Steelrose. That scene was so emotionally intense and beautiful. I LOVED that movie! ::sigh::

Whow - SUCH good quotes! I loved What Dreams May Come, Only You, and of course Dracula. Gary Oldman is a GOD! *sighs whistfully*

So my quotes are less dramatic but very touching from a movie I recently fell in love with... Garden State. So here are two quotes:

Sam: How are you feelin'?

Andrew: Safe. When I'm with you, I feel so safe. Like I'm home.

------------------

Sam: What are you doing?

Andrew: Remember that idea I had about working stuff out on my own...and then finding you once I figured stuff out?

Sam: The ellipsis?

Andrew: Yeah. The ellipsis. It's dumb. It's dumb. It's an awful idea. And I'm not gonna do it, okay? 'Cause like you said, this is it. This is life...and I'm in love with you, Samantha. I think that's the only thing I've ever been really sure of in my entire life. I'm really messed up now, and I got a lot of stuff I gotta work out. But I don't want to waste any more of my life without you in it, okay?

Sam: Yeah.

Andrew: And I think I can do this! I mean, I want to. We have to, right?

Sam: Yeah!

Andrew: Right?

Sam: Yes!

Andrew: So what do we do?

Thanks Taurus!!

As soon as I saw "The Last of the Mohegans" I wondered how in God's creation I could have forgotten THAT one!!!

"You stay alive...I WILL find you!!" Oooh my God I get chills just thinking of it too!!! (And oh my Lord how I LOVED Daniel Day Lewis in that movie! I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it--I think I saw it 4 times just AT THE THEATRE! LOL)

Anyway...I'm glad you're enjoying the thread.

For whomever mentioned "Serendipity" I've still not seen the whole thing start to finish, but I got a chance to see most of it this weekend and whomever brought it up you're right...it IS incredibly romantic!!

Right now I'm watching "Elizabeth." It's been years since I've seen it, so I can't remember everything that happens, but I do recall that she's never allowed to marry her soulmate so I'm waiting for some great dialogue to come back and share here.

Oh...I nearly forgot to mention...

While this may be more suited to the Twin Flame song lyric thread, it does come from a Broadway show so IS theatrical.

In Les Miserables, after meeting for the first time and experiencing one of those Twin Flame/Soul Mate sacred love-at-first-sight moments, Marius and Cosette sing separately (and then together) of one another:

Cosette:
Does he know I'm alive?
Do I know if he's real?
Does he see what I saw?
Does he feel what I feel?
In my life
I'm no longer alone
Now the love in my life
Is so near
Find me now, find me here!

Marius:
In my life
She has burst like the music of angels,
The light of the sun.
And my life seems to stop
As if something is over
And something has scarcely begun

Marius
A heart full of love
A heart full of song
I'm doing everything all wrong
Oh God, for shame
I do not even know your name
Dear Mad'moiselle
Won't you say?
Will you tell?

Cosette:
A heart full of love
No fear, no regret

Marius:
My name is Marius Pontmercy

Cosette:
And mine's Cosette

Marius:
Cosette, I don't know what to say

Cosette:
Then make no sound

Marius:
I am lost

Cosette:
I am found!

Marius:
A heart full of light

Cosette:
A night bright as day

Marius:
And you must never go away
Cosette, Cosette

Cosette:
This is a chain we'll never break

Marius:
Do I dream?

Cosette:
I'm awake!
