I knew a guy with those exact placements except his mercury is in libra and he acts the exact same way as your guy. Disappearing for long periods, not answering calls and all that other bs but this guy actually did make efforts to message me first and made it obvious he liked me although he didn't say those exact words. But he asked to take me out.
Maybe his mercury in virgo is being too analytical and he's thinking of all the worst things that could happen if he actually owns up to his feelings. Living in different cities could also be a problem for him.. from what I've experienced virgos have trust issues and would prefer you to be closer to them. Even if he really likes you he's probably thinking it could never work because of the distance.

Yes, I thought the same thing about the distance..
And as for the calls, he answers my calls and always texts me back. I don't know what to do but I really feel he's worth it. He really makes me feel special when we're together and I feel there is a mutual understanding between us.
I see that he's interested in me and likes me but at the same time something is stopping him.
His other placements are: Moon is Sag, Jupiter in Virgo, Uranus/Neptune/Lilith/Asc Node in Capricorn, Saturn in Aqua and Pluto in Scorpio (if this make the picture more clear)

With that sag moon it might be hard to be pin him down. They love their freedom. Or he could be a little passive in love relationships, ie he has problems getting them off the ground due to insecurity or procrastination,it could be anything really. Maybe you should post the chart.

These are the only placements I can tell due to the fact that I don't know his birth hour (and he doesn't know it either).

I have Moon in Sag, too, so I love my freedom as well and he knows it. I guess he likes his more.

The other thing that I forgot to mention is that recently I found that his best friend knows that "there is something between us", but I don't know if my Virgo guy told him something or if his friend just noticed. Another friend of ours noticed that "something" this summer and always joked around with me about him telling me "He's a good guy, you should totally think about it" (in front of him!... and he didn't say anything, he was just standing up there and watched my awkward and confused reaction).

So yeah, I can't figure it out. I'm a Aries/Taurus cusp, btw, if that matters. I think giving up is not an option yet, but my Mars in Pieces won't ever let me make the first move or admit my feelings (even I think I give him some hits..somehow..).

I have a sag moon too. Idk how much of a role it plays by itself but i love someone who can make me laugh and i do need alot of space sometimes.I don't like people who try to control me.
Is his sun square his moon?
And is his venus sq pluto?

I honestly think he likes you. A virgo would never waste their time on someone if they didn't. And since the both of you have mars in a passive sign i think yal both may be waiting on the other to make the first move.

I only have personal experience with venus sq pluto. 'My' virgo guy has it too. At first he seemed really sweet and charming but once we got closer i found out he had extreme trust issues and was always suspicious of me. Any little thing so much as me missing a phone call, he took as i was up to something. He was very jealous and i felt he did things to try to control the relationship or show he had the upper hand.
Im not saying your guy will be like this but mines played mind games and used emotional blackmail if something didn't go his way.
I think being in the signs of leo and scorpio makes this aspect worse bc leo is already dramatic as hell and scorpio is overly suspicious & always looking for ulterior motives.

oh jeeze, i can totally relate to this. I have sun square moon and venus opposite pluto. I acted the same way with an ex. I only did it because i liked him so much and didnt believe his feeling were as strong for me. So i did things to "control" the relationship and i constantly accused him of sneaking around and not caring about my me. Be careful venus pluto can be very intense in romantic relationships and throw in sun/sqaure moon, oh boy lol.....op i imagine your guy probably takes his relationships very seriously with that venus pluto sqaure and watch out for mind games! I think he sounds really nice, the perfect gentleman - intelligent, sweet, thoughtful etc! lol. And it does sound like he is interested in you for sure. I suspect the reason he doesn't initiate contact with you is he's scared of rejection OR (possibly) likes to play it cool and not let on he's into you.

I have similar placements in my own chart (except my Mars is in Leo) so I can relate to his kind of personality although obviously I'm a woman!

Yes, he is perfect! I'm so mad at me for waiting so long before making a move to show him something from my side... I think I've reject him unconciously many times because I didn't take the hits at time... And I guess this could be also a reason he didn't do or say anything more(because, like you said, fear of rejection).I hope things will get in their place with time because I think we share a really special connection...
I'm curious.. when you really like someone, do you easily lose feelings for the person if you're away from him? And what do you think about long-distance relationships?

Not me personally. I think I'm a bit romantic like that, if I'm into them I'm pretty much loyal to them (unless they do something that has REALLY put me off them) and will try to maintain a good communication knowing that I will be seeing them again at some point anyway. I've done the long-distance relationship thing too (for 3 years actually! gulp). It can be a strain sometimes and you do sometimes worry the fizzle will go out of it or they will get bored waiting for you and go find someone else. Personally I don't think I could do it again, unless for a short period of time. I've made some dumb choices in the past, that's for sure! lol

I think Virgos are more loyal that way than you'd imagine though.

Wow glad i found this thread. My bf has the same placements. Though he has Leo Rising and Saggie Moon. I call him my slow and steady. I'm Gemini Sun, with Libra Rising...Merc in Taurus, Mars in Leo and Venus in Cancer. Although my bf is very reserved he is filled with passion that can be tapped at the right moments. Lots of houses in Leo too. I think this off sets a lot of the coldness, which he has plenty of at times, but can be so childlike and playful too. And wow demands lots of attention and loyalty...I think I've been with him this long (commitment phobe or was) is because he's such a challenge and was not easily seduced by me. Now I'm totally in love...They say if anyone can tame a Gemini it would be a Virgo. It was somewhere on here, while an Aries would be second to that.

A little bit of history, I pursed him for several months and we turned it up for about a month or so and it fizzled out. I think I was too wild for him. I made the severe mistake of teasing in a condescending way when he asked to hang out again after a week or two--saying "Nah, I'm good. JK" to which he replied, "Whatever doesn't really matter, IDC." Then I came back to him 5 months later telling him I missed him and wah la putty in my hands. We didn't hook up until a month later after he broke up with then gf. We had a long distance relationship for 9 months and the absence makes the heart grow fonder really works. We saw each other on weekends. Then I moved to his town and that's where we are now. From personal experience so far (only 1 year) I can tell you the following. These virgo males (I find virgo sexy) they are very intellectual and require you to be intellectual with them and hold to their level. They are sweet and will do all they can for your happiness. They are also physical beings, they want physical closeness but also emotional. The trick is for them to trust you and start putting down their defenses. They re loyal people (best friend is also virgo but with different aspects) and they expect the same level of commitment and loyalty. My man also likes his space...though I think I like mine even more despite my pisces moon. The mars in libra makes them very balanced and open minded and they aren't ones for aggression especially in physical terms unless it is needed. They love reading about the world and watch then news and think and analyse everything. They won't be always very clear with their emotions and if u expect dramatic outbursts or affection he will not be your man. This man also likes common sense, grounded, strong, powerful, equal partner whom he can feel at ease with at any time.

Oh where to begin..so we met like a year and like 4 months ago, sparks right away everything was perfect..until 3 months after he like got scared and ran away when things were getting serious..3 months after that he came back around and its literally been hot and cold. I want to rip my hairout. Hes everything iv always wanted tho..so sweet, caring, smart, gives me good advice, makes me laugh, makes me feel calm around him, and like i disapear into love land..and then all of a sudden turns distant, cold, aloof and acts like its nothing out of the ordinary.. i know he isnt with any other girls, he falls into this like weird place, almost like gets lost in his mind.i dont even knoe what to do anymore, and we dont have a title which is annoying..is yours like that too?
