Yep... I think so... or could be crazy though... lol I experienced the worst so far of the connection earlier this month (Sunday, 12/3, to be exact)... all day I was not just depressed but felt anxiety and panic and my heart HURT. I had no reason to feel this way. Nothing going on bad for me career or personal. And as far as "the guy" (the soulmate), with whom I have this connection, I sort of have the control right now as I had told him I'd just talk to him sometime in 2007. It had been 8 weeks since I'd last spoken to him, which is almost the longest I've gone without contact with him. I really felt that that pain/anguish/despair I was feeling was "not MINE". Hey CapG: I knew that you would come on to shed some light..Ahhhhh your situation is right...Those were not your feelings but his..I have gone through the same thing and wondered what the F why am I feeling like this.. I have read up...but I am still trying to understand some things..I do expereince strange feelings in my heart(hard to explain)But what makes me so curious is when I hug this person something happens and its strange..That energy..I am just trying to understand.. Yes... on the positive side, I've experienced this chakra's connection through the hug. I think I've told you maybe a bit about that incident? I gave him a full-body long hug and walked away from it just "buzzing". I could hardly "walk away". I ended up hugging him two more times in leaving. It's like that intense, long hug opened up our heart chakras further and I was immediately in this loving state/glow which lasted all through the night when I got home and into the next day. Yes exactly what you described..I was on such a high one time for about 3 days..I read that it true love..You only connect on a heart chakra level with ppl you deeply love and vise versa..You can connect also with your children and parents this way too..But its not romantic of course..Unconditional love is a part of this too..I have a girlfriend that is into holistic type healings and she said that she went and did someting to raise someone's Chakra I am going to call her and ask her about somethings..She explained somethings to me already.. Oh so 'heart chakra' is what that strange, unusual and wonderful thing is!I feel that with someone, only ever with him. I feel him around before I see him even if there is no reason for him to be there. I just feel him when he is so its never a surprise to see him. Our hugs do kind of buzz, sometimes I almost feel like we're melting into one another. Even a quick hug is energizing. I forget where I am when we kiss, that sounds corny but its really true and actually a bit of a worry! Don't know if thats part of the heart chakra thing but its pretty cool. Lately I think I've been dreaming for him. Went to 'astral realms' to analyse a dream and as I was writing the day time reality to correlate with my dream, I realized I was probably dreaming about HIM what he was thinking about ME (unless its just wishful thinking, doubt it though cos the dream was strange). So weird but so nice. I keep sending him strong loving vibes and hope he feels them. I feel very warm and fuzzy at the moment, tinged with longing. Usually I just feel comfused, overwhelmed and awkward. Maybe that was him too, I'm pretty sure these new vibes are from him. I am so blown away by this topic. I too have experienced this with someone. I always feel his presence everywhere, sometimes a strong feeling or power comes over me if I go somewhere and I know he's there. And he is. The problem that I have is that I feel like this connection transcends everything beyond friendship, relationships, a higher love that I cannot explain...that I feel like it can never turn into something in the "real world" but the bad thing is that I cannot break the connection & move on. Even if I don't speak with him for long period of times & start to get interested in someone else, he will suddenly appear. The other night I had the most horrible anxiety/panick about him almost like I was stabbed in the heart. I know it's dramatic but that's what it felt like. Can anyone help me with what that means? I've known this beauty and this pain for around 15 years. I made some really bad decisions to escape it at different periods throughout these 15 years, when the feelings were the strongest.
I can go a year or more with no contact, feel like I've broken the connection, that it's over and I can move on... and then in just a moment be almost back to where I started.IP: Logged |

Mystic~ 15 years? Oh man, I believe it though. I'm at 2 years and am heading towards my longest of no contact- 10 weeks. Were you involved with others during this time span, and if so, did you feel the connection less during those times when you had someone else? What stupid choices did you make because of this?I've changed my cell phone number because of him, moved out of our apt. bldg. we both lived in yet that was not 100% bc. of him and not really a BAD move/choice, and before that I switched parking spots in our bldg's garage to get away from parking right next to him in assigned spots. I've considered moving- out of state- which is also due to family living there in another state and wanting me there- but something is keeping from doing that right now. HE has tried to escape this too. He pulled himself off AIM from me, and most recently told me that he's living with someone which I suspect is false and yet cannot confirm for some reason. Just to be clear... neither of us is "harassing" the other during these entire 2 years, to prompt these drastic attempts to flee/run. We are both very cautious/reserved about contacting each other. Just wanted to clarify that it's not some stalker situation from either side. It's more like being "permeated" with feeling them, thoughts of them, a constant lingering in the recesses of your mind/heart, for no reason! You think you're just obsessed, you don't want to be, so you "run" and try to get away from him and anything reminding you of him.

