I recently fell for a reckless, yet charming and charismatic man who has his sun in sagittarius, mars in sagittarius and venus in capricorn. I have a sun in capricorn, moon in sagittarius and venus in scorpio. Long story short, it was an instant attraction. Like we had a gravitational pull towards one another. Night one, we kissed passionately all night and night two...well, I'm sure I don't have to spell it out. We saw eachother for 5 months (this is a guy who has never had a girlfriend because he can't commit, he doesn't even call girls back!). As soon as it started getting "serious" and when he realized that he felt feelings for me that he's never really felt for another woman, he sabatoged it by making out with a friend of mine! So I broke it off but of course I can't seem to get him out of my head. A friend told me that I should have stayed away as soon as I knew he also had his mars in Sagittarius. Are all sag men like this? Should I avoid them at all costs? And why do I have such intense and passionate attractions to men with this placement? Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

The Sagittarius men I know, yes.
However, there is one man who is very committed and has always been commitment minded ( I am guessing though that Sag isn't dominant in his chart, I think more Earthy....).. very atypical. So I wouldn't say ALL. But it is one of those things, where once they grow up a bit and feel they've 'seen it all', want to settle down, but it still must be an energetic free relationship.. not free in the sense of seeing other people, but not limiting... have fun together and expand each other's consciousness, continual growth never nullifies things.
They need stimulus and learning and travel.. if not in body, then in mind. They do see committment differently than many.. they like 'friendships' and even if you were seeing each other for years, sleepiong together, all the nine yards, they would still classify you as a 'friend'... innocently.. " But, how can you be hurt? We are friends, I told you before I wasn't ready for a relationship ( even if he implies one)." Charm Charm Charm...... He means it. It is sincere. Which is frustrating if you happen to love him.
I am a Sagittarius man's confidente right now. I know things firsthand. He is textbook Sagittarius, I analyze him astrologically, while he confides in me. ( Well, I AM a Scorpio, you know .)

Why do you have attraction to passionate, intense, charming men?
Hmmmmmm.... Because you have a pulse . That's an easy one.

Sxygrl7 -

1. Do you know his Moon?

2. I think you just gave me a clue as to why I've been stating my alternative preferences, boundaries, etc., with future lovers so blatantly FIRST THING. It allows me to check out their responses. If they know how to be really cool about it, they're in. If not, he's a dud.

3. When you say you have those passionate feelings for men with "that" placement, which placement are you referring to?

I've dated lots of Sag's in my life. Each is slightly different depending basically on their Moon. They are such simple creatures, you really only have to know their Sun & Moon!

Sag's are the archers no matter what. You must ALWAYS make sure he is sharing where he's aiming. If not, you'll be left in the dust.

Pixel's right...

And like I say, I've known many, all GORGEOUS, charming, etc. The Scorpio influence is intrigued by the challenge of getting him to commit. But if Scorpio has a short fuse, he'll quickly reveal it for her. (Yup - he's that nice!)

But hey. Sag rules the hips. Need I say more?

Unfortunately I don't know his moon. I wish I did, that would probably answer some more questions. Everything that you guys are saying is true. ESPECIALLY about the part about keeping it casual; "friends." That's exactly what he said when I confronted him about making out with my friend. "But we aren't committed. Were not in a SERIOUS relationship." (Not that he is even capable of being in that type of relationship. ) To me, if were sleeping together it's a little more than just "buds." But with my venus in scorpio, I MUST be the center of his world. I demand it! I guess I did like the challenge of trying to "tame the beast." And I was good at keeping it casual, after all I've got a sag moon. I just don't like being disrespected. Oh, and what I meant about men with "this influence" was alot of sag in their chart.

Yeah, just try and find out where he's aiming. Remember, they like to think they are aiming high. You're just a neutral partner as you find out his aim, and remember that sometimes you just have to leave yourself out of the picture until you are sure you can handle the truth, which ever way it goes. You must learn to exercise your Scorpio Venus as responsibly as possible for everyone involved here.

