i am a cancer girl (28/06/1978) dating a pisces man (23/02/1976).. we have been together for 9 months and he is very serious about me - he proposed but after a week i told him i needed more time.. i had just come out of a long messy breakup with a gemini i'd been with for 4 years, and was / am still recovering from that.

i am 26 and he is 28, and we are both at the age of looking to settle down in the next few years - he would make an excellent father and husband, he is a really caring, compassionate guy (studying to be a nurse) but something in me is holding back and i'm not sure why...

we are both interested in spiritual / astrology / soul stuff.. he is not really anything like the kind of guy i am normally attracted to, and yet i get a feeling so often that i *know* him somehow on a soul level - as though my mind is refusing to recognise him in this shape because it knows him as someone else - does that make sense?

i don't know how to do the charts etc, but i was wondering if someone could give me a hand in drawing them up and making some sense of them? i would really appreciate any advice on the cancer/pisces relationship, or anything else anyone wants to add!

You are feeling the connection is not always emotional on his side, but you are a Cancer, so you are sometimes uncomfortable with emotion so you project it on to your mate. Chances are the Gemini was ultra moody and changeable all the time, which eventually got messy. At first you liked it, ask yourself if the Pisces is connecting emotionaly enough, is this what he wants?

and in answer to your question re emotional stuff - yes my gemini ex was moody and unreliable (clinical depression didnt help) and tryinf for 4 years to make it work really gouged a hole out of my soul, faith and sense of connection to the divine.

my current bf on the otherhand is almost the complete opposite, doesnt look much like who i thought i would be with but is (mostly! calm, stable, loving and sincere - and wants to marry me! eep!

but i am so lost on the winds of fear and guilt and regret that i am finding it hard to share his sense of rightness for this relationship = i guess i am looking for some advice!

Thanks for that website - I am in the process of reading through it - this astrology stuff is SO confusing to the unitiated!

I am still hoping for some advice from someone *looks sideways in the direction of Natasha and Gemstar...* who can read all those numbers and give me some tips on soulmate potentiality with my mr. pisces..

FIrst, you have a nice connection with the Venus-neptune aspect with him in synastry. THere are other connections that look romantic and yet, there may be an on-again-off again feel. Do you ever feel like that? Into him than not into him?

Why is it that you do not feel the 'rightness' in this relationship? What are you feeling?

When it is the RIGHT one for you, you just KNOW. There is a knowing that cannot be explained between the two people. Like: there is NO QUESTION this person is for me. Astrology can give you all the science, but it is in your instinct and gut that you get the direction for your soul. Does this make sense to you?

What are your thoughts?

i am so up and down with him and i know it's not fair to him.. but he has stuck it out for the last 10 months and been nothing but patient and loving (and occasionally frustrated but hey he his human ) he says he just 'knew' with me pretty much from the beginning, and has enough faith to try and make it work for both of us.

i just wish i could share that sense of rightness all the time - i do get it sometimes when i get hypnotised by his blue eyes and feel like i can see his soul - or when i see him with a baby it is this gut reaction of MUST BREED WITH THIS MAN!!! *laughs*

but then i wake up in the morning or have other random moments when i forget to breathe and it all gets too difficult and scary and unsure...

is there anything else from the charts you can tell me? i tried reading through that information but havent finished and am feeling kinda overwhelmed...