Oh Wow ladies...!!I hear we are living in a time of altered consciousness so people who have soul connections are going to feel the effects even more... I too have been through this...with a male friend...very painful, very draining and at times crucifying... Time is of the essence for me, although reading what Mystic said.... SueG~ I think it was your thread I read on that- cutting the ties- I haven't given that a full try in that manner. I have tried building walls in my mind, "in the ethereal", with rose quartz crystal. (i.e. erecting rose quartz walls to separate us). It's a method developed/recommended by Steve Gunn (psychic). That seemed to help~ It's hard to do that cutting or wall building though- you feel bad doing it.

oceangirlI too have experienced what you talk of. After shaman healing I discovered the guy was a son of mine in a past life....I felt responsible for him in this one...I panicked for him when he was sad etc. Havent seen him now for nearly two years....but we spoke by text and he said to me that when people are so close the only thing to do is be separate..... CapGirlIts very hard to do.....but (for me anyway) so necessary for the relationshop to be healed.... I am letting you go with love.....aaahh sounds so easy, but bloody difficult to do hey? It is actually a kind thing to do....sometimes we enslave the other person....it feels very restricting and suffocating...so by letting them go we are doing a kindness to them.. HHmmmmm Good responses..Im convinced though that these kind of connections are eternal..They can be weakened,but never totally broken.. I too read the thread by Sue G cutting ties and I have tried it and it worked for less say a day or so and then back to the same feelings..Then again it did say that connections through the heart Chakra are the hardest to break permanently.. Some one ask if this can be one sided, you know I really don't know I do know in my situation it is not one sided we both feel this... Ties through the heart chakra can be a bittersweet thing for some and for some it can just be bitter and torcher..I will admit for me its has more sweet then bitter but I have felt some pain.. From all that I've read, the overall soul connection is not one-sided- or there'd be no "connection". These incidents of "waves of love" and feeling that momentary type connection might be only felt on your end though at that moment. Not sure on that. IP: Logged |

I've read of many feeling connected at the sacral chakra (above belly button) which is site of the silver cord... Would this signify a different type of connection, i.e. non-romanctic? I've never felt especially "connected" at that chakra level... don't feel a tugging or pull there really. IP: Logged |

CapG: That is interesting that you would mention that bc When I first start having these crazy feelings at my belly button is where it started, the most strangest thing in the world..A strong pull and it was too the soul..However I have moved we have moved past that and into the heart Chakra now..Actually we have been there for awhile I just did not know what was going on, but I do understand better now..I read how you can connect from one Chakra to the next, I think after certain levels of spiritual growth...Also Intimacy, love making can really heighten things when connected to a person through the heart Chakra..I have seen this happen in my situation and just observed it but wasn't for sure, but I am convinced now.. hi you guys,
i am so glad i found you all that understands about these connections. other people think i'm crazy or weak for not being able to break away, but for some reason i never can...even with no contact for a long time something will always bring us together. also, the connection is really confusing to me. it's so strong that it's like a friendship or something familial-straight to the soul. sue g i thought that was interesting what you said about past lives. i did have a pyschic (and i am skeptical of physchics) tell me that it's hard for me to break away because we were together in past lives several times as twins & as husband & wife several times over & it does feel like that-like we are brother & sister, yet also married. i hate feeling like i can't move on. sometimes i wonder why these soul connections exist for us? what is the meaning? to teach us something? i also thought one of the comments on here was really strong & made sense that..."when 2 people are so close they can't be together" that's how i feel-can't be together, but never apart & you feel like no one will ever compare to them...is it possible to have ties like that with more than one person in your life? i almost feel like i've died when i try to break away. perhaps soul mates are not supposed to be your partner in life. i've heard you are a lucky person if you meet your soul mate AND your partner...IP: Logged |
