There was a time when we were very intimate, then she went away for 4 years of college, and now we are both back in Philly.

She came over last night, we watched a movie, and I held her in my arms for the first time in a very long while. But I'm not sure if the magic is there for us anymore. I'm going to try.

No one in her family knows her birth time, only that she was born during daylight hours.

Our inner-planet placements are interesting:

We have mutual Sun/Moon conjunctions, we both have Scorpio Mercury and Venus, and we both have Capricorn Mars.

The Good:

My Moon is loosely conjunct her Sun in Libra by 8 degrees. Her Moon is between 17 and 26 degrees of Scorpio, which conjuncts my Sun, Venus, and Jupiter, and most likely my Mercury.

Her Merc is at 3 degrees of Scorpio, which conjuncts my Sun-Moon midpoint by less than 2 degrees.

Her Sun sign ruler, Venus, is at 18 Scorpio, which conjuncts my Sun, Merc, Venus, and Jupiter.

The Bad:

Mars seems like a potential menace.

Her Capricorn Mars squares my Moon by 7 degrees, forms an exact square to my Pluto by 56', and forms an exact square to my Saturn at 31'.

My Capricorn Mars squares her Libra Sun at 4 degrees.

Add Capricorn's values, and I'm bothered by what our mutual Capricorn Mars placements may do with all of the squares to our Libra placements.

She is so dedicated to her career. All of her time is focused on earning her Masters in Calculus, wants to follow it up with a Ph.D, and spends much of her free time doing equations. Math is her passion. Relationships seem of little concern for this Libra girl.

I really don't want to guess, but I'd say she is a Sagittarius Ascendant. She is always doing something different with her hair, but seems to prefer reds. I've attracted a number of Sag Asc's in the past, and it might explain her history of a strong sexual attraction to me. She once said she "doesn't trust herself around me", though some would call this a common response to a Scorpio, it sounds much to me like the statement from someone where my Sun would fall in her 12th house. Sag-types often have either "horsey" or "puppy-dog" appearances, and she shares some very similar facial features with a Sag Sun girl I knew with a "puppy" face. This Libra holds her weight in Saggie sections, however, it is also typical of many Libra females to be a little bottom heavy (I love it). She used to be a serious drinker, but has stopped partying completely since she started Grad school, and she has lost a good bit of beer/liquor weight, but still has great hips/thighs. I don't have any photos of her from 2008.

Also, I thought perhaps Pisces Asc, but somewhat talked myself out of that because of her ton of Water undertones fed through a Libra Sun (venusian higher octave being Pisces). She also makes a lot of vague Piscean-like statements, which I may be confusing with Scorpionic cryptics.

Yeah, if she were a Pisces Asc, with Neptune as chart ruler, her Capricorn Neptune could support the Capricorn-like presence I thought I might've seen in her appearance.

Pisces and Sagittarius are closely related via Jupiter/Neptune subrulership, so I think Pisces and Sagittarius may be the best guesses I could make for her Asc.

The sun set at 6:36 p.m. in Philly on her day of birth, at which time the Asc was in the middle of Aries.

Opposite signs share many common appearances, and so much Scorpio Fixity (4 of 10 placements, particularly with Scorpio Venus) can easily be mistaken for Taurus, this can be especially true when given an extra splash of Venus, possibly via her Libra Sun.

If she was born at Noon, she would be 11 deg Sag Rising. If she was born at 6pm she would be 0 deg Aries rising. If she was born at 4am, she would be 23 deg Leo rising. Not sure when the sun sets in Philadelphia but maybe Leo rising would be out.

The reason why I think she might be a fire rising:
* She poses and is dramatic in photos, has exaggerated facial expression
* Either has or dyes her hair red with a reddish tinge
* Jawline in the first photo is sharp - indicative of Aries rising
* Has a firey crease in her eyes that makes her always have "smiley" eyes
* Her eyebrows in the last photo is very Aries rising.
* Figure however would lead to Sag rising the most and then maybe Leo (would you say she is boxy or prone to weight gain?)

Her love of Maths might mean she has Cap MC (0 deg Aries rising would mean 0 deg Cap MC). Saturn would be in her 8th, Maths is associated with Cap, Saturn would need to explore that area. At earlier Aries AC, her neptune would square AC and conj her MC which might give her the neptunian flavour that was being picked up on.

Only problem is that is she was Aries AC, then chart ruler would be Mars in Cap. That would give her the dark looks but where does the figure come from? (Nep aqu ASC?) Might explain she predominately wears black but the wearing of purple is Sag, so maybe she is Sag rising.

The Sun rose at 7:03 and set at 6:36 on her birth date, so Leo Asc is definitely out of the question. Although you figured out her birth date, to make it explicit, it is October 6th, 1986.

Like I said in response to Writesomething's Taurus guess, I try to avoid being swayed by the possibility of an Aries Asc with the same theory of how Taurus Asc (impossible here) would be misleading; the similar appearances of zodiac opposites, plus heavy planetary rulership modifications: Libra Sun (opposite Aries) with strong Scorpio influence (Mars subrulership). Just like a Taurus Asc would be the Scorpio appearance influence (zodiac opposite) added to Libra Sun (Venus rulership).

But early Aries would still have the sun up, so it is within the realm of possibility.

Pisces Asc seems to be the popular vote. I'm not sure if it is peer pressure, but I may be beginning to sway towards Pisces.

I'm afraid to reconsider Capricorn Asc with Libra Sun, because my sign guessing history has a particular tendency of confusing Cardinal influences.

23- Yeah, you're right, a Fire Asc doesn't make much sense, but I keep clinging to Sagittarius. And yes, she is rather boxy with broad shoulders, reminiscent of Scorpio/Taurus. No one has suggested Scorpio Asc, but I see Scorp more in her planets than a possible Asc. She does seem to put on weight easily, though this is common of comfort-loving Venusians, but yesterday I skimmed through Linda Goodman's Sun Signs and she mentions how a Libra with Sagittarius Ascendant would be particularly prone to weight gain (...the ever-expansive Jupiter...).

To me, I see a definite Jupiter/Neptune energy...

I'm worried about Libran stereotypes of how they seek "the best" in either appearance or social stature.

I have no shame in admitting that when her and I started out, I felt popular and attractive. Since transiting Saturn has reached my natal Ascendant, things have changed for the worse. With common Libran values in mind, I don't consider myself very attractive these days; my looks have faded with age. And I've slowly withdrawn myself from old friends and feel as though I live largely in obscurity.
