Pixie: "That being said... I try to resist, as it colours the way I see things.. but I mean, that's not even accurate, as I generally weasel their Sun sign , as Astrology comes up quite frequently in my interactions anyway." hehhehehhehhehehhe Same here. And I run like crazy in the other direction from any and all Sag men. For some reason there are a lot of single Sag men. Um... yeah. I even tell them they haven't got a chance once I find out they are Sag. They try the cute boyish charm until they figure out that I am not kidding. Then they ask if I am kidding. (giggle) This is with astonished wide eyes. I say, Nope, I'm sure they are a nice guy etc etc blah blah blah, but I refuse to have any romantic involvement with a Sun Sag. They are quite bewildered but still tend to follow me around briefly in confusion.

Sorry I've been away for the last day and a bit. My best friend's birthday needed to be celebrated for a little bit. Pix, if you were here, I'd just smile at you for what you said. Why can't everyone just be born in harmony with me? (I'm a rat [water], and I think it's the Dragon and Monkey that I'm supposed to get along best with). http://chinese.astrology.com/compat/ratdragon.html Swerve: You sound a lot like me. Maybe I need a Pisces with a Gem Moon. I think this girl's got a Virgo Moon that isn't in conjunction with my own Virgo Moon, but is inconveniently opposite her Sun (less than 2 degrees). Zala, your chart shows that she's a mere 2 weeks late from being a more compatible Monkey. The Rat/Monkey combo is supposed to be a 10 of 10, whereas the Rat/Rooster is a 6 of 10. IP: Logged |

Shop22,I tried out your friend, though you didn't give time or place. I used 12:00 in Chicago. Got Virgo Sun and Cap Moon like you said, but his Moon is WAY out of conjunction with my Sun. There were 8 contacts that were considered Relationship Challenges by my program (Squares). Not bad at all really. I've seen lots more. There were 11 Key Connections (which don't have to necessarily be stellar). These are conjunctions and oppositions. There were 15 Relationship Strengths. These connections aren't as strong as the 'Key' ones, but are still beneficial. (They're all Trines and Sextiles) So there's another person in the 8 year Chinese Cycle that has decent synastry with me. IP: Logged |

I went and met the pisces today. It was nice, but we didn't have a real communication connection...well that's what she called it. I called it a mental connection, because it seems like when two people are on close to the same wave length it's not difficult to talk. It ended with us acknowledging that lack of connection, and it was ok. A little adventure to meet a stranger who finds you attractive is always fun. Who's next? IP: Logged |

Bad idea, in my opinion. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

8 out of 10 between the animals. http://chinese.astrology.com/compat/monkeydog.html It doesn't talk about the compatibility of the elements. IP: Logged |

quote: Bad idea, in my opinion.
I think I understand where that idea stems from, but just as a bad chart could color the relationship negatively from the start, couldn't a good chart color the relationship positively from the start? Ever see the movie 'Shine,' about the Australian pianist (David Helfgott played by Geoffrey Rush) who grew up a prodigy at the hands of an abusive father? His eventual wife was/is an astrologer, and when she went and checked his chart out of curiosity she found that they had a good chart together. You don't get the impression that she was necessarily looking for love, but he seemed to thrive after their getting together. quote: A chance meeting with Gillian (Lynn Redgrave), a Sydney astrologer who is visiting Sylvia, develops into friendship, then unlikely romance. And, because Gillian's love is unconditional, free of expectations, envy, or competition, David's chaotic inner life and his undisciplined outer life gain stability for the first time. http://www.finelinefeatures.com/shine/about/synopsw.htm
I'm just saying that there's two sides to this coin. IP: Logged |

I'll check that out later. I appreciate the effort, though. Maybe you should be the one to start an astrologically-based dating service.IP: Logged |

AG - they have one. It's called Starmatch or something to that name. I think it's more of a gut thing. Had I met Mr. Leo and known he had a Pisces moon and Venus in Virgo, I may have shied away. As it turns out, being with a Pisces moon man is wonderful. Can you imagine getting along so well with someone AND they understand your moods, feelings etc.... As strong as he is he has that underlying soft side. We don't fight, hell we hardly disagree because of how much alike we are and how well we talk. Nothing is perfect though and I have had charts with people where it looked GREAT. One was an Aries / Taurus cusp (but technically Taurus) Sag Moon, Mercury in Aries, Neptune in Sag... In any case, we had 5 composite planets in the 7th house and all these wonderful trines. BUT.. no spark LOL... and it went nowhere. You'll meet someone and just "know" it's right. IP: Logged |
