Hello fellow romantics! I dont even know if this is the right place to post this, but i think we need some pictures to decorate this forum a bit. Ok, so awhile back, i was going through my hope chest and i found a few wedding ideas, and i was curious about how your sign, maybe moon? Plays a role on the big day. Post your ASC/SUN/MOON For me, ocean side/ lake front is ideal. My astro dna: ASC Taurus/SunGemini/MoonCancer IP: Logged |

My ideal wedding is...SOMEONE ELSE'S! Libra sun, Cancer moon, Sag ASC Seriously, marriage and relationships aren't for me. But if I'm going to someone else's wedding, I'd love a formal affair. I'd love something at night. And, of course, I want to go to a fun reception and have a great time! IP: Logged |

I found this picture some time ago and it struck me. It's like a "forest church". My info is in my signature ------------------ Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius ASC, Year of the Earth Snake "The Manticore is a mythological creature that is half-lion and half-scorpion." IP: Logged |

@RegardesPlatero,No surprise, libras have great taste I love going to other peoples wedding. I get so inspired by the abundance of love, food and dancing. The speeches to the newly wed couple always make me shed a tear or two. And a nightime fancy affair and dancing is of course a must. @theManticore, I love the picture. Its beautiful... Add some lights and flowers and you have something out of a mid summer's night dream But i might be a little worried about the bugs lol IP: Logged |

Yeah lol, I didn't consider the bug thing . I do like your beach front setting, really anything that is a natural and intimate setting is what I would prefer. Grand affairs and huge primped up occasions bother me. They just feel very "put on" and kind of superficial. Surprising to hear from a Leo right? ------------------ Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius ASC, Year of the Earth Snake "The Manticore is a mythological creature that is half-lion and half-scorpion." YES YES YES, to all of those, except outside. But, a beautiful ballroom that had very large windows and a little balcony/garden outside would be nice--you could do both inside and outside that way. I hate how jeans are just OK to wear anywhere, even to work and church and the opera. Well, not OK, but accepted. NO. Just...NO. Also, where do you guys stand on dresses? I am not a fan of the strapless ones. I also don't like plain, blah blah boring "minimalist" dresses. Not a fan of dresses that don't look like wedding dresses, either. I like wedding dresses like those of Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton. @ Junethird out of your pictures of dresses in your first post, I like the 2nd one the best. IP: Logged |

If I ever decide to marry, I want a non-traditional wedding. I always joke that I'll have a heavy metal wedding but I'm not really joking LOL. Gothic/Metal wedding:
This is the type of dress I'd wear: OR THIS This would be the setting (cathedral or castle): Flowers and Decor: And "Love You To Death" by Type O Negative would be playing as I walk down the aisle... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6M8tNgAa4o Capricorn Sun Sagittarius Moon Scorpio ASC Scorpio Venus IP: Logged |

@RegardesPlatero I know, eh... Last xmas i went to see the nutcracker ballet and i was horrified that very few people dressed proper... I dont go to church on a reg basis... Just at xmas and easter, and even then people dont dress up either. Shame really. Noone has respect for anything nowadays. And yes, i love the little cap sleeves and lace for my dream dress... But i waver from the first and second one. I like itsimple and classic. I agree, Grace kelly had great style. It was like second skin to her IP: Logged |

@frankie,I want to come to your wedding lol Love the cathedral/castle idea. I used to want a cathedral wedding, i found a very secluded, charming, old little chapel, but it would depend on my grooms denomination... Add a Horse carriage and voila!! Ps: i loved the candle/light fixtures. Good idea. IP: Logged |

If I were so inclined:It would be a Christmas Eve wedding, candlelit, poinsettas, snow gently falling..... A black wedding dress with crimson tailoring, the groom in a black tux with a crimson bow tie. And to ride away in a white Arabian horse, decorated with red roses, pulling a sleigh..... Pisces sun, Taurus moon, Scorpio asc

I'm having an eyegasm looking at all of the pretty pictures. While I'm not into non-traditional dresses, I do LOVE that cathedral. That would be a very interesting juxtaposition of old/traditional with out-there/new. No one would forget that ceremony, that's for sure!IP: Logged |

Aww thanks , and I'm straight too! lol To be fair though, the ratio of female to male on this forum is probably 10 to 1 so not too surprising. I blame posting here on my 7th house stellium . As far as what I prefer hmmm, I've never really thought about it lol I do love girls in white (venus virgo ), I also like the bare-back look, probably my Leo . Anything with like a lace/ruffles trim I generally think looks good. You gotta have a good amount of cleavage as well, so that the groom doesn't get any second thoughts . I do like that see-through floral look on Kate and Grace Kelly. I have never liked any kind of dress that is too "box" looking like very square shaped. You gotta show those curves! The strapless looks uncomfortable, and I would be paranoid about it falling down while she was walking down the aisle or something lol I will go google dresses and try to find some I like to post. ------------------ Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius ASC, Year of the Earth Snake "The Manticore is a mythological creature that is half-lion and half-scorpion." @Manticore,Lol thats a good point, flashing the guests while walking down the aisle is never a good idea leave that to part to the drunk aunt at the reception How much cleavage would be appropriate.. Wouldnt the groom be jealous that his groomsmen are eyeballing his bride? This is all very interesting information from a guy. Lots to keep in mind. The innocent virginal look with a hint of sexy lol IP: Logged |

@Junethird I found a few that I like, the first one is my favorite . "leave that to part to the drunk aunt at the reception" LOL^^ If any groomsmen eyeballs anything, that groomsmen will get punched in the face lol "The innocent virginal look with a hint of sexy" ^^This describes my venus virgo/scorpio moon combination perfectly . ------------------ Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Aquarius ASC, Year of the Earth Snake "The Manticore is a mythological creature that is half-lion and half-scorpion."
