSTRATION... It's not that we are inherently bad people because we possess an ego to aid us in staying alive long enough to pass on the good word... I intend very much, for this to be my last pass on this Earth, but it's not ultimately mine to decide. Without the mystery, we would have no purpose here in the first place. Keep on Truckin! with love & support .gloria ------------------ it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness... IP: Logged |
