VIRGOS...yummy..This virgo guy that I dated off and on for 2 years was an incredible experience...Ok, well we didn't date. We were friends with benefits and there were lots. There was an immediate attraction, one that we tried to fight for months before we finally gave in. His mars in my 8th house; my mars in his 8th house, venus in 8th, moon in 12. Plus his uranus was exactly conjunct my ascendent. Very spicy! Everything seemed to operate on another level. When he and I were together, alone, time stopped. It was an amazing experience. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! spellbound.IP: Logged |

Taurus women are wonderful. I absolutely love them. On a purely animalistic level I'm irresistably drawn to them. Taurus, Pisces and Scorpio women seem to intrigue me the most. IP: Logged |

I came up with something a while ago that i called simply 'The Mars Hypothesis'. Basically i noticed that to a statistically significant level, having Mars in a sign will attract the corresponding Sun sign of the opposite sex. For example (as if i need to give one); my Mars is in Scorpio and i attract Scorpios to a noticable degree. I usually find that they're very choosy types and often don't suffer fools, but they definately warm to me. I've often been surprised that someone so nice goes for me above anyone else, but you can't fight the forces of nature. Clearly the effect is probably stronger the closer the orb might in the synastry between one's Mars and another's Sun. Moreover the Mars Hypothesis effects strongly the Sun sign from which it falls in the 5th house. For example my Mars in Scorpio has a draw on Cancerian women aswell i've noticed I love the way water attracts water - unspoken, telepathic really.IP: Logged |

Personally, I subscribe to the belief that a woman's Mars describes the sort of man she is attracted to, while a man's Venus describes the type of woman he is attracted to.But I've only been into astrology for the last two years and as far as I know, I can only attest to this Mars/Venus hypothesis with my disastrous single Virgo experience (her Mars was in Scorpio) where she broke down and threw herself at me. Anyway, by this theory, I guess my Venus in Scorpio means that a Scorpio woman would suit me best. I've only had physical flings with one Scorpio girl and one Scorpio-almost-Sagittarius girl. Interestingly, in both situations we were great friends, fooled around a few times, then went back to being great friends. No emotional discourse, though I'm not sure how well I'd deal with dating either of them. But I believe it is my Venus in Scorpio, compounded by my Sun in Scorpio that must explain my wonderlust for Taurus girls. IP: Logged |

Hmmm... I am a Mars in Pisces Sag / Sun woman here..... Pisces also rules my 7th house (it's ruler is in my 3rd house in Scorpio).I am not attracted to Pisces men. I have only dated one seriously, but I seem to attract my fair share of Taurus Sun's or Taurus risings. The last 4 significant relationships have all been with Taurus risings but the new man in my life is a Taurus Sun / Sag Moon / Cancer rising. Usually the men will also have a prominant Gemini or Virgo placement (Either Merc in Gemini / Virgo, Sun in Virgo or Saturn in Gemini / Virgo) One reason I may attract Taurus Sun or Taurus rising men is due to the fact that I have a strong Pluto placement - it conjuncts my Ascendant within 2 degrees and is in my first house. The men that I have dated have had varying Venus placements from Venus in Libra, Venus in Leo, Venus in Gemini, Venus in Cancer and now Venus in Taurus. The strongest sexual affinity I have had has with the guy that had Venus in Gemini (he also had Mars in Sag conjuncting my Sun / Venus while trining my Moon) and the Venus in Cancer (we had several strong pluto / venus contacts). I was drawn immensely to both, but it was more of a sexual desire. IP: Logged |

Good generally. I seem to have the most chance with Gemini's for some reason. When i go out with them though i wish they had more scorpio in them.------------------ 4th December 1974 18:00GMT Isle of Wight UK IP: Logged |

marsconjunct is that cos ya need em to go deeper than the intellecutual level? Ive never dated a leo man. I have wonderful leo friends.. one of whom is gay and not my type so ho hum. we get on like a house on fire. I married a Libra with moon in Leo, cancer mars and venus in virgo.. with 2 sets of opposite signs... but he also had neptune in his 1st house and was a habitual drunk as well as being bipolar. I left him for an Aries sun ( my Virgo mars is sat bang on my asc.. Ive dated a couple of aries men.. i love em.. theyre so active and fun.)
I had a lot of water ex partners, cancer is a running theme in inner planets or asc... but too much cancer pixie goes all aqua rebel. Had a fun fling with an aqua once. Was the best casual relationship ive ever had... omg the sex was rocking! altho we probably were too into our independance at the time for it to go further... but he was the sweetest booty call you'd ever have the pleasure of.. hed stay for breakfast and hang out naked, chatting about deep stuff.. and we'd see each other for fun and frolics again.. Still makes me laugh in th pub too. Apparently he wanted to see more of me but i never got told this. Ho Hum. Hes a dad now! in fact ive only had breif encounters with other aqua men. but they were all sweet and stuff.. pixie

