wedding - i was named "wedding coordinator" for my aunt's big day January of 07 - it was a lot of fun and it was nice to see people having a good time and the bride and groom smiling - it was a really nice feeling. my sister may be getting married soon. i might get the opportunity to do it again.

From a practical viewpoint yes, I think those are the very things that worry me. I sometimes think he isn't very realistic about this and I want to know that he is mature enough to really be an equal partner in this, on every level. I'd like to take several more months to really be sure that he is willing to be serious about it and also make sure we have the practicalities firmly decided.

* The advice here SoulMate, is spiritual. Firstly, your mum needs to reward herself. Does she focus too much on others, work, doing the right thing, chasing a problem round and round, like a dog chasing it’s own tail? It’s time to stop. Just a little time scheduled into her week to focus on herself, will help immensely. (I recently told my own mother to do this.) Timetable even an hour a week that is her time. Literally tell everyone between 2 and 3pm on Saturday I will not be available to anyone! She can use this time how she likes, have a nap, go for a walk, play with her pets, read a book, sun bathe, go swimming. Whatever, but treat it like another job, it cannot be negotiated, or changed or interfered with. She must do this to gain some peace of mind and reconnect with her higher self. (If she’s not open to spiritual discussion, just tell her ‘mum, you need to take time to relax, you deserve it.’) She then needs to say a prayer or just simply ask the angels to come and help her, they need to be asked, not from ego, not in anger, just a simple request ‘Please take these burdens from me and sort them out, thank you’; then she needs to let them go, I agree this is the hardest part, but they can only do their work when we let them. The grounding advice speaks for itself, when we chase our own tails we detach from ourselves, and end up feeling even more out of control. Rub your hands together until they are warm, this centres your energy; now hold your hands apart about 1 foot palms facing each other and imagine all your love for your mum as a pink ball of love floating between your hands, hum a note as you do this (or when I do it for my daughter I hum a tune I used to sing her to sleep with) then ask the angels to help you send love and light to your mum and relieve her of her problems and stress; when you feel totally focused in the exercise send the ball to your mum; imagine it going into her heart chakra and making her glow with the pink love from yourself and the angels.