As for astrological influences, I've seen Sag's work out with the influences you've listed for yourself. Sag and Cap or Scorpio works out. So does Sag with Aquarius, Pisces, and other Sag's. Sometimes it works with any of the other two fire signs, Aries or Leo, but as long as they are grounded.

And last but not least, a la Mr. & Mrs. Ozzy Osbourne, Libra can work with Sag too. I dated a Sag with Libra Moon who was an artist, but we were kind of young and I still had training wheels on my confidence and emotional side. If you want to chase a Sag away quickly, just let him suspect that you have an end plan for him. Just because you're hormones are telling you it's time to find "the one" and begin nesting, it doesn't work in neat little packages like that with Sag.

I have Moon in Cancer, and sometimes their bluntness gets to be too much. I feel better around people who think before they speak. I also have a powerful Mars, Mercury & Neptune in Scorpio which Sag's dig a lot, and I can ride bareback, which they dig even more.

So as you can see, I've had my challenges.

I do not date Sag's anymore, maybe because that "little boy" mentality just started to turn me off.

PS::: If you let me know his Moon, I can tell you a lot more.

Mars in Sag isn't all bad by itself, I have that placement in the first house and I follow my partner's lead. I agree, I would look at the moon sign, you can find it if you know the day and year he was born.

Hi gloria,

If you have time and you don't mind, can you please give me your interpretation of a Sag man with his Moon in Aqua?

I know someone with these placements.

Lol, I think I recall what you've said about Aqua influenced men in your posts before, so your answers here might be sort of funny, lol.

sxygrl, my first, longest, and best relationship ever was with a Sag, who I consider my soulmate. He broke it off with me after 2 years because he wanted to see what else was out there. I was his first girlfriend, and with my venus in scorpio I was kind of possessive. we stayed good friends for a while after that. but now that was years ago and I haven't seen or heard from him in years...although i still think of and miss him.

I hear you girlfriend! I think Sag's are meant to come and go in and out of your lives. Maybe when their 50 they'll grow up. I am dating a cancer now. He's wonderful, caring, loving and treats me like a queen...and I'm totally bored. I still think about that Sag all the time and my friends keep telling me to just let it go, he's not worth it but I miss that chemistry we had. Of course I will never let him know I am pining away for him. He thinks I don't care (the good actress I am ) and I'm going to keep it that way. I played games with him the whole time beacuse I knew he was a player. I made him think I had all these other guy's I was seeing and he was just one on the list of many. Sneaky, I know but I knew what I was dealing with. I was a mystery to him. A challenge. He always wanted to know who was calling me and where I was, if I was with a guy. It was somewhat true, I was seeing other people but what he didn't know was that I was crazy about him and wanted to be with JUST him. Those other guys I could care less about. But I knew as soon as I let him know that, he would run. So I just kept up the facade.
For his moon, I still don't know but he was born December 15, 1974. I believe you need a time but I don't know what it is. Maybe you guys can figure it out. I'm not going to call and ask him. After all, were not talking.

According to astro.com, with Sherman Oaks, as the location, his moon was in Capricorn 17'58.
That's pretty midpoint, degree wise, so chances are it is an accurate Moon.
Hope that helps.

Hey Playful -

Yeah, I've got my South Node and Midheaven in Aqua, so I feel this really really strong de-ja-vu when it comes to strong Aqua or Uranus influences.

Sag guy with Aqua Moon - Right away I know he's a good guy, one of the nicest combo's ever. The Aqua Moon affects him very powerfully, giving him flashes of insight which may cause him to retreat for a while so he can dabble with new things.

Of all the signs, Sag's & Aqua's are THE MOST freedom-oriented. So if this is a romantic interest, my advice would be to not even attempt to accommodate him unless you are a definite Aqua type.

