I've read through all the Aquarian man posts here and in the Astrology forum. HELP!! Egad, I'm hope I'm up for this. I've never, ever, thought of even looking at an Aquarian before. The one I knew I found to be insincere, all about how he appeared to others, selfish with his kids...etc. (ex brother in law) And now I've fallen for one. He has a lot of water. Rising and Venus in Pisces. Mars in Cancer. A bit of fire with his Moon in Aries. I have my rising and Venus in Aquarius. My Mars is Taurus, and moon in impatient Sag. Oh, and Sun is Cap. His Sun conj. my Venus in 1 degree. I'm a sucker for that. He's beautiful in my eyes in everyway!! Since it's his Sun, in synastry, that aspects my Venus I'm hoping it effects him too! Also his Mars sits in my 5th house, and Uranus in my 7th. At least you've all given me an idea of what I'm in for! lol!

Friendship seems to be extremely important for them... they need to be friends first, it seems...

Nope, he's REALLY not interested. This is online stuff, I doubt we'll have any more contact. I was so focused on how he aspected my Venus, I ignored his. He has his Venus in Pisces, Mars in Cancer. I'm a completely athletic, quirky, competitive Capricorn with Aqua Venus! He wants some lovely, dreamy, soft Pisces/Cancer woman to keep company with. HA! With my own friendly Aqua influence, I just posted him and told him so.

cap,what aspects does his venus make in his natal chart? And also which aspects does his venus form with your planets and angles - I always tend to think it's not that important whether you have planets in his venus sign, but that his venus actually aspects your planets. Hi anna!Oh my, suprisingly enough, he emailed me and wants to keep writing with me! To answer your questions, he has a 12th house Venus, like I do. His Venus is conj. his Asc, squares his Midheaven, Trines his Neptune, and sextiles his Saturn and Jupiter. As far as aspects to my planets, his Venus does sextile my Sun. It widely squares my Sag moon and merc, but sextiles my Mars and trines my Jupiter. I was a dummy, and wrote in my quick, panicked natal Venus in the 12th, a post to him before we met, that I saw more friendship than romance in our synastry - and in the most recent email he wrote wondering if he wasn't predisposed to not feeling any 'sparks' when we got together because of it! He also said he was really comfortable with me and had a great time. But if he didn't feel any sparks, he didn't feel any sparks! I did suggest, though, if he wants to do something and can't find a 'date' that I make very friendly company! lol! Maybe he'll come around??? He's so wonderful, he seriously had me at 'hi'... Hi Capnsag, with your 12th house venus you do have that pisces flavour he is seeking. And in any case, his venus does seem to form some really nice aspects with your planets. Also, his natal venus in aspect with his natal saturn and jupiter give his venus a bit of a capricorn and sagi feel that your moon and sun mirror for him. A friend of mine is an aqua with most of his planets including his venus in pisces and the love of his life is an aqua female, with venus in capricorn, mars in aqua,moon in scorpio. She is sharp and aloof, so not a tiny bit of dreamy, romantic pisces energy in sight. So really I wouldnt worry and as so many others already mentioned, with aquas so many relationships start with friendship. So you've got everything going for yourself! By the way two friends of mine now finally got it together after 4 years of friendship! By the way that's the same I mentioned above.One more thing, u said your venus tightly conjuncts his sun in synastry. (sorry, i have this obsessive interest in researching people's experience with venus aspects in synastry...)So if I understood you right you experience the textbook dynamic i.e. you as venus find him extremely beautiful physically? Or is it more a pure love kind of thing?

Wow, anna, thanks for your insight! I have such a rudimentary understanding of this, basically planets and houses, you can see how it got me in trouble! lol.To answer your question: Oh, I think EVERYTHING physical about him is beautiful. I know it's all in the eye of the beholder, but he's absolutely gorgeous in my eyes! I see it in his movements, a grace. His posture, his smile, his skin, his voice, his hands, broad shoulders, it's ridiculous! And it makes me feel so Venusian, and everything is a bit more enhanced and lovely when I'm around him. I've only seen/felt this with two men. This Aqua, and one I considered the 'Love of my Life' although we were never together as a couple. Their birthdays are only 4 days apart. Same year! Different Asc., but both Suns conj. my Venus. The former, by 3 degrees, this one, 1 degree. At the time, I remember thinking the former was also male physical perfection! lol! Luckily with my Venus Aqua and Asc., I'm really good at being a friend. It's much more comfortable to me than bf/gf, so that works for me!! didnt want to scare you with the 4 year example! They both realized much much sooner that they liked each other, but her venus in capricorn had some barriers up and oh how I can relate to that (my venus is also in capricorn). Also they were in a slightly awkward situation with her sister being best friends with him, so it wasnt a very easy situation to escalate. A lot was at stake. I definitely think your venus in aqua will make things a lot easier. I'm also in love with an aqua, but my capricorn venus makes it soooo incredably hard to relax around him and jsut be friends. It doenst help htat he also has a capricorn venus LOL... The example with your two aqua men is really amazing and sort of supports what I always thought that venus is about what we find truely beautiful. A lot of people think it's the other way around, probably it's a bit of both, depending on the natal chart. By the way, do you know in whihc of his houses your venus falls? IP: Logged |

