I more thing about the whole marriage and children thing! I mean you say you are depressed at 28 cause your not married yet! I always thought I wanted to be married and have kids too, but I'm 36 and I'm beginning to see all my friends and family have divorce and bad marriages and Bratty children and I'm rather thankful now that I hadn't followed that path! Do not take it so literally and Never be pessimistic! I did that a few years ago was gonna give up Astrology all together, thought it was making me negative and the information I was reading was what I didn't want to hear! But I realized I am exactly where I am suppose to be today, and haven't made any Real Huge Mistakes, because God Knows I couldn't handle that, it would kill me and Crush my Bright Spirit!

You do understand. And it’s so rare to find that kind of feeling… People around me is in a different position and won’t see it.

I’ll try and get on with work not thinking about love. That’s quite hard though. I truly feel lonely, I crave for someone, a particular man I may have not met yet… I’m getting anxious as if the time window was getting really close, I’ll have only a very narrow frame to recognise him and I’m so terrified of missing him… I’m so numb now. All those lessons were very close to break me, to bend me irremediably… I feel like that tree in the middle of a storm; if the wind pushed just a bit harder, its trunk would be torn… I’ve heard that God never puts more on you than you can take… I’m about to reach the limit, and it’s scary to see the rope stretching to the limit, about to snap…

I try to help others. I have always smiled to everyone no matter how sore and sad I was. I always pushed. And this supposed karma debt is still unyielding. I have learnt a hell of a lot. But there is not much more I can do, especially when I’m so close to crumbling. And now those lessons are starting to backfire because I can no longer take it. I’m angry. So angry. My optimism, my fearless entusiasm is turning sour, my temper is getting worse… I want to punch… Someone is delving into my guts.

I can focus my energy in my career. That’s the easy part. It’s just taking over. I have been told by previous employers that I give out a strange aura. I get respect straight away. I command authority. I can’t believe that I get where I’m workwise. I’ll be in the UK coordinating the Spanish and British teams for a important project. They head hunted me. Two departments are still fighting over me… They take me with them as a talisman… I emanate that strange magnetic energy, I eye-lock them and firmly shake hands… as if I was an older man… If it was only that simple with relationships…

I live in Spain now. I have lived in the UK for a few years. I reckon their way of living is closer to yours than ours. Spain is more family oriented, it is normal to be single at 30 but most people have a stable partner who is like a spouse. It’s rare, at least much more rare than in the UK, to get divorced or to change partner… My friends are starting to get married after about 10 years of relationship… While I never find anyone, while I bounce from a heartbreak to the next, while I’m still at square one. I don’t want it because they have it. I always wanted it, before they started to be lucky. It makes you feel as if there was something wrong with you which makes you undeserving.

I must admit here in Spain, it’s not common to have such an interesting life as I do, so much projection proffesionally, so many adventures… to have travelled that much. I know my friends envy me for that… But that doesn’t change the fact that I still want to be loved. And success and thrill does not substitutes it. They don’t know how it feels to be alone. To feel alone. I don’t wish it to anyone.

On one hand, we mirrored each other quite a bit, although he was a bit more harsh in his approach and admittedly would 'steamroll' (his words) anyone in his path, he's that ambitious in just about every area of his life, even when it comes to love, nothing stops him from achieving his goal...in this sense, I would first say we were twin souls...I noticed when we first met, our similarities, and I've mentioned on this board before that I felt at times as though I were the female version of him...

...this man also touched my heart more deeply and profoundly than any other man in my life, at this point, I wonder if there will ever be any man I can reach those same depths and heights with...

On the other hand, we had some pretty jarring quarrels, they were out of love for ourselves (we both are a tad selfish, but also giving to the same extent) and each other, wanting to stand our ground for who we each were and at the same time recognizing each other...a passionate pair we were/are...so much love that was out there between us, never any question of that.

I guess I'm just musing and reflecting, one could also say we were soul mates - teaching each other so much, but at the same time exposing so much in ourselves that was always there...very bittersweet.

Well, I don’t know, I suppose you get to know who is/was your Twin or Soul Mates only at the end. During your life you think this guy or that other one is your Twin… but then you meet someone else who you interact much more powerfully with… And then you discard the previous as your Twin… Recognising Soul Mates is simple… the tricky part is knowing which one is your Twin if any…

You mean that the UK will bring me more lonely times? Well, yes, I lived there for already 4 years and it was placid and introspective, but also terribly lonely. And yes, I appeared much more vulnerable than I do here in Spain.

And yes, I was surrounded by a mysterious aura. I used to make guys mad about me with that secrecy. And yes, I was idealised AND then deceived. WOW. There were false promises, secrets and shallow friends. It still hurts… So you mean it will be the same over the two years I’ll be there? I was so excited about it… Is it the same England than Scotland? I’ll spend half the time in every place…

Well, yes, in Spain I’m quite combative. Yes, especially against macho man attitude… I’m far too strong here, usually outwitting men and making them appear as weak almost involuntarily. No, I’m not average here… Quite uncommon…

Unfortunately, I don’t think I will be going to live in Italy… I have nothing there. I don’t speak Italian, no many business opportunities there, I don’t know anyone…

I have this annoying tendency to get the worst of everything so if something nice happens it's kind of a great gift and a joyous turn of events... A lovely surprise, an unexpected present...

But yes, no matter what my past has been, I need to make a huge effort to start seeing things under a positive outlook. Otherwise, my life will always be gloomy...

You are amazing! You get an Amen from the congregation! It's only in my 30's that I have become more @ peace with myself and I am SO grateful for it. It has required alot of soul searching and brutal yet loving honesty with myself.

This life is an amazing one and I wouldn't trade it for anything else!

"I have a friend who is Manic Depressive/Psychotic who is a very Interesting and Exciting person to be around, she has great confidence and is usually Up, but when she is down and gets low she's says this funny thing as she is Rambling on and on and on, whatever is wrong at that moment. It's a funny statement to me because I am so used to being Envious of people for Purely Superficial reasons and my friend will say:

Thank you Steelrose for your kind, understanding words. It's never easy, and somehow know this is all a lesson and past life stuff. I knew this immediately when I met him that I had known him in different lifetimes. We connected and felt so comfortable right away, which happens so rarely for me. I seem to always be the one on the outside, looking in on the arena of love/love affairs. Well not to give up hope, right? I'm still counting on sue.g's full moon love-in and my own pink candle to bring love in closer.

Virgolibra, what you are describing is TYPICAL. It depends on what position they are in, but to be honest, even if you think they are a soulmate, what is the likelihood of them thinking you a soulmate - by how much per cent? And even if they did, how likely would they be to act on it, and by how much per cent? Best case scenario: 100%. Worst case scenario: 0%. Realistic scenario: 10%.

Don't think I am not empathic, I have been in that situation and quite frankly, it sucks. You don't want to be in any situation that sucks. You are always calling him, you have to make all the effort - I know exactly how that feels. Yes, he may be scared. So what? If he was worth his salt he would contact you. If his life is comfortable as it is, he is unlikely to change it very quickly. MEN DON'T MAKE CHANGES, certainly not as often or as quickly as women do, because women are more flexible.

Like I said, I have been there, I know exactly how it feels, and to my mind it is wasted energy. Forget him and try to find someone who will "bother"!
