Psychological disorders aren't easily justified to other people. Certain abnormal behaviors aren't seen as possible, believable, or supportable - which means a mental health problem may be present. If a seemingly abnormal behavior is unjustifiable, it’s more likely to be a psychological disorder.

Psychological Problems
Suffering from psychological problems is perceived to be a result of environmental factors or social circumstances. This perception places responsibility on external factors that are beyond the person's control.

Mental Problems
Mental problems are perceived to be caused by individual weakness or genetic faults. This perception places the blame for the problem on internal factors that the patient should be responsible for controlling.

Insanity |inˈsanitē|
(noun)
The state of being seriously mentally ill; madness
Extreme foolishness or irrationality

So, I as I have repeatedly said, mental illness will ultimately lead to insanity.

Groupthink |ˈgroōpˌθi ng k|
(noun)
The practice of thinking or making decisions as a group in a way that discourages creativity or individual responsibility.

Clearly then, groupthink combined with mental illness, increases the chances for an entire community's move toward insanity as there are no checks a balances made from outside the illness of the group.

Figment |ˈfigmənt|
(noun)
A thing that someone believes to be real but that exists only in their imagination.

I hope these definitions are helpful to some of you.

Lunatic |ˈloōnəˌtik|
(noun)
a mentally ill person
• an extremely foolish or eccentric person

fool 1 |foōl|
noun
a person who acts unwisely or imprudently; a silly person.

That may certainly ring a bell for some of you.

I don't think anyone will be upset about it.

Though, it comes to my attention that there was an omission from the original post.

Egomania is an obsessive preoccupation with one's self and applies to someone with delusions of personal greatness. Someone suffering from this extreme egocentric focus is known as "a tool".

I have a lot in Aries, so off-hand it could be seen that I'm an egomaniac. Nah, I'm no handyman. Those of you who know me know I'm far too silly for this. Besides, would anyone in their right wisdom and common sense want to be in that close proximity to an Aries handling sharp implements? An angle grinder a day, keeps the mental doctor away.

to be honest, that's the idea.

it's so stupid.

I love LL but here, it's getting ugly. LL is stronger than that, it's not a nasty language that can threaten it.

I guess I'm against the banning, although I find polo's attitude out of order; insulting people, calling them names, pretending to be spiritual when clearly not behaving like it is outrageous. may be polo's chart doesn't have this "divine masculine" thing after all. and may be a chart is just a potential, not a guarantee.

I'm sorry, I don't have any solutions herethat's why my libra moon and me were thinking of leaving LL when I read this.

now, I really love this place. it has helped me a lot. people here have literally saved my life, at least one knowflake once, I haven't always been perfect, and I'm not gonna be before a while, but I have been accepted somehow. I hope LL was the place where anyone interested in metaphysics, provided it's coming from a positive place, would be accepted. no bigotry.

if someone's personal style doesn't suit us, then let's not open the thread, I don't know, I don't have solutions as I said above. I don't know what's best, all I know is this stuff is sad to me.

I wish you all well

see you

It's his thread, which he opened to take a big swipe at a lot of Knowflakes because he couldn't accept that others see things differently to him (and, therefore they have a psychological disorder!). It's unusual that people voice their support of someone being banned, but I think that it speaks loads that people have. I don't see anyone protesting it, either.

It is sad. I don't like seeing people banned. I especially don't like being involved in it. But even more than that, I hated seeing him really upset people that I really care about here, and who offer amazing contributions to the threads and this site, just for his own amusement.

As ViG's post said in the other thread, you can't discuss anything really because every point made is to prove you wrong and them right every time.

Anyway, I don't see why that should lead to you leaving. I mean, he's a big boy - he's nearly 40 - so, he's responsible for his actions and words. That's no reflection on you in any way.

If you leave, you will be missed. Point blank. I can't make you stay, no-one can. It's, of course, your choice, but really think about it. You're a big part of this crazy family that we are.

I thought he was a teenager.

I don't know, I don't have the capacity to be firm. I tend to accept too much (because I want it, and like it that way) until I get upset for becoming a doormat.

I have no solutions for this case, I couldn't take THE/A good action to this situation. I don't mean to criticize randall's decision or you reporting because I don't know how to handle this situation in a better way.

I really don't know what's best either. to ban him for the sake of peace and "niceness" or to accept his clearly out of order comments (or NO COMMENTS!!!) for the sake of truth.

I don't know

at NO COMMENT. I get it.

This is how I see it. I tend to see the best in everyone, and I give everyone a real fair chance (I think), so to me, when I think someone is being a jerk or whatever, that's really saying something!

Glad to see the scales swung till they reached a balance
imho, PA did the right thing. There *are* rules of conduct here. Some people do get cut more slack than others it seems, but Randall calls 'em as HE sees 'em.
LOL at the "thought (PC) was a teenager" remark -- that speaks LOADS!!!

well he came across as a teenager, or more likely a 22 year old, full of his grownupness and knowledge of everything.

i missed whatever tipped the scales...tho i found him doltish and snarky he was so very blatant with it i don't think he could have upset me if he tried.

i understand there are guidelines here and they address respect more than anything...but how many times do you let a wind-up job like polo c actually upset you?

on the other hand i got tangled up with a troll on the first community i visited online, and not one person, moderator or member, so much as acknowledged the situation. ONE person wrote me privately and suggested that i ignore him (which i actually had advised another member who was being hounded by this guy) and of course it worked!!

i guess censorship in any form bugs da heel out of me...