Just being a Cap sun, I have a real sense how a Capricorn Venus must be like! Very guarded! I'm always accused of undermining myself, in protection...Both my Sun and Venus fall in his 11th house. His Sun is in my 12th house, his Venus, in my 1st house. His Mars falls in my 5th house, so I really thought he would feel 'some' sparks, in spite of my email... or is it me, as the house, that senses his Mars? I'm still not sure which way it falls! My mars falls in my Aqua friends 5th house and uuggghhh he cannot keep his hands off of me. He has to sit on them to do so, and he is ssooooo much more attracted to me then I am him, However my Venus is in Aqua and in our synastry and composite we have Sun Conjunt Venus and I do find him wonderfully chiseled..LOL!!! sorry, my first language isnt English, so I'm not sure I understood you right. Did he say,as a fact that he didnt feel any spark, or was he just bantering with you because of your comment? For me it sounded more like banter, as if he was just pulling your leg. Or did I get that right?Yeah, well the house overlays, I've never figured out who feels what as a rule and on this forum the question seems to have never been clarified....The guy I like, well my venus also falls in his 11th house, so I admit I do feel a bit paranoid, the house person feels it and in the case of the 11th house, it would only be friendship....sigh

Well, darn about the 5th house then! No, he was quite serious at the time he wrote the email that he just didn't feel any 'sparks' - I think he was later wondering if he was expecting not to feel any, so he didn't. MamaMia, do you feel any of the effects of his Mars in your 5th?  I'm at SUCH a disadvantage in this synastry! Story of my life!! At least my Valentine, Juno and North Node are in his 7th house, if it means anything. But they don't strongly aspect anything...

I'm sorry, that he was serious, still I wouldnt give up yet! If he treats you well and you are fine with a friendship for now or rather can handle it emotionally, why not go with the flow? And please dont feel disheartened just because your synastry doesnt scream mutual attraction - I have seen so many synastry charts, where the attraction wasnt in your face. And in any case have you looked at house rulers???For instance what's the ruler of his 7th house? And in which house does it fall in his chart? Do your planets or angles maybe form any major aspects to that ruler or to the house it falls in? IP: Logged |

just noticed, if he is a pisces ascendant, then he probably has a virgo descendant, doesnt he? so the ruler of 7th house is mercury and if I remember right, his mercury is conjucnt your ascendant, now to me this sounds like a really nice aspect!IP: Logged |

this is quite a good article about descendant/ascendant connections in synstry and aspects to the ruler of the descendant/ascendant in the other person's chart. You do have one of the connections described in the article, so it might be worth also checking links to the rulers of the 5th house etc. http://www.astroresources.com/oct99.htm I'm also still learning and still feel very insecure about weighing up different factors in synastry. So unfortunately I really wouldnt know how your different connections play out. I just really wanted to emphasize that you shouldnt let yourself be pulled down just because you feel your synastry is unbalanced. I'm thinking the strongest aspect for me is his Sun conj. my Venus. I think the strongest aspect for him is my Sun conj. his Jupiter, which is nicely aspected in his natal chart in his 11th house. At the worse I'm going to have a really close friend that I happen to think is Beauty Perfected in Man! IP: Logged |

Hmmm, so he suggested going to dinner. Good grief, is this how it is? lol. I expected like I'd hear from him in a month and do something really casual and 'friends' like...How psychic are Aquas? With his natal Neptune in the 8th house, our Venus/Sun conj. in my 12th house, and his Pisces asc/Venus, I seriously feel a strong psychic link with him! I know when he's thinking of me; know when he's reading my email, when he's writing back. 1st date we already had that 'thinking of you and the phone rings'... My Moon, Venus (both in Libra) and Mars (Scorpio) fall in my Aqua man's 8th house, and I REALLY feel it as much as he does.This is an ongoing debate in Lindaland; who affects who, the Planet person or the House person. I'm learning so much about astrology with this relationship! I now think the reason I'm so drawn to those with Sun conj. my Venus, is that with a 12th house hidden Venus, this shines light in the darkness, and I can finally feel and be that beautiful Venus planet!As for what's happening in the 'real world', we've been emailing each other everyday. I felt 'safe' that he wasn't really into me, so I really let many flirtaceous comments into my posts to him, with humor, of course. Well, last night, he sent me the MOST flirtaceous email, I was stunned! My first astrological thought was, 'Oh no! I've blown the 'friend' thing!!' ... and I backed down! But I have a feeling, having made his Cancer Mars feeling secure that I really, really, really, like him, that he's feeling his Arien Moon and wanting more. Have I blown it with my Aqua, if I let it go straight into a relationship, and becoming friends along the way??
