I have been here before...
I know the grass beyond the door
..the sweet keen smell
the sighing sound, the lights around the shoreyou have been mine before
though how or when I cannot tell
yet, just when at that swallow's soar
your neck turned so....
I knew it all of yore though age, faith or creed

delayed though it may be for more lives yet

the first time i read those words,i knew them to be true.which is why i tried so hard to make my marriage last and now i cant give up on my cappy. like linda i refuse to give up my dreams of spring. love n peace

that's part dante gabriel..part LG. she quotes it as being his,but in the original poem titled Sudden Light, the last part is different. i like LG's better though ------------------

Its funny you should say that Goober.
Your story touched me the same way, so there must be some recognition on a soul level. I am excited to have "met" you.
And I totally understand your unconditional love for your Cappy.
I guess what I am saying is don't forget you. This relationship is giving you an avenue to dig deep within yourself and intensify your transformation. Don't miss this "eclipse" in your soul. This chance to go within yourself and move mountains. Strive after your transformation more than you strive for your Cappy, and if it is meant in this lifetime as you feel it is then he will be there for you the real authentic you that you have found as you use the pain that he is causing you to strip off layers of your past lives and Karma.
Use that Sag moon girl to dig deep and forge ahead with that Aries ascendant to find a new you, not the one you see everyday in the mirror. Thats just an actor on the stage of a much grander play than this life you have incarnated in. Oh and Ioved, loved, loved the poem. It spoke to my heart as well. HSC- You have got to be on of the kindest, gentlest souls. What a blessing i am sure you are to all in your intimate circle. Your way of expressing yourself is like sparkling water in a mountain stream, refreshing and pure, like waters of life...... ------------------

I just want to make sure to say thank you so much for your words, Mars. I am really glad to know some of your amazing and perceptive heart. And of course you are right. Gooober, thank you so much for your sharing on this thread, it was very meaningful to me.

hey mystic..thanks for stopping by. my cappy mercury, venus, jupiter, neptune and mc was touched my your gentle humor oneruledbymars..my s-elf is very happy to have met you also. and your wise words were very inspiring.this is indeed my moment of soul searching and finding s-elf.that is what scares sometimes.what if the person i find is not who i expect me to be?or worse what if in this quest i lose mys-elf..i feel quite lost already.i've been trying to strip off those layers for a very long time now...maybe you are stronger than i am. You are too kind. But I don't think that it is a matter of being stronger though. Trust me it is not of my own strength that I stand before you and encourage you to stay strong. I was raised very religious, and was always taught to rely on God in everything I do. And although my perception of what and who he is has changed, my faith has always remained as strong as it was when I was a little boy saying my prayers before bedtime .
So what if the person you find is not who you expected it to be. This does not have to be a bad thing, does it? Perhaps what you find will be better than anything you imagined it would be. Have you ever thought about that?
Sometimes when we are lost in the darkness that is when the light shines the brightest in our hearts, if we could only see it.
Even though your quest may seem to much right now. You cant tell me that you dont feel yourself inwardly stretching and reaching and growing.......transforming. No matter how painful it is. Striving involves both free will and the creative side of the mind: We have to make a choice and we have to use our imaginations to relate that ideal to ourselves. Grant you sometimes that is better said than done. But you must trust Gooober, that you will not be lost in the quest because guess what? The Divine loves you, the Bible says that we are what he is most fond of in this Universe. I know trust is not easy to swallow because most of us including myself find trust very difficult. It requires a more challenging use of free will. But to trust, to truly trust in Divine means a willingness to let go of fears and doubts. Its means believing ultimately in forces beyond our conscious selves. When you turn the light on you trust that electricity will be there to light up the room right? When you turn on the faucet you trust that water will come out right?
Then you must trust in this path that you have choosen this lifetime, the good and the bad. And you must trust that because you choose it you are strong enough to live it. Your faith in that will move mountains.
And sometimes it is very scary. Almost like free falling, but the key word is "free". Free from the past because it no longer binds you and limits your ability to make wise choices. Free from the future because you trust that Divine will guide you through each twist and turn. And will never let you be tested beyond what you can bear nor forsake you when you have fallen. All of this makes you free to live in the moment. And how wonderful each moment can be when you really live in them fully. ------------------
