It depends on the intention. And the agenda of the person you are ignoring. If you know it's pointless, why go there. There is an element of self-preservation. I ignore people I don't like. I think it's my right. If they think it's childish, or whatever, that's about them and their ego. My bit is about me and mine. So ignoring them is the best way. It's better than fighting. Because whatever feelings or thoughts I have about them, are for me to deal with and nothing to do with them or anyone else, ultimately. I can do that on my own.And in a romantic sense, I'd rather someone have the courage to ignore me rather than just speak to be polite, giving me false hope. IP: Logged |

What I hate is those who won't leave you alone long enough to think about what it is you want to say without being too hurtful. So when you get fed up with their nagging, you tell them exactly what's on your mind, then they go running as fast as they can to tell everyone how mean and hurtful you are. What a bunch of bs! Sometimes it is in one's own best interest to keep their thoughts and feelings to themselves. IP: Logged | |
