"Hmmm, moon in gemini and venus in leo. That would change up a crab quite a bit. She's very social, and even the flashy type. And especially with venus square Jupiter, she sounds like a partygirl....might even over do it sometimes."Errr...YEP! She even brags about it. With your Pisces sun/Scorpio Moon? I dunno. But if I recall, you also have an Aqua venus? Yeah, both your tastes and/or values are probably on very opposite ends of the spectrum (Leo-Aqua polarity). Errr...YEP! That's what finished it. "Although Sun conjunct Mercury in cancer would probably make her extremely intuitive and easily affected by other's moods."
She is a bit of a nervous wreck because of it! "Her venus-neptune trine could make her an idealist in love....or into art/theater/etc." This is probably what I fell in love with. I imagine we had an idealised version of each other in our minds. The other stuff chipped away at that until there was resentment on her side and I guess shame on mine for being exposed (in HER eyes). Maybe that's why it was hard to let go. I just wanted her to see that actually I was that guy after all, and not the person she thinks I am now. She was very stubborn and quick to reject which shocked me really after so much understanding in the beginning. Great work Dulce! Swerve

Dulce - do you think the fact I'm one third Fish and 2 parts Scorpion would be overwhelming for most Crabs in the long run? It's kinda like too much of the same intense energy I think Cancers are trying to get to grips with in themselves. Obviously strong Pluto placements would help cope but I am difficult to handle just in the way I am. I have trouble myself! I often wonder what sign would be best suited to live with my intensity and I keep coming back to Aquarius. Swerve IP: Logged |

It would be overwhelming considering we are the first water sign (just getting into the element) but we're strongly attracted to it anyways and after not being satisfied with complete airiness/firyness....we jump right in. Atleast that's my take on it. I have an virgo moon placed in the 8th house contrasted against a 5th house gemini venus and a strong plutonian/ neptunian emphasis in my chart. So what I just said strongly applies to me atleast...tis the story of my life.I think with this girl in particular, the gemini moon is what does her in. As the moon represents what we're comfortable with, she may not be comfortable with this type of energy even though she possesses it herself (sun/mercury conjunction in Cancer along with Mars in cancer). I have a gemini mooner sister who is really not comfy with that type of thing either (and she's a Pisces). Her gem moon also falls in the 7th. I'd say if you ever wanted to go with a cancer again, look for one who also has either a water/ earth moon or a strong emphasis of water in the chart or even some earth to ground you. Going back to this girl again, I see alot of emphasis on social life and having fun (this is excluding her sun/mercury/mars combo). Although her sun/mars combo would make her very attracted to the watery type; its probably not what she was comfortable with in the end because of her moon being in such a light and airy sign/ and again, the party aspects (venus-jupiter square). Although her moon probably would've gone pefrect with your venus, its not what you need on a deeper level (scorpio moon). With water in your top three, you probably would've been disatisfied in the long run. She doesn't appreciate what you do, which would be very important in the long run. Whew, I hope that helps! That's great Dulce, I didn't expect so much!Do you not find that without some strong water a relationship feels kind of "flat". I need that passion, that underlying emotion to it. Sex for the sake of it bores me in truth and intellectual stimulation can only go so far. So Air and Earth have limited long-term appeal. I want passion, passion, passion - even if sometimes it feels dangerously out of control. Am I revealing myself here lol? I felt she was uncomfortable with her own energy while being tempted by it. She chose to go with what she knows, I would guess her current bf is airy and fun and drinks and doesn't take life too seriously. Or an arrogant type who plays with her feelings as she is easily manipulated I noticed. That made me feel protective of her. I would also imagine she will settle for that thinking it's enough but feel something is missing in the future when getting drunk doesn't hold the same appeal anymore. I digress though, because I think I've spent enough time, energy and emotion on that girl though now. I'm just happy she seems happy - and goodbye. Thanks again, Swerve

Interesting stuff Dulce. The first boyfriend I ever had was a Cancer~Gemini. He had Venus in Cancer and Mars in Gemini as well. We dated for almost 3 years. He wasn't at all like how Swerve's ex sounds. He was sooooo caring, nurturing, passionate, and protective. He was INSANELY jealous though. That eventually pushed me away. I felt too suffocated. I dated a Gemini~Cancer too. The two men were very similar, but I got along much better with the Cancer sun. The thing that I've noticed with Gemini moons is that they can be very irritable and unpredictable. It's not the most nurturing moon, but I would have thought with that girl's placements in Cancer, it might have cancelled that out a bit. Must have been that Jupiter influence in her... IP: Logged |

Also wanted to add to Swerve...When you said you found yourself thinking that you might be best with an Aqua... I had a weird moment the other night. I was running different charts through my head, and thinking about which signs and placements would be best for me. Then I realized that I shouldn't even think about that. The right person will be the right person, no matter what the signs. I was shocked a few months back when I really hit it off with someone. He was a Sag-Leo! Never would I have expected such a thing. We talked for hours and had a lot of laughs. You never know what can happen Swerve, so keep your heart AND your options open. ~CC IP: Logged |

I am Cranky.Logically it seems Aqua, but maybe another Pisces or someone with a Pisces Moon could be best. Actually, one ex was Gemini Sun, Cancer Moon which was the opposite and she really understood me and actually liked my intensity and "out there" qualities. Maybe a Cancer Moon then....who knows? LOL, you guys crack me up! quote: Do you not find that without some strong water a relationship feels kind of "flat".I need that passion, that underlying emotion to it. Yeah, I have felt things to be a bit flat (even in friendships) when there wasn't alot of water. I just didn't end up getting close to the person. But while I do need that strong water emphasis....I also need a little bit of some of the other elements too. Especially air because I'm a gemini venus/aries mars in the 3rd I'm reaaally big on conversation and intellectual stimulation......its practically a must otherwise I get bored easily. I guess what I'm saying is that I can't have just ONE element in a relationship (especially not fire, Oh the Drama!). I hope I'm not sounding picky.
quote: Actually, one ex was Gemini Sun, Cancer Moon which was the opposite and she really understood me and actually liked my intensity and "out there" qualities.
Yeah, I would definitely say it was the moon that made her that way. Sometimes I think that the moon can be much more important than one's Sun because it represents the core being of someone. Whereas the sun is really just the ego. So with your Cancer ex, the emotions is her ego but the airyness is at the core of her being. And with this gemini ex of yours, its vice-versa. IP: Logged |

Thanks Swerve...i'll check him out. how did u stumble on him? your unerring piscean instincts? I feel like going and hiding away right now...i have moon in gemini, venus sq jupiter, mars in aqua.....lol but really, we ain't tht bad! it depends on so many other things....mostly i think moon in gemini are a little queasy about showing any emotions....i dunno....well may be compared to double/triple water signs they *might* seem flaky ILWL
