So I think I lost someone very close to me, maybe my best friend, someone that I could have even been with under the right circumstances, someone who felt very stronlgy about me and whom I adored...It might be for the better, but it hurts... So much... Thanks for listening... IP: Logged |

I am able to relate to what is happening in your situation completely, almost eerily so.a friend of mine, drifts through my mind everyday and when it happens I'm almost always having to brush aside tears.
We have such an amazing connection (sometimes) the reasons why we shouldn't be romantic together are real and have to be acknowledged. I'm going through a phase in my life right now, that I need to do on my own. I'm succeeding, but I guess I'm afraid that when the time is right, he will have moved on and away from me. I almost pushed him away because of that fear.
He has wounded me on a soul deep level. I want him to be happy though and if he could find that with someone else, he is free. I told him that I love with no ceilings, floors or walls. I wish the best for you, hope it all works out...

LetsDance - thanks!Charlotte - I understand... I feel that things work out in mysterious ways after all. I have no way to defend this statement rationally, and maybe this is just something that people tell each other in order to justify, rationalize, cope. Dunno and it doesn't matter. All I know is, if he was meant to be in my life he will be, and the same goes for your friend too probably... I am not sure if my friend has left my life or not, but I don't quite dig the way he is doing it... But I knew of his shortcomings and chose to embrace them just as he loved (and our love has yet to evolve and grow) me in spite of mine... Double edge sword. In each other we found a place TO BE with all our flaws. But there are justifications for his behavior as well, actually... Our entire situation is pretty unhealthy in some ways, and very healthy in others. And I know he feels resp for me and guilty for his role in my life. I am trying to learn from this, "absorb" him and his qualities and move on to bigger and better things with or without him in my life. Don't intent on turning into someone else’s shadow, if you know what I mean. I truly believe that all these things make us stronger... Maybe these things I mention are true for you too, Charlotte? I know this is an astrology message board, but I don't want to get into this right now. Have my misgivings about astrology as of late. There are some fascinating astrological revelations that I have come across, but right now I would like to be more "rational" about things... Whatever that means. I am using this message board, because of the wonderful community here... I will give you a tip though: supposedly he is not one to let go of things easily : )
