Linda Goodman's Love Signs...I bought the book last night and so far all I've had time to read is the section Aries Woman, Aquarius Man. And I'm totally bummed. This doesn't sound like Kevin and I AT ALL! Am I using this book wrong? This sounded like the exact opposite of us. Not only as a couple but as individuals....  ------------------

like different combos of those? Ie match my Moon sign with his Sun sign. if that doesn't work try his Moon sign with my Asc? Like that? Or would I have to match my Moon with his Moon?------------------

MommaAries - I would try reading the comparisons of your suns and moons. His sun to your moon, and then vice-versa. My opinion on this is that in relationships, the sun to moon relation is much more important than the sun to sun. I don't know why, but I really think it is. For example, I dated a Gem sun, cancer moon guy a while back. Even though our moons were trined, the combination of oppositions (my sun in cap, his moon in cancer) and squares (his sun in gem, my moon in pisces) just made it the most difficult, dreadful relationship I've ever been in. We couldn't find common ground to save our lives. I just wanted to bang my head against a wall the whole time.Now that I'm with a pisces, I feel completely comfortable. We have such an incredible connection...we can talk for hours about everything. However, never doubt the moon's influence. The pisces-pisces connection between us is powerful, but I actually think he acts and is motivated and influenced in his actions more by his scorpio moon. IP: Logged |

LOL...Believe me, I know how you feel. I'm only a month in myself, but WOW! Most of the time it just scares the hell out of me! I'm not comfortable when I feel this vulnerable with someone, and these are some POWERFUL feelings. I'm adjusting though...lol.What are yours and his moon, venus, and mars signs? IP: Logged |

He's got it on his to do list to ask his mom his birth time. But so far here's our gathered info:Me:
Sun in Aries, Asc in Taurus, Moon in Gemini, Mars in Scorpio and Venus in Pisces. Him:
Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Pisces, Mars in Scorpio, Venus in Capricorn And the part that gives me goosebumps is our compatibility chart!  We have 7 conjuctions and only 4 negatives. I'm still not 100% sure one what it all means but I like the way it sounds! heh heh I've been doing so much studying on astrology and writing down notes and high lighting lines I like that I feel like I am studing for a test in college or something lol ------------------

MommaAries - Two big things jumped out at me there: The first being that your moon in Gemini is trine his sun in Aqua. That's a very good placement, especially since it's your moon and his sun...works slightly better that way for some reason. There is going to be a deep understanding of one another with that. The second is your venus conjunct his moon in Pisces. I have this placement with my guy in Scorpio. This is a great love/understanding aspect. It's going to be nice for you that your guy has his moon in pisces. Since you have both your mars and venus in water signs, that will help counter act some of the general Aqua tendencies to seem cold and distant. His pisces moon will make him MUCH more sensitive, caring, and concerned for your well being. I would read Linda's section on Pisces men, and I'll bet you that you'll find your guy acts either MORE like that, or is a good combination of aqua and pisces together. Also, read the section on the Gem female/Aqua male. Your Gem moon probably has a strong influence over you, so that section of the book may make more sense to you as well. Ladies! Holy schmoly! Thank you so soo much! I just read the part in Love Signs about Gemini and Aquarius and that is US. *swooooon* So what does it mean if I am technically an Aries, pretty much have always lived up to a typical Aries profile, but my match up with my Aquarian mate I seem more Gemini. Does he bring out my moon? (haha ooooh yes he does  lol sorry I'm hyper and giddy and smitten)------------------

Bingo. Yes, he does. On the flip side to the Gem-Cancer I dated, my first boyfriend was a Cancer-Gem. In that relationship, even though our suns were in opposition, and our moons were squared, we had that moon-sun trine...and it was my moon and his sun. Because of that we stayed together for a long time, and even though we were young and grew apart, I will ALWAYS love him. Sun-moon synastry is very strong. I don't know about everyone else, but I've found that my moon usually dictates who I'm attracted to more than my sun. Although I am attracted to a lot of earth guys and fell very hard for one, over all, I've dated MANY more water men and I seem to do much better with them - that's dictated by my moon. So, most likely you're going to feel most comfortable with men who have air sign suns. What's strange though, is that I DON'T do so well with men who have pisces moons. We seem TOO similar, and there's not enough tension. When the sun is in pisces though it's a different story...It's so interesting to me how the traits manifest themselves differently under each planet. With the sun/moon, it's like yin and yang and putting two pieces of a puzzle together... So, to answer your question, YES you are still definitely an Aries, but when you're in relationships, your Gemini side will come out more, because that dictates your emotional needs...hence the reason an air sign male would be better to fulfill those needs. I get it!! haha I feel like it took a little longer then average maybe but at least I get it now. lol Too bad you're in Ohio, I think it'd be fun to get to know each other better and meet up for coffee and compare relationship and astrology notes. Oh well, thats why we have the wonders of the internet! heyy MommaAries..I just saw ur post in another thread..go to astro.com and click on extended charts..there you can get composite AND synastry..also they have this potential partner thing you can click..it's a pop up chart..pretty cool! also try cafeastrology..they are interesting..and venus groups is another site.. that's all i can remember off the top of my head..YAYYYYYYYYY YOU'RE HAPPY! ILWL - heh heh smitten is a great word. I told Kevin last night I was swooned and he'd never heard that word before so I had a fun time explaining it to him. Then suggested he take note so he could create a Myndi dictionary lol Taurus - I love cafeastrology! Someone else recommended it and I've looked at it just about every day since then. And thank you very much! I am am super happy, and it feels so good! My last 'real' relationship (my son's dad) was terrible and all the guys I've dated since him haven't really lit my fire the way Kevin does. Opposite end. I'm in Vancouver. I was born up in Aberdeen and lived in Ocean Shores for a little bit but pretty much raised 22 years and counting in the VNC. lol I will post some of my sweet nothings later then! Hey MommaAries - Yes, I agree, it is too bad we're in different states...that's kind of the problem with this site...you meet so many people you'd love to get to know but most of them are too far away, plus I always get along really well with Aries girls...lol! Still, it's nice to have pen pals! Maybe someone will put together a "Lindaland Convention" sometime and we can all get together in Vegas or something! Regarding your last post - I don't think you have to worry about talking too much about your sweetheart on here. That's what the Soul Unions forum is for! Plus, most everyone on here knows how it feels to be falling in love with someone new...when they're all that you think about, you just want to share it with the world. Try reading the combination of your 7th house rulers.I've read (and in my experience it has been true) that the qualities of this sign surface only within the context of an intimate relationship, and only the person with whom you are intimately involved will experience this side of your personality.
