I went through your chart in great detail, and I must say, you have no negative aspects that jump out at me. Certainly nothing that would lead to depression. You do seem to have a lot of earth and water in your chart though, and with a sun in Capricorn and a moon in Scorpio you might have a propensity towards moodiness and even brooding at times – but that’s completely ok! You’ll get a lot of thinking done in your times of introspection. Take it from a Cancer – moodiness isn’t a bad thing! : ) In general, I’m extremely impressed with how balanced your basic birth chart is – you have a lot of things going for you, and in general based on the way your planets were aligned at birth, I’d say you are a brilliant and commutative person with a lot of potential for happiness and inner peace.

If you are suffering from a great deal of discouragement in your life, I suggest you look to the factors and circumstances that are affecting you at this time, as opposed to your birth chart. What’s occurring in your life at this time, my friend? Are external factors in your life making this difficult for you? Are there things you could remove from your life that would lighten up some of the load?

One of the things I did notice is that your planetary positions for this year seem to be bringing you a lot of change and transformation. You have your Uranus square with Uranus – this could mean that you are going through a period of growth, shrugging off societal restrictions, or rebelling against established standards. This might be a difficult time for you. Your Saturn is also triune with Uranus this month which also points to a period of change in your life. Change is never easy – whether it be inner transformation, or exterior upheavals. However, the good news is that change, while painful, generally reaps positive results in the end. Like a caterpillar, you may be experiencing the pain of alteration inside the cocoon of your life, but at the end of all that tribulation, a butterfly will be born and you’ll learn first-hand how to fly.
