oh xodian, you and your psychology today droppings! every where you go, you leave a trail..

haha, but seriously. i only brought it up because the aquarian definition of love is so misunderstood by so many and this is the closest thing i could find to how i personally (as an aquarian) understand the way we, generally, see love. of course i believe it is universally accessable and pretty healthy and that any sign can love this way! BUT it is sort of the antithesis of how most people understand love, at least in this culture, at this time in history where overconsumption, narcissism and having few, if any, goals beyond self-satisfaction prevails.

i totally get where miss muffet is coming from and i was there only a couple of short years ago. it takes tremendous courage to let go of needing things to be a certain way. tremendous. but the reward is a liberation, and a clarity which allows you to know what is in fact good for you. and then you can HAVE that kind of love with the right kind of people without having to POSSESS them or place conditions on it.

i am still learning this and the last thing i want to be is preachy..

i went on wikiquotes and found this quote by the same author. it gave me shivers:

"What is love?"
"The total absence of fear," said the Master.
"What is it we fear?"
"Love," said the Master.

Its not that I get my jollies out of nagging people with technical jargon or something (or maybe I do Lol! Me to know, and for you NOT to find out .)

But it seems that people on this forum are forgetting about the importance of self-perseverance in a world which places great importance on individual achievement. And you know what... There is truth to it. The achievements mankind came about doing was all based upon person goals for knowladge, glory and personal gains; All of which are selfish in their own rights.

If we do not fear then we should have had the courage to face the fact that our partner may not be with us all the time since they are individuals with dreams and aspirations as well and they might need their own space to define certain aspects of their lives on their own.

The question is: Is one gonna be a hinderence by invoking conditions upon them or actually be an asset in their lives? (considering offcourse they give the same freedom to you as well.)
