Soul Mates usually have other aspects in common like the Moon conjunct the Sun or ascendant in the other's chart, as well as multiple ties and conjunctions shown in both charts. In addition, they meet after a major crisis in one or the other's life. True Soul Mates are much more complex and rare than the idea that is commonly referred to in our culture.

There's and indisputable karmic tie between you, and it's a powerful one, to be sure. Prhaps you don't "believe in" reincarnation, the cause of such things as karmic ties. It doesn't matter. Not believing in it doesn't cancel its reality or keep it from working. It's just that certain matters are a whole lot easier to deal with when you comprehend the why of them.

I hate using the term "Soul Mates" because it is so general, and not everyone is out searching for their soul mate(s), some of us are just trying to figure out why things are happening the way they are, knowing there has to be a reason, wanting to make sense of things. Like "what on earth is go'in on here?" hahahahahaha