Well deeper 'on' the intellectual level. Gemini Sun's never seem intellectual to me unless Mars is there or something. One of my Gemini's i felt used to laugh at Astrology aswell which is a fairly major flaw as far as i'm concerned. Deeper on an emotional level aswell. I co-attract Geminis but i like the emotional constancy of Scorpio. Most Gemini's are definately 'split'. P*sses you off after a while. You only like them when they're being jolly and warm. The other darker side of them isn't worth knowing as it doesn't 'become them'. Scorpios can be psychotic, but personally i can handle the intensity. hello all! so excited to find this forum! my experience both personally and in studying others' charts where non-compatible sun signs but other factors ie; conjuncts, trines, opposites, sextiles and squares, even compatable elements can make for a wierd sort of attraction, where one or both just cant let the other go! at current, i am a pisces sun, stellium in aquarius (mars, mercury and jupiter) invloved with an infuriating aquarius sun male who's sun is conjunct my stellium and has a stellium in pisces (jupiter, venus and mars) that is in a wide conjunct with my sun! now, given to traditional astrology, aquarius man and pisces woman not a pretty pair make! but we have chemistry, oh boy do we have chemistry, we have the uncanny ability to push each other's buttons but we are very drawn to each other and i think really genuinely like each other. he is 11 years my senior and that makes for a bit of a generational gap, however... could use some help on this one as well. i think he has caught the fish, for now anyway, but how does a fish catch icy cold air?... peace love n light!IP: Logged |

I am a Leo so I've date only once an Aquarius! And was a HUGE and painful deception... Usually i keep distance from them because all aquarians that I know are completly uninteresting and I am not going well at all with them, they annoyed me a lot! My mum is an Aqua and we are fighting almost all the time! I am sooooo happy when she is away from me! I don't have any aqua placement maybe that's why nothing is attracting that area is only opposing my Sun! On other hand as I have the Sun a bit after the cusp of 3rd house, I've noticed that my biggest love was drawn by people with the Sun around the end of taurus and biginning of gemini. The most lasting, special, and strongest ones! One of my special ones is from my early childhood (but platonic one...which I am sure will never die... btw~hoping won't be platonic forever)is end of taurus. Other special one was with the sun in the very biginning of gemini! The passion was very strong and intense, last 8 years and we are still friends! We use to have a LOTS of squares in our synastry!!! (his gemini stellium was square my one from virgo) My first BF was cancer but with gemini stellium (again) and our relationship last for three years !!! My husband (hopefully soon will be my EX-husband )is a scorpio from which I am trying very hard getting rid of (as we heard others here in the same situation...with a scorpio) We have our Suns square, our Moons square ... but attraction was big only in the beginning. I have Mars in Scorpio exactly on both his Sun and Mercury. I want to say I had a bad feeling when I heard for the first time he is a scorpio , even I wasn't so much into astrology that time, but was a feeling which I ignored it! And I am sorry for that now! Even I have Mars in scorpio, he was the only scorpio I was attracted to! But I like martian looklike guys We are together for 11 years but in the last four ones I was just ... surviving the relationship ... IP: Logged |

I've also noticed that with each of them, (because was longlasting relationships), always I have tight almost exactly conjuction of them asteroid Apollo and one of my personal planet. In synastry this aspect can give big and strong attractions from the one with personal planet is on somebody's Apollo! ( I don't know if I express myself right...)with my husband his Apollo and Pluto on my Venus (i think Pluto is spoling the thing) with my platonic love his Apollo and Jupiter on my Mercury ( maybe that's way he is always in my mind) with gemini sun(8 years rel) his Apollo on my Sun and Jupiter ( I was mad for him and he was 14 years older than me but he was looking great! deah! geminii ... ) with my first BF his Apollo and Pluto was on my Juno, which is between Moon and Venus but still very near by them so you can say it conjunct them as well but not so tight.

Well,as a Cancer Sun, my opposite sign is supposed to be Capricorn.Although I've never dated anyone of that sign, several of my best "platonic" friends have been Capys, including my dearest and oldest friend. I think they are lovely, innately refined people in general. I also enjoy their sense of Tradition and protocol and ambition. I realize my emotional nature can be a little too much for them, so I tend to keep my heart under my sleeve when with them in public, lol. All in all, I think their hearts are definately in the right place. silvermoon IP: Logged |

Did I already reply to this thread???My first love was an Aries.Libra moon and Virgo rising. 100% physical union. I took it too seriously and got hurt. He's the only ex I ever missed and the only one I dont keep any contact. The difficult part was to let him go. All our differences will end up in bed. So we carried on for 3 yrs without any mental compatibility. Nowadays I just run from Arians IP: Logged |

I've only been seriously, profoundly drawn to one Cancer woman in my life...and while nothing ever really happened between us, there has always been a connection and we've been close friends for almost 20 years. However, I do have an inexplicable draw to Venus in Leo women. Aqua is pretty strong in my chart (Moon & Mercury, with the latter my chart ruler), and both are in my 5th house, so that may account for that...I'm not sure. marsconjunctmercury: can you explain a little more on your Mars hypothesis? I'm a bit lost on your statement that Mary strongly affects "the Sun sign from which it falls in the 5th house." My Venus is in Pisces...would that indicate Scorpio then? IP: Logged |

I would say both sags and gems can be like that. Thats why i clash with them alot then we get along.
Then we fight again.
Then we love eachother again.
It's usually always like that.
Oh well.

I find Geminis funny when they say they do not want to argue or make their lives complicatd. They LOVE to argue and make life complicated for themselves and others. So I always expect a fight and then i am not surprised or hurt. They are the most confrontational sign ever except for Aries. It's almost like a sign of respect to fight, and Saggie make me mad too.The weird thing about Saggies is that I can never tell when they are mad, I suddenly get it. It sneaks up on you for a while and then suddenly anger is there. I can't tell if I am being made mad or if it's in my imagination it's so subtle. But yes Sags make me really mad too sometimes. Pisces and Virgos are much more confrontational physically in walking away, making faces-easier to understand for me. Mutables:> Natasha Taurus IP: Logged |
