Warning!! Gushy pisces mercury sentimintal rambling ahead....

I am paralysed with love for this guy I have been trying to get over for a long time now. He is everything I would want in another human being and I have found in my quest to move on constantly comparing others to the high impression he has left on me. I know I am still young, and there will be experiences and lessons I am yet to learn but I have long felt that the purpose of this lifetime for me is to be without the one I love and learn that having myself is enough.

There have been many instances where I had crossed paths with this man previously, but I am unsure as to whether our eventual meeting was supposed to be or not. I feel an instant connection and familiarity with him. But he is always with someone else and does not commit to anything ultimately. I am a mess knowing we will never be together, but it crushes me knowing I have been with him before but perhaps will never be again. I don't know if I must atone to something I did to prevent us being together. Maybe I am just being obsessive but I can't ignore this feeling that tells me this is the only personal who has really understood me.

Astrologically he is a virgo with a libra mercury, leo venus, gemini mars. As I am unsure of his birth time he could either be an aquarius or pisces moon. Not sure of the ascendent... I am a pisces sun, mercury, venus and jupiter, leo moon, saggie mars, aquarius rising.
I don't know why I am writing this here and I understand completely if a lot of you who happen to read this (well done to you anyway if you've gotten this far!) think I have lost my head. I am sure I have mentioned him before but I have been trying to suffocate the intensity of my emotions right now and it is all catching up with me again. I want to move on and get on with my life but this is crippling me.

Oh you poor love. I understand how you feel and my heart goes out to you BUT he really can't be everything that you have ever hoped for..because he doesn't feel the same about you. It's hard but I'm sure you want to be with someone that feels the same about you. Take strength from that.

sorry to hear about your heartache...

I feel for you.........

Know in your heart that the combination of

1. the desire to 'get over' him

2. time

WILL be enough. And you will be okay.

Give yourself some time and be kind to yourself.

GLLF- I think you, me and pisces_girl should form a junior lonely hearts club

pisces_girl, I was only joking because I feel for you a lot and have experienced something similar, but I don't think i can contructively help you or judge your situation til I know more about it. How did you meet? What relation are you to each other? Friends? Exes? etc How does he feel about you? What have you said to each other?
Cos I'd feel very bad if I just did the typical bitter and hurt female thing of just assuming the guy you like is as much of a jerk as the one I liked and telling you to forget him. Sadly, this might be the best thing to do, depending on the circumstances. The one thing you can take heart from is that your mind, with a few extreme exceptions, will do what's best for you and make you forget him and get over him if that's what you need to do. Most people when getting over people will have an "and then I opened my eyes" feeling during the unattraction proccess and it gets easier from then on. I speak from first-time experience... but I'm not saying it's all fine and easy cos I had a crush for 2 years and it's taken me five months to get this back to earth again. And I'm still not a 100% over him. Oh crap. This was meant to be encouraging
Anyway, tell me some more about the situation.

You know, one thing about Virgo men, is that they are not the greatest communicators of emotion. Not even when they really do love someone. It seems from your post that you are very in touch with your emotions. Stay true to that and find yourself someone a little more sensitive. I'm going on 13 years with a virgo and it's a very lonely place sometimes.
