I have an aunt and uncle who live in Kankakee, and I try to make it out to Chicago every few years or so. Chicago is a great city. The people are nicer, and it seems much cleaner on the whole, than here in these east coast cities...

but i have good morals and he doesn't. he is perverted. food and sex is all he thinks about and all he "thinks" he needs in life...i won't get into the details...

I can see how it might confuse you,
being so random and "without ado".
I wasnt sure if maybe you changed your email and didnt get it.

Its kind of unorthodox, but, then, I am socially unorthodox (Venus/Uranus).
I'm easily misunderstood, because I can be very open and aggressive,
even impatient to connect with someone who suddenly sparks my interest,
while still remaining aloof, and taking a long time to develop a genuine bond.

I'd have to agree with the Dalai Lama on this one.
And, I dont think I have anything to worry about in that department,
what with a Moon/Juno conjunction in the 1st house
(both of which suggest childlike qualities
when found in the 1st, and especially in conjunction).

I have that book (by Sasportas).

Another really good book, is "The Rising Sign", by Jeanne Avery.
And she interprets the sign/house-cusp pairings according to an Equal House system.
She discusses intercepted signs and houses,
but, for the most part, if you have a Cancer ascendant,
she assumes that the interpretations for Leo on the 2nd, Virgo on the 3rd,... Aries on the Midheaven, etc., will ring true for you.

I kind of resent your glib assertion,
that so-called "on-line dating" is patently absurd.

Without specifically intending to offend you,
might I suggest that these are the walls of your own realm of possibility,
erected by your own cynicism,
and that you simply lack vision, Sir?

I realize the sea is full of fish,
but, tell me, how is it absurd,
to select one's intimates from a much larger pool?

How many local astrology classes do you suppose I might have to take,
or how many esoteric bookstores (and there are few in my vacinity)
must I hang around,
before I run into someone who is single, interested in astrology, highly attractive and intelligent,
AND, let's say, whose Sun is opposite my own, give or take 1 or 2 degrees?

Because I would like to have my cake and eat it too;
I would like to find this charming little fish swimming in the pond in my backyard.

But, I would sooner seek this person on the other side of the country,
or the globe (or at the bottom of the ocean, for that matter),
before I would settle for someone in my backyard
with whom I share no true affinity.

For the former, I might leave home and family and friends,
without a backwards glance,
but, for the latter,
I could not be troubled to drive ten minutes
on a Sunday afternoon.

he lied to me about his birthday (making me think he was a Cancer sun), and about being friends with my mortal enemy, etc. he doesn't have any issues with trusting me..anymore. Gosh- you scorpios need A LOT of reassurance when it comes to trust, sheesh.

sometimes i just dont think he's telling me the complete truth...

Recently, I've been having romantic escapades with the infamous, unaspected Sun Saggie. We have strange karmic ties.

My Sun conjunct his Chiron
My Sun opposition his Saturn/Vertex
His Sun opposition my Chiron
His Venus opposition my Chiron
His Venus conjunct my Saturn
Moon trine Chiron (double whammy)

but my Sun squares his NN/SN. His Sun trines my NN, but conjunctions are more potent karma -wise.

alarmingly, my mars squares his saturn but his mars conjucts my moon. tension...

anyways, thought i'd update on the enigmatic paradox which is my love life.

Anyways, the update on me is as such:

Sag Sun/Aqua Mooner: He's still my best friend, although he's very detached and makes it difficult for me to understand his motivations. I'm 95% we're just friends, but other times he ****** me off because he gives off these "vibes".

Pisces Sun/Taurus Moon: I haven't seen him in forever.

Still single.. To be continued..

I've put my search for the perfect one on hold for now. I'm going to Prom, but without a date. It's a short yet complex story:

I wanted to go with my Sag friend.
He didn't ask me, and asked a Junior friend of his.
I get mad at Sag {no one, including him, knows it} because he said he would "never go with a junior because they always have next year. i'm gonna try my hardest to go with a senior" and I was, at the current time, dateless and one of his close friends.
Next day, after Sag asks Junior girl, acquiantace of mine, friend of Sag, asks me to Prom. I say no because we went to homecoming together and that didn't work out AT ALL.
Later, I tell Sag friend and he's mad because now I have no date and he was expecting me to say yes to his friend.
My conspiracy theory: he didn't ask me because his friend needed a pity date (i was his friend's third try at a date) and now probably regrets not asking me because everytime I mention Prom and how I'm dateless, he gets all miserable and says "Every senior girl should have a date to prom. Especially you."

We shall never know if he was going to ask me...

Lynx- I think you could get along with a Leo Sun, Gemini Moon.

Pisces Girl- Aries Sun, Cancer Moon maybe?