I've also read from more than one source that the guys with this Sun/Moon combo make natural thespians, and many live knowing this, but for some reason, do not fulfill it.

John F. Kennedy, Jr. is a PERFECT example of this combo. Idealistic to the core. Did you know he always wanted to be an actor but didn't because Jackie was SO against it? (which makes me really ****** off at Jackie - it's more important to follow your inner calling than to try to control what others think of you)...

Someone had once said about JFK, Jr. that he felt a huge sense of relief when his mother passed, although he would never admit it, but because she was so controlling that way.

He even broke up with Darryl Hanna because "mommy" wanted nothing to do with her hippy azz, and she is a Sag with Cappy Moon!!!!)

Another actor who is sometimes said to have a Cappy Moon, & sometimes said to have an Aqua Moon, is Brad Pitt. He DID become the actor. And Jennifer is an Aqua w/Sag Moon.

If we are talking about a Sag with Cappy Moon, then it changes things a little bit. He desires more of a Capricorn type, than the freedom-loving Aqua type.

Two of the most serious relationships with guys I've had were Sag with Cappy Moons.

Yeah, I have a thread or two on Cappy Moons because I'm head-over-heels in love with a Libra with a Singleton Cappy Moon in the 1st!! He's also got strong Sag/Jupiter/9th House influences, so he's very similar to a Sag with Cappy Moon.

So maybe someone "up there" is trying to tell me something about my inclination towards Cappy Moons?

One of the many things I've learned here, it's probably due to my Venus & Pluto in Virgo, two placements which completely sets the stage for AUTOMATIC attraction to Cappy Moons. Very much a "swooning" effect, to the point I feel I've not CHOSEN this person, but that he's been chosen for me by a higher power.

And all this is probaby also due to my Jupter & Saturn Conjunct in Capricorn.

Sxygirl - if he has the Cappy Moon, you two should give it the good try.

Wow! I wonder if that's accurate. Actually, I know where he was born. He was born in Spokane, Washington not Sherman Oaks. Tell me if that changes it a bit. Thank u! That would explain why we were so drawn to eachother since my sun is in capricorn. Interesting!

Yep, still Cappy.
I copy pasted the info.. all he planets should be right, but no house positions. As I used noon as the birth time.

Still it will give you good insight into his character. He is STILL VERY SAGITTARIUS!!!

Sun in Sagittarius, Moon in Capricorn

Your Sagittarian impulsiveness and rashness benefit from the propriety and reliability inherent in Capricorn. Ambition is channeled toward higher learning and thought. Your life has form and order, and you go about your affairs in a methodical fashion. There is an aura of respectability about all aspects of your life. Your love life, however, can be somewhat less rewarding. You seem self-contained, and you find difficulty in letting go enough to accept another human being. Ruled by your ambitious and practical nature, you approach others with caution, often suspicion. The key to a more harmonious self lies in achieving a proper balance between your impulsive, optimistic, individuality and your steadfast, plodding personality. Try to retain the buoyancy without giving free reign to flightiness.

born on 15 Dec 1974 local time 12:00 noon

hey sxygrl, I know what you mean about pining over the sag...I once dated a leo for over a year because he reminded me of my saggy soulmate! lol. All other relationships have paled in comparison. I dated a virgo (i'm a virgo too) and it was soooo extremely boring and predictable that I couldn't take it anymore. Whatever you decide, follow your heart and be honest this time...don't play games if you can help it

I don't think so.
cos I was knowing a guy with aries sun that is act incredilibly ridiculous .on the other hand I am now crazy for another men that is with aries sun that is gentle sweet, and adorable.
it really depended on the person.each sun sign have good side and the bad side .like in the light side there is the dark part.in the dark side there is the light part.
I guess the experience is called karma.
don't get sad.I am sure someone good will come along.and you did a right move.

My Dad is a Sag with Cappy Moon. He still adores my Aqua Sun/Moon in Scorp/Leo Asc. Mum. Next month they'll be married for 36 years.
