I sometimes feel that way about Mars in Scorpio men. They're sexy, though.

virgo, Mars in Cancer is an astrological term. You know that at the time of your birth, the Sun was in Virgo. All the other planets were in particular signs too.

My first ex hubby had Mars in Cancer, and no earth in his chart. Aries Sun, he threw me out after being negligent to his emotional needs after his AA meeting. His neighbour, and best friend was there, but I was off feeding myself selfish me. Apparently I was worthless in the space of one day. But then he was just out of rehab when I met him and I thought that showed maturity!

Shows how much love is relative to what else is out there. Better to aim high.

He had great taste in clothes though, I still have the things he bought me and I have modeled my tastes after him.

Well, hey, live and learn, AJ. Sorry to hear that. I could never deal with a Mars in Cancer guy myself. Again that is. I was engaged to one....for one whole month....oh oh oh, but get this!!! He was a Cancer Sun too!!!! Did I mention this one before? The guy who couldn't talk about his feelings for anything, especially his pentup rage over his parents' divorce and his dad running off and living happily with anothe woman? Who suffered from a very unpleasent GI problem? Who was unhealthly, overly attached to his mother? Who would steal his mother's undergarments and wear them when he was stressed out? Who was so sexually repressed he nearly had me in tears? Who tried to get me pregnant while we were engaged - despite his sexual repression - because he sensed I was going to call it off, and if I was pregnant, so he thought, I'd be "forced" to marry him? Who I dumped after I confronted him about his psycho-sexual problems (he cried, of course) and he refused to get therapy?? Who was the "one" that finally made me say, ENOUGH ALREADY and become devoutly single???

You've been through three of these guys? You deserve a Congressional Medal of Valor, girl!

I haven't known many others but the few I've come across in studying the charts of famous peeps, it seems they'd all be serious contenders for the Emotional Dysfunctionality gold medal. (sorry, cheesy Olympics reference - couldn't help it. ).

I'm so glad I have an offbeat, kinky Aqua Mars - it has its problems, but that's usually just being too dogmatic. I'll take dogmatic to psycho-sexual repression anyday (it's a lot more fun, and you get to **** off people you don't like, so hey!).

And another "problem" - heh - is that we Mars in Aqua peeps tend to be too kinky for the rest of y'all. Granted, that doesn't sound like a real problem to me , but I'm going to pled the 5th on that, except to say that I was definitely too kinky for that Mars and Cancer ex. Hah!

I guess it's my Cancer Moon which attracted these Mars in Cancer guys. Hey, I like some mystery, but I just need these guys to be more forthright regarding their motivations. Especially since I'm a total loser in the romance department to begin with.

I'm feeling extremely depressed, and just weird, and yeah I've got meds, but right now it's like my body is going into full rebellious mode, just rejecting anything that isn't the warm safe hug I ultimately need.

Oh - I can just picture Mr. L saying something like to the extent of sorry they failed me. But is it really meant to go that way? I don't know yet.

Yeah, it's after almost a whole year of getting over everything that you realize you ARE better. But it's a biatch of a ride until you get there.

As for not doing anything because I feel bad, too late! Even though I feel so much better now having talked and seen him. Don't know if we are going to be just friends from now on, or what.

I don't know much about those celebs, except that there's tons of rumors that have been going around about both Gere and Reeves that they are sexually "confused," to put it nicely. Reeves in particular is rumored to be easily seduced by powerful men in the entertainment industry. In other words, a big insecure **** puppy, but he's too embarassed to own up to his past homosexual encounters. And he's a Virgo too, so you know he's got some seriously deep neuroses. I once met a girl whose roomate in LA had dated Reeves briefly, so she ran into him at her apartent from time to time and said he's an emotional mess and acted very self-conscious and insecure.

Another not quite as famous Cancer moon that I know more about is former punk rocker turned spoken word artist Henry Rollins. This guy's chart is a complete sad sack case, especially in the emotional-relationship department - I read one astrologer's intrepretation of his chart, and she summized the guy was doomed to be single because he can't cope with his emotional problems. Aqua Sun, Cap moon, Pis merc, Aries Venus and Cancer Mars if I remember correctly. He admits he's emotionally unbalanced, more or less, and has acted like it all his career. He says he got into punk rock because it allowed him to express a lot of pent up rage (poor man's therapy, he calls it) and he has also claimed he feels more intimate with dead people (through reading their book or listening to their music) or with his audience than with real people in ordinary life, who by and large annoy or enrage him. Check out his books to see what I'm talking about - the man's full of long-held grudges (how Cancerian, and especially at his parents), p*ss, vinegar, bile and venom. Probably is a borderline personality, because he tends to view people either as pure, exalted and saintly, or unworthy of existing, with no shades of grey. A real charmer.

Hey AJ, I can dig the depression, I've been struggling with it the past few days...since Friday. It's does feel like my body's just insisting on being depressed. I don't take meds anymore, but manage my depression with diet, herbs and exercized. And god have I been exercizing, but it only give me a temporarily reprieve fromt he depression, that usually is worst at night. Been watching my diet too (I guess I can thank all those Virgo transits for keeping me attentive to health issues dsespite feeling like **** mentally/emotionally).

I guess I too just want a hug. Or someone to be nice in a tender way to me, and just give a **** that I've been feeling down. I have been feeling lonely lately - I know it's part of the depression and it'll past, but it still sucks. I haven't made any friends here since I moved in temporarily with my parents, I'm 800 miles away from my friends now and my family aren't exactly the hugsy-kissy, pay-attention-to-one-another types. So when I get feeling depressed, it gets very lonely here. So I feel your pain. Hope things get better soon for ya.
