well it makes sense though...

before we humans talked and walked upright and stuff we had to sniff each other to see what was what.... I mean there HAD to be some other way of choosing a potential partner other than just simple proximity.

A few years back I was dating this guy who was so gorgeous you'd just want eat his face, one of those you know.... and he was in a band, and at the time the band all grew these long gross beards. Like the ZZ Top kind. Eww. Now this guy was extremely clean. Like took 2 hours to get ready and all that stuff.... but whenever he went to kiss me my first reaction was to shrink away because of the smell of his beard. Which didn't smell like food, or smoke or anything... just kinda like hair. IDK. Making a long story short, he cut it, I liked it, it was a nice 7 months and we're still friends.

^Eeewww, Gypsee that's what grosses me out about facial hair. A little stubble is sexy, but that's where I have to draw the line. I don't see how crumbs don't get caught up in that. Seriously, if I was a guy I would not want to risk getting my own facial hair in my food. I have long hair, and it manages to get in the strangest places.

Since someone mentioned it, but edited it out....

I'll admit, I used to love the smell of my ex's armpits. He seriously never got body odor. I loved curling up and cuddling with him and smelling his armpits. I didn't mention it in my other comment, because everyone I know judged me when I told them that. I thought I was alone. Well his armpits smelled amazing, even without deodorant. There, I said it!

I don't think there is anything in the world wrong with that!

I know a Mars in Virgo guy who goes nutty over natural smells. He will pick up the laundry in your hamper and smell it. lmao.

I think it's sweet about your BF. You know the more you love somebody the more everything about them becomes... intensified. Their eye color, their smell, the way they walk and talk, all of that stuff. It's part of the biology that keeps us bonded. :rheart:
