Well future, your nickname says it all. Uncertainty ahead, but one can only hope that the synchronicity of the universe is working for you, no matter where you find yourself.

I hope everyone here that responded to my post, who has found themselves in similar situations, experiencing some of the same emotions, remains strong on their journey.

There are stages in your life, where the only relationship calling for your attention is the one with your own self.

i know this post is old but it reminded me of on an episode of sex and the city where samantha breaks up with richard and he says 'i love you samantha' and she says 'me too but i love me more.' lol...i dont think it was a betrayal what you did but you broke your heart too but in the end you are the most important person.

I am not sure if it is about being "the most important" person as it is about being true to him and herself.Even if it hurts at first.
I think he is as important as she is; sadly one has to loose at first to gain a better future.

I think I know how you feel, although I am the one on the receiving end. My husband of 2 years told me the exact same thing you want to say to your boyfriend. I was completely destroyed. It took me about 2 months to get myself together again although I am still heartbroken, and cry when I think about it, but am trying to move on. In the end, I am grateful he told me now, before I wasted anymore of my life with him.

You are not doing him any favors by putting this off. The sooner you tell him, the sooner he can go on with his life.
